Definitions
- the invention relates to a tube according to the preamble of independent claim 1, as well as a golf club.
- Tubes are known which are made by drawing metal, or by winding Mats made of fiber-reinforced synthetic resin materials, or by winding Fibers are made. These tubes are relatively light, but have one moderate bending elasticity. The pipes have poor vibration damping Characteristics. The damping properties must be subsequently through the Installation or attachment of damping elements can be improved. All these Pipes have insufficient for certain applications Damping properties.
- Conventional shafts of golf clubs are also e.g. either drawn Metal pipes or pipes wound from fiber materials.
- Draw metal pipes are characterized by good elasticity, but have a relatively high weight and poor damping properties.
- Coiled pipes made of fiber materials are characterized by low weight with moderate elasticity: the Damping properties are inadequate for many applications.
- the damping properties of conventionally manufactured pipes Fiber materials such as pulling or winding are hardly sufficient and have to be therefore be retrofitted.
- EP 0 662 391 A2 describes a tube with the structure according to the preamble of independent claim 1 of the present invention.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a tube of high elasticity, good torsional behavior and low weight. At the same time the pipe has good vibration damping properties. It is still one Object of the present invention to a golf club with a shaft create high elasticity, good torsional rigidity and light weight having.
- the Golf club according to the invention has a shaft made of a tube according to the Invention on.
- the wires can be made of metal, carbon fiber, glass or Kevlar, for example consist.
- the wires can be single wires, but the Structure of these wires can also be stranded, or the wire can be a braid his. Wires such as those used for piano strings are particularly suitable be used. It is also conceivable to use different wires Use materials and / or with different structures in one tube.
- the wires themselves can in turn be tubular or tubular.
- the wires advantageously have a diameter of approximately 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm, wires with different diameters are of course also suitable.
- a pipe according to the invention can be manufactured, for example, as follows.
- a first is placed on a winding body such as a winding mandrel Fiber layer wound. This can be done with a winding machine which the threads or fibers, one next to the other or each turn in a certain distance from the next on the mandrel.
- This first winding layer, or wound layer can with a synthetic resin be smeared and watered.
- the longitudinal wires on the wound layer are brought.
- the longitudinal wires can in turn Resin painted over and embedded in it.
- the longitudinal wires can together with the synthetic resin in between Form line wire layer. More can be wound over the longitudinal wires Layers and on this again line wires are applied until the tube has the correct structure.
- the pipe according to the invention has the required properties such as high Elasticity, high torsional strength, light weight on the for the shaft of a golf club, for example.
- the vibration damping properties can be used if necessary simple means and measures can be changed by working on certain Place damping elements in or around the pipe become.
- Foams are suitable as damping elements. Inside the Rohres can, for example, use granules made of elastomer, such as latex become. The granules can be embedded in a foam.
- the tube according to the invention is extremely resistant to bending and kinking thus good bending resistance.
- the pipe points very good tensile properties.
- Metal wires 3, preferably made of spring steel or titanium, in the longitudinal direction of the Tube 6 of Fig. 1, are on a radius R around the center of the tube 6, arranged.
- arranging the metal wires on a radius R results a high rigidity of the tube 6, which with the increase in the radius R also increases.
- the core of the tube 6 can be made of a foam 1 and can also as Serve core for the first wound fiber material zone 2.
- This Foam core 1 also serves to dampen the vibrations. The effect of the damping can be increased even further by Damping body 9, preferably rubber granules, in the foam core 1 be stored, as shown in Fig. 4.
- the tube 6 can also be completely filled with a damping body.
- any winding material can be used as the fiber material for the wound layer fiber, wire or thread-like material such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, Kevlar, Textile thread, plastic thread or filament thread can be used.
- the first fiber material zone 2 preferably carbon fibers, is together with an adhesive wound on the foam core 1 or a mandrel. Fig. 1.
- the metal wires 3, FIG. 1, follow the fiber material zone 2. Multiple layers Metal wires 3 are also possible. These metal wires 3 are made with special Facilities attached. These facilities and the procedure will be described in detail later. There can be several fiber material zones and / or zones with metal wires can be provided in the wall of a tube. In a next step, the fiber material zone 4 with an adhesive wound over the metal wires 3, FIG. 1.
- the space between the fiber material zones 2 and 4 and between the Metal wires 3 are filled with adhesive.
- the entire tube 6 is, as described above, step by step and in one single continuous manufacturing process. After this Curing the adhesive, the tubes 6 are still assembled, i.e. cut to length, printed etc.
- the outer contour of the tube 6 can be round. as Polygonal or wavy design, Fig. 5a to c.
- the wavy outer contour, as shown in Fig. 5c, for example can be obtained with a mold in which the tube is cured becomes.
- the fiber material zones 2 and 4 in one Direction are preferably wrapped.
- Metal wires 3 results in a slim design and thus a large one Savings in fiber materials.
- the tubes 6 can also be designed without a foam core 1. Not applicable the foam core, then a special one can be used for winding removable winding mandrel can be used.
- the pipe cross sections can be designed as desired. 6a to f shows just a few examples. 6a shows a circular cross section. Fig. 6b shows an oval or elliptical cross section. 6c shows a drop or egg-shaped cross section, FIG. 6d a rectangular cross section and FIG. 6e a square cross section. 6f finally shows one parallelepiped-shaped cross section.
- Fig. 7 shows some examples. 7a shows a schematic cross section conical tube, FIG. 7b a cylindrical tube, FIG. 7c a concave and FIG. 7d a convex or barrel-shaped tube.
- the wall thickness of the pipe 6 be constant over the entire length I or it can vary over the length I distributed rejuvenate.
- the metal wires 3 can also have high resistance to twisting twisted / twisted to the longitudinal direction of the tube 6 installed in the wall be, which is illustrated schematically in Fig. 8.
- damping agents e.g. a foam core 1 or the foam core 1 with embedded damping bodies 9, such as rubber granules, can also only partially distributed over the length I, which is shown schematically in FIG. 9 is illustrated.
- a plurality of damping bodies 9 can also be located in one tube 6 with different structures and / or made of different materials his
- Fig. 10 a the longitudinal wires themselves are designed as tubes.
- longitudinal wires with strand structure are shown in Fig. 10 b.
- 10 d shows the structure of a Pipe, in which a winding layer 10 the longitudinal wires alternately wrapped around inside and outside.
- the loosely wound Winding layer 10 lies on inner wires 3 and on winding layer 10 are the outer wires 3. If the following outer Winding layer 4 is wound hard, the wires 3 will wipe into the layer the outer winding layer zone 4 and the inner winding layer zone 2 brought, as shown in Fig. 10 d.
- the wires 3 could also have a Press mold in a layer 3 between the outer winding layer zone 4 and the inner winding layer zone 2 are pressed. It is also possible that to arrange the inside and outside wires 3 to each other so that the based on the winding layer 10 inside and outside Wires lying on different radii R, i.e. that they have different distances to the center of the pipe.
- FIG. 10 e shows schematically the arrangement of the wires 3 in three groups are distributed over the scope.
- FIG. 10 f shows an arrangement of Wires 3 in four groups that are at different angular distances from each other are arranged. All groups are equidistant from the central axis of the pipe. The groups of longitudinal wires could as well have different distances from the central axis.
