Definitions
- the invention relates to a pocket tool with an elongated handle serving and a receiving area for at least one in one Functional position having functional element that can be removed from the handle Body element, wherein the at least one functional element against the force an elastic element around a pivot bearing from the body element can be swung out.
- Pocket tools of this type are known, for example, as pocket knives, with two bowls serving as a booklet, lying opposite each other, between which one or more functional parts, such as knife blades, corkscrews, Screwdriver and the like. Swung out and essentially by Spring pressure are kept in the swung in or out state.
- functional parts such as knife blades, corkscrews, Screwdriver and the like. Swung out and essentially by Spring pressure are kept in the swung in or out state.
- functional parts arranged pivotably via rivet bolts, their functional surfaces as knife blade, can opener, nail file, corkscrew and the like are formed.
- pocket knives with for the most different Functional parts suitable for use are also reflected in that known pocket knives are combined with a writing instrument. Such pocket knives are subject to high assembly costs and therefore cause cost-intensive production.
- Known pocket tools preferably pocket knives
- Another disadvantage of pivotable functional elements is that these are usually pivotable about an axis and thus absorb torsional forces only to a limited extent. Also can be Do not open functional elements with previously known pocket tools with one hand and close.
- the knife blade can be cut through the Open the relaxation of a preloaded spring with one hand, but usually no longer close with one hand.
- Other functional elements are in slots in the Shells or inserted in the body element and removable.
- pocket tools are designed for certain general functions and in the rarest of cases are pocket tools for special individual tasks designed because this is associated with too high costs.
- the present invention is based on the object of providing a pocket tool of the generic type in which improved control of the holding forces is made possible at least in one of the transport or functional positions and fatigue of the elastic element does not have a disadvantageous effect, the pocket tool should be economical to manufacture and easy to use.
- a generic pocket tool is developed in that the elastic element rests on the talon of the functional element and the two cooperate in at least one end position in a latching cam / latching sink combination.
- a functional element can be swung out Functional element stored against the force of a spring and between one in the Body element folded transport position and one from the body element the functional position can be swiveled out.
- the spring serves on the one hand a holding force in the transport position against accidental Fold out, on the other hand a spring force in the extended functional position against accidental folding.
- the functional element is moved with its talon against a leaf spring.
- the other can Element While on one of the two Element at least one locking cam is positioned, the other can Element have a cam recess, and positioned so that in the desired end position of the cams is locked in the cam recess. Thereby an increased holding force is provided.
- the cam sink can preferably be on one of the ends of the guideway be formed on the spring.
- a cam formed on the talon, with respective cam sinks on the spring work together. This allows the dimensions of the cams and the cam sinks check and preset the respective holding forces, so that even if the spring is fatigued, it is still sufficient Holding force of the functional element is guaranteed. The functional element is thus secured against unintentional folding during operation.
- the locking cams or locking sinks can be exchanged on Talon and Spring element can be arranged.
- the spring element can also in its Training at the free end should be designed so that it is in a deep resting depression is groove-like, engages to counter a particularly high holding force to provide unintended folding during operation. For example, improper handling of pocket knives is one of them suitable for unintentionally folding the pocket knife, which then cuts into the fingers holding the body element.
- the invention also proposes that swing-out functional element in its body element pivoted position is elastically pressed into the body element, what can also be favored by appropriate cam / sink formation can.
- the invention is an economically producible and simple, in particular also one-hand operated pocket tool with functional elements provided.
- the formation of locking cams and notches between Functional element and the associated spring increase operating safety and improve the functionality, in particular because of unintentional folding is largely avoided during use.
- the invention proposes a further improvement of the springs. While conventionally the springs versus counter bearing elements on the The springs now instruct boards to be counter-mounted appropriate places cams on the springs adjacent to the cams can be counteracted. Thus, special counter bearing points in the Intermediate boards are largely dispensed with.
- Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a functional element 1 in the form of a Saw / knife assembly 2, which is a pivot bearing 3 from a body element shown is pivotable into a functional position.
- the The swivel range arrangement is arranged in the talon 4 of the functional element 1 and in the drawing shows a function line, the Longitudinal center line to the swing-out functional area, decentralized arrangement of the pivot bearing 3. This favors the absorption of torsional forces.
- the Spring 5, the end of which is shown, has an end region 6, which acts as a cam and sink area in front of it is formed.
- the cam engages in the Function end position in a valley in Talon 4 while a corresponding one Cams on the talon engages in the depression 5 in front of it. Thereby the holding force and the force required for feedback are controlled.
- the feather runs with its free end along the movement path 9 and overlaps the Cam 8 on Talon 4, to the holding force in the pivoted state enlarge.
- FIG. 2 shows the talon 30 of the blade 27 pivotable about the axis 29 and the corresponding End region of the spring 28.
- the Functional element 24 rests the blade 27 with its rest stop area 31 the rest stop area 32 of the spring 28.
- a cam 33 on the blade valley 30 in a cam depression 34 on the spring snapped into place.
- the angle 35 for example between 22 ° and 37 °, is decisive for the force that has to be applied to the Lever cam 33 out of depression 34.
- the angle 36th the cam depression 34 can be adapted, for example in a range between 20 ° and 35 °. If the blade is gripped and the holding force is exerted by force overcome, so that the cam 33 is lifted out of the cam depression 34 , the trajectory 37 passes through at the very end of the blade valley the rest stop 32. This slide guide causes a clean swing-out movement the blade 27 with respect to the spring 28. Finally, the shown embodiment shown with 38 cams on the Klingentalon in the Cam depression 39 on the further spring edge. The height of the stop 42 defines the pivoted blade position.
