Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable ink washing to be performed in a shot period of time and improve work safety and operational efficiency by running detergent-impregnated paper through a paper passage and then paper which does not allow impregnation of a detergent. CONSTITUTION:The circumferential surfaces of an impression cylinder blanket cylinders, guide rollers 4, 4... and turn bar which are located at a paper passage for paper 1 are washed with detergent impregnated into paper 1 which is passed in the same manner as when printing is performed. After this, said circumferential surfaces are continuously wiped using the non-detergent impregnated paper 1. The washing operation of the circumferential surfaces of the impression cylinder, blanket cylinders 2, 2, guide rollers 4, 4... is carried out subsequent to printing process upon its termination. Thus washing operation can be performed in a short time without any time loss immediately after the printing process. In addition, wipe-off operation is dispensed with, eliminating any dirtry work at a dangerous position. Significantly effective results can be obtained in such aspects as work safety and efficiency.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to a rotary printing press that performs printing by threading paper from a paper feeding section through a printing section to a processing section such as a folding section.
More specifically, the present invention relates to a cleaning method and apparatus for cleaning ink piled on the surface of each member on a paper path, including guide rollers, turn bars, impression cylinders, and blanket cylinders.

In printing using conventional rotary printing presses, printing speeds have been significantly increased with the aim of improving printing efficiency, but on the other hand, despite improvements in ink, the time required for drying of ink transferred to the paper surface continues to increase. Despite the significant shortening, the amount of ink that piles up on guide rollers, turn bars, etc. that come into contact with the paper surface on which the ink is not yet dry tends to increase as the speed of printing progresses.

For example, as a countermeasure for guide rollers and turning pars, there are examples of providing unevenness on the surface of the guide roller to reduce the contact area on the printing surface as shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 36-22312, and Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 39-22312. No. 12514, Jitko No. 39-26949, Jitko No. 4'? -42087, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 53-1344g, etc., where gas is blown from the circumferential surface of a guide roller or turn bar to guide the printed surface so that it does not come into contact with the roller or turn bar; According to the trenches, turn bars are listed in the "Printing Encyclopedia" (Ministry of Finance Printing Bureau, published November 10, 1978, No. 3).
As described on page 235 of the printing press, in addition to the means for blowing out the gas, by rotating the bar little by little,
As shown in Figure 6, when the bar is in a fixed state, the contact point on the upstream side in the running direction of the paper is shown on the bar circumferential surface where ink piling is likely to occur, and on the downstream side as shown in Figure 6. There is an example in which the contact points are gradually shifted and the slight pile of ink that occurs is scraped off with paper.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the above-mentioned conventional examples, countermeasures for the guide rollers and turn bars include minimizing the chances of the printed surface coming into contact with the guide rollers and turn bars, reducing the contact area, or piling. Although it is possible to reduce ink piling in this conventional example, it is impossible to eliminate it completely, and in the end, printing Workers had to wipe it down after the operation was completed. Guide rollers and turn bars are located at high places, the above work is dangerous, and there are a large number of them, so
It takes a long time to work, and since the paper gets in the way during the wiping process, it has to be cut and then threaded through the paper again after the wiping process, resulting in operational waste.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned problems, and is capable of cleaning ink piled on the surface of each member on the paper threading path in a short time after the printing process is completed. Furthermore, the present invention aims to provide a cleaning method and device for a rotary printing press that can improve work safety and work efficiency without requiring workers to do dirty work in dangerous positions. The method is to impregnate the paper with a cleaning liquid and run it along the paper threading path, then stop impregnating the paper with the washing liquid and run the paper that is not impregnated with the cleaning liquid through the paper threading path.

Function: In the cleaning method and apparatus for a rotary printing press described above, after printing is completed, the rotary printing press is operated at an inching speed with the paper threaded through it, and a cleaning liquid is applied to the running paper using a cleaning liquid impregnating means. The paper is impregnated with the cleaning liquid and runs, supplying the necessary and sufficient amount of cleaning liquid to the guide rollers, turn bars, and even the blanket cylinder in the impression cylinder. Then, the paper is impregnated with the cleaning liquid. By continuing to run the paper with the paper stopped, the cleaning liquid releases ink piled on the circumferential surfaces of the guide roller, turn bar, impression cylinder, blanket cylinder, etc., and then wipes it with the paper. and complete cleaning of the piled ink on each part.

The paper 1 impregnated with the cleaning liquid by the above operation reaches the folding part C through the same path as during printing, so during this time, the bracket 2.2, the guide roller 4, 4, . . .
A cleaning liquid is supplied to the curved portion of the turner 5 and the like. Then, the cleaning liquid impregnating means 10° 10' impregnates the paper l with the cleaning liquid, the blanket cylinder 2.2, the guide rollers 4, 4. . . . as much as is necessary and sufficient for the peripheral surface of the turner 5, etc., that is, the blanket cylinder 2.2 and the guide rollers 4, 4. ......, the ink piled on the curved parts of the turner 5 etc. can be released from these curved parts and floated in the cleaning solution until enough cleaning solution is supplied, and the supply of the cleaning solution is necessary. When a sufficient amount of washing is completed, impregnation of the paper 1 with the washing liquid by the washing liquid impregnating means 10 and IO' is stopped. At this time, the cleaning liquid impregnating means 10 shown in FIG.
03 can be fixed by swinging from the position in contact with the paper 1 to the standby position, and the cleaning liquid impregnating means 10' shown in FIG.
Now, it is sufficient to stop spraying the cleaning liquid by the nozzle +06.

Thereafter, continuous wiping is performed using paper 1 that is not impregnated with cleaning liquid, and the impression cylinders, blanket cylinders 2, guide rollers 4, 4, . . . . etc. is carried out immediately after the printing operation is completed, and the cleaning work is carried out in a short period of time, which is consistent with this printing process. can be done. Moreover, since the wiping work by the worker is eliminated, the worker is no longer required to do dirty work in a dangerous position, and significant effects can be obtained in terms of work safety, work efficiency, etc.

On the other hand, according to the apparatus for carrying out the above-mentioned cleaning method, the structure is simply that the paper running along the paper threading path is impregnated with the cleaning liquid, so the structure is simple, the manufacturing cost is low, and the paper is easy to clean. Since it can be freely installed at any suitable position near the paper threading route or upstream of the paper threading route of the part to be cleaned, adjustment, inspection, and maintenance are extremely easy and the device is fully effective. It has great effects not only in terms of work, but also in terms of management, such as being able to extend the life span of the equipment and prolonging the life of the equipment.
