Claims (12)

  1. Method for the cleaning of guide rollers (27) in a web-fed rotary printing machine by means of a material web (1), characterized in that the material web (1) is provided with at least one information item (6; 7), in that this information item (6; 7) 5 is detected by means of a sensor (33) for controlling the cleaning, and in that the information item (6; 7) used is at least one bar code or hole code.
  2. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that a position of the cleaning agent (22) on the material web (1) is determined by means of the information item (6; 7).
  3. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that a device (19) for the application of cleaning agent is started by means of this information item (6; 7).
  4. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that a differential speed between 15 the material web (1) and the guide roller (27) to be cleaned is triggered by means of this information item (6; 7).
  5. Method according to Claim 4, characterized in that an operating period for the differential speed is extended by means of a timer.
  6. Apparatus for the cleaning of guide rollers (27) in a web-fed rotary printing machine by means of a material web (1) wetted directly with cleaning agent, characterized in that at least one information item (6; 7) is arranged on or in the material web (1) for controlling the cleaning, in that the information item (6; 7) is in the form of a bar code or hole code, and in that a reader (24; 33) for detecting the information item (6; 7) is assigned to a guide roller (27) or a group of guide rollers (27).
  7. Apparatus according to Claim 6, characterized in that the guide roller (27) or the group of guide rollers (27) is assigned a device (28), activated by means of the reader (33), for generating a differential speed between the material web (1) and 10 the guide roller (27).
  8. Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the device (28) for generating a differential speed is designed as a friction brake.
  9. Apparatus according to Claim 7, characterized in that the device (28) for generating a differential speed is designed as a motor.

  12. Apparatus according to Claim 10, characterized in that the device (19) for the application of cleaning agent (22) consists of a dipping roller located in a cleaning-agent reservoir and having a doctor blade and of an applicator roller capable of being pivoted onto the paper web (1).
