Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a spring pin, in particular a square pin for a door or window handle, preferably for a door handle.
  • Square pins for door or window fittings are known and widely used.
  • a square pin as a pusher mandrel is inserted through a square hole of a lock nut, and pushers are placed on one or both ends.
  • One end of the square pin is inserted into a square hole in the pusher.
  • a door handle pin with a leaf spring is also known, wherein the leaf spring extends over the entire length of the door push pin and has three wave-like curvatures, which provide its spring action.
  • a pusher connection for detachable connection of a handle handle with a pusher mandrel is known, which can alternatively be used to attach a pusher mandrel in a locknut.
  • the pusher mandrel is provided with a spring element which has two legs and extends over a portion of the length of the mandrel.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to improve known square pins so that for various combinations of doors, locks and door handles regardless of the strength of the door and the depth of the square holes in the door handles the game between square pin and Locknut and at the same time the play between pusher and square pin is eliminated.
  • a square pin according to claim 1 Accordingly, a spring element extending substantially over the entire length of the square pin is arranged on at least one edge of the square pin. As a result, over the entire length of the same spring effect is present, so that the pin according to the invention is suitable for a variety of combinations of doors and locks, each having different strengths. Since the spring action is evenly distributed over the entire length of the pin, it is present in the same way at every point and therefore always acts independently of the thicknesses of the door and lock in the area of the square hole in the pusher and in the area of the square hole of the lock nut.
  • the spring element is formed substantially as an angle element with two legs which enclose an angle of about 90 °.
  • the legs have approximately the same length in a direction transverse to the main axis of the square pin.
  • the square pin is preferably formed as a profile pin whose cross-section at the said edge on which the spring element is arranged, a recessed region, so that the profile pin completes substantially together with the spring element, the square shape.
  • the recessed portion of the profiled pin may be formed such that the legs of the spring element abut in the region of their outer ends at the recessed area, the transition region between the legs, however, is spaced from the profiled pin.
  • the mentioned edge, on which the spring element is arranged is rounded off with a radius.
  • the spring element is a bent part, which in the transition region between the legs inside forms a radius which is smaller than the mentioned radius of the edge of the square.
  • the recessed region of the profiled pin can be repeatedly stepped on both affected side surfaces of the square.
  • the angle of the spring element can be spread by force, which leads to an additional spring effect.
  • the spring action is preferably achieved in that the angle element has on the two, the included angle facing away from the outer sides of the legs a plurality of bulges, which may be in particular substantially diamond-shaped, further comprising two opposite sides of the diamond-shaped bulge substantially parallel to the Be longitudinal edges of the angle element and the other two sides of the diamond-shaped bulge with the longitudinal edges of the angle element can form an angle of about 45 °.
  • the oblique arrangement of the bulges or projections facilitates the insertion and removal of the pin in and out of the lock nut, in particular when using a so-called. "Klemmnuß", which itself has a directed inward in the direction of the pen spring action. Furthermore, the insertion and removal of an actuating element, such as a door handle, is facilitated.
  • the respective distance between two adjacent bulges in the longitudinal direction of the angle element is about the same as the width of a respective bulge in the same direction, results in an almost complete coverage of the length of the pin with spring projections, so that substantially over the entire Length of the pin the same spring action is present.
  • the bulge in the vertical cross section between the two mentioned, substantially parallel to the longitudinal edges of the angular element extending sides is curved or circular arc-shaped.
  • the spring action of the angle element for example, by a single, extending in the longitudinal direction of the spring element, outwardly projecting bulge in each of the legs can be provided, wherein the bulge extends substantially over the entire length of the spring element.
  • This bulge can be subdivided in any desired manner into a plurality of subsections, with an oblique subdivision being preferred for the abovementioned reasons.
  • the spring element can be plugged onto the profile pin, so that a uniform spring pin yields and the relative arrangement between the profile pin and spring element is always maintained.
  • the recess is at profile pins of different thickness cross section always at the same distance from the peripheral region of the profiled pin - possibly also acentric with respect to the end face - provided so as to achieve that one and the same spring element can be used for profile pins with different strong cross-section.
  • the profile pin is preferably made of C15 steel or an equivalent material with a coating of Fe / Zn, whereas the spring element consists of spring steel and can be advantageously produced in the stamping-stamping process.
  • a cross-sectional view of a square pin 1 according to a first embodiment of the invention.
