Definitions
- the invention relates to a cover rosette for a sanitary concealed fitting with one on the concealed fitting attachable cover plate and a means a locking device releasably attached to the cover plate Decorative hood, with cover plate and decorative hood coaxial through openings for an area of the concealed fitting exhibit.
- Cover rosettes of this type serve to protect the concealed fitting against splashing water and at the same time Transitional area between that emerging from the wall Area of the concealed fitting and this area to cover the adjacent wall section in a visually appealing manner.
- a cover rosette of the type mentioned is out known from EP 0 485 842 B1.
- the cover rosette described there includes a cover plate for attachment is screwed onto the concealed fitting, and a decorative hood.
- the decorative hood has molded push-button-like Cones with which they can be inserted into openings in the Cover plate for detachable fastening by means of the pin and the openings formed locking device snaps into place.
- Such a cover rosette has the disadvantage that the elastic deformation path between which the resting Connection of the decorative hood and the cover plate is very low. This requires a high degree of dimensional accuracy of these components, especially the position and dimensions the push button-like pin, in the manufacture, so the components fit together when installing the cover rosette.
- the due to the low elastic deformation path highly stressed elasticity of the locking connection experience has shown that plastic is used over time Deformation used up, causing the connection can solve undesirable.
- the cover rosette has at least one elastically yielding Spring tongue comprising spring tongue, by means of the locking device, the at least one Has locking projection that holds the hood so that the connection caused by the locking device by a part of the locking device from the cover plate away tensile force is releasable.
- the spring section with at least an elastic spring tongue is achieved, that the elastic deformation path of the locking device constituent components within which they are safe Ensure latching connection, compared to known Locking devices for cover rosettes of the aforementioned Kind is increased.
- the spring section of an advantageous embodiment the invention is through several to the through holes concentric, spaced apart elastically yielding Spring tongues formed.
- the locking device comprises two locking elements with matching locking surfaces with several locking projections. With such designed locking surfaces Latching device several latching positions in relation the passage opening in the axial direction. This makes possible the use of decorative hoods with different Heights, all using the same locking device can be securely attached.
- one of the locking elements is fixed to the housing with the concealed fitting is connected by such training the locking device even with different installation depths the concealed fitting in an installation wall the cover rosette be installed safely and visually.
- the ability to always use the same locking device leads to cost savings in the manufacture of the Components of the cover rosette.
- the locking projections are preferably saw teeth. Such Locking projections are easy to manufacture and give a secure hold.
- the saw teeth asymmetrical. This ensures that the effort required to engage and release the detents Connection of the locking device is different.
- the flanks of the saw teeth close when Put on the decorative hood, a smaller one Angle with the direction of action of the force than the flanks the saw teeth, which are loaded when the hood is loosened.
- the effort in assembly is relatively low and the latching device is nevertheless securely connected because the connection made by the locking device only after overcoming a limit force releases its amount is greater than that of the assembly force.