  • the square pin has two parts, namely a profiled pin 2 and a spring element 3.
  • the profiled pin 2 is essentially a square pin, but is reset at one edge 4, so that there is a recess 5 extending over the edge 4 across the corner.
  • the recess 5 has at the edge 4 remote from the end a depth which corresponds approximately to the material thickness of the spring element 3, so that the patch spring element 3 substantially completes the square shape of the spring pin 1.
  • the depth of the recess 5 gradually increases towards the edge 4, and the edge 4 is rounded with a radius, so that a correspondingly increasing intermediate space 6 is formed between the profiled pin 2 and the spring element 3.
  • the spring element 3 has an angular configuration and has two legs 7, 8, which are formed substantially identical and have according to the sectional view shown in the plane of an equal length. However, this length of the legs 7, 8 is shorter than the extent of the recess 5, so that between a respective end of the legs 7, 8 of the spring element 3 and one of the recess 5 to the maximum outer dimension of the profiled pin 2 leading stage 9, 10 a Interspace 11, 12 is formed, in which the legs 7, 8 of the spring element 3 can move when the spring element 3 is pressed upon application of force in the direction of the central axis M of the spring pin 1 and thereby slightly spread.
  • the angle between the two legs 7, 8 is preferably 90 ° or less than 90 °.
  • FIG. 2 is a view similar to FIG. 1.
  • the profile pin according to the embodiment of FIG. 2 differs from the profile pin 2 according to FIG. 1 in that the recess 5 is stepped several times.
  • a first step 9, 11 leads to a first depth of the recess 5, which corresponds approximately to the material thickness of the spring element 3.
  • This first depth of the recess 5 is maintained approximately constant in order to provide a sufficiently large shoulder for supporting the spring element 3.
  • a further step 13, 14 then leads to a second depth of the recess 5, which is greater than the material thickness of the spring element 3, so that a gap 6 between the profile pin 2 and the spring element 3 is formed.
  • the edge 4 is also rounded here with a radius which is greater than a radius in the bending region of the angle element 3, to provide the gap 6 in the edge region.
  • the remaining edges of the profiled pin 2 are chamfered or rounded with a small radius (cf., Fig. 1 and 2), to allow easier insertion into the respective square hole.
  • the edges of the respective end face of the profiled pin are provided with a chamfer 15. This also serves for easier insertion into the respective square hole.
  • the end faces of the profile pin each have a centrally-centered, conical depression 16 whose opening angle can be, for example, 120 °.
  • FIG. 4 shows a view of a spring element 3 according to the invention.
  • a plurality of bulges or projections 20 are provided on the leg 8 of the spring element 3 and extend substantially over the entire length of the spring element 3.
  • a corresponding plurality of bulges 20 is provided on the other leg 7, namely arranged in mirror image with respect to the bending line of the angle element 3.
  • the bulges 20 have the shape of a rhombus whose sides are substantially parallel to one another the longitudinal edge 8a of the leg 8 and on the other hand with this edge 8a form an angle of 45 °.
  • the width B of the bulge 20 is about the same size as the gap Z between each two adjacent bulges.
  • the bulges 20 in the vertical cross-section between the two substantially parallel to the longitudinal edges of the angular element extending sides are arcuate and merge at the ends in each case in the otherwise planar structure of the respective leg.
  • the transition can be similarly soft or abrupt, as can be seen, for example, in FIG.
  • the spring element 3 has at the ends lugs 17, 18, which are not bent in the view of Fig. 4 and 5.
  • the outer contour of the projections 17, 18 corresponds to an extension of the outer edge of the legs 7, 8.
  • the inner contour of the projection 18, d. H. the contour pointing towards the crease line of the angle element 3 starts at the crease line with a circular arc 18a which extends over approximately 120 °, then merges into a straight step 18b which forms a parallel with the outer contour and finally strikes a slope 18c of about 45 ° on the outer contour.
  • the projection 17 on the other leg is formed corresponding mirror image, so that a corresponding contour 17a, 17b, 17c results.
  • the approaches are bent. This is preferably done by double bending, namely once at a first bend by about 90 ° and on the other at a closer to the outer end of the approach located second bending point by about 40 °.
  • the spring pin is used together with a door fitting with door handle.
  • the spring pin is also suitable for various other applications or possibly adaptable, for example for window fittings.
