Description

The invention relates to a printing press cylinder cleaning cloth and a Printing machine cylinder cleaning device for such a cleaning cloth according to claim 1 and claim 9.

A cleaning cloth and a cleaning device of this type are from the EP 0 730 960 A2 known. The cloth contains at least one marking, which is detected by a sensor and indicates that the cloth end soon is reached. The marking can be a magnetic tape, a metal strip non-metallic stripe, a color stripe or the like, which inductively, capacitively, electromagnetically or photoelectrically. Automatic cleaning devices with a cleaning cloth, in particular a washcloth, are also from US 43 44 361 and DE 44 42 412 C2 known. Furthermore, DE 197 21 213 A1 describes a device known for cleaning paper guide rollers, in which one through a Rotary printing machine with running paper web for the cleaning process Cleaning start and end information in the form of holes or is provided with a bar code that indicates the start and end of the Trigger cleaning process. To clean the paper guide rollers, the Paper web moistened and the difference in speed between the Paper web and the paper guide roller to be cleaned generated.

The cleaning device known from US 43 44 361 contains one Cleaning cloth transport device through which a cleaning cloth from a cleaning cloth spindle via a pressing device for pressing a Cloth section against the cylinder surface to be cleaned on a Dirty cloth spindle is transportable. Has a water supply facility a variety of nozzles that pour water onto a washcloth section between the cleaning cloth spindle and the pressing device on the Spray the washcloth side on which the pressure device is also located located. This is the side facing away from the cylinder surface to be cleaned Cloth side. The washcloth is on the clean cloth roll in a dry Status. The cleaning cloth is always during Printing interruptions are pressed against the rotating cylinder surface.

It is also known from practice to use a damp detergent store pre-moistened washcloth on the clean cloth spindle. The washcloth is already moistened by the washcloth supplier, which delivers the wet washcloth as a washcloth roll. To deliver and Storage, before and after delivery, the towel roll must be packed airtight so that the damp detergent does not evaporate.

DE-A-36 31 937 shows a web material with a machine-readable Coding, depending on which a pattern from the web material can be cut out by machine.

The new invention relates to both dry and wet cleaning wipes and washcloths.
The spindles can be hollow or made of solid material. The drive device of the dirty cloth spindle can contain an electric motor, for example a stepper motor, but according to a preferred embodiment has instead a pneumatically (or electrically) operated plunger, the linear movements of which drive the dirty cloth spindle. Devices are known for this, by means of which the rotation angle steps of the dirty cloth spindle can be changed automatically in such a way that the intermittent feed distances of the cleaning cloth are always approximately the same size, regardless of the diameter of the cleaning cloth roll.

The cleaning cloth and the cleaning device are particularly suitable for cleaning blanket cylinders from offset printing machines but can be used for any type of press cylinder.

To keep the printing machine downtime for the cleaning process It is to avoid an unfavorable time for the printing operation desirable to recognize if there is only a limited length of residual cloth for the cleaning processes is available. For this it is from DE 295 07 134 U1 known, the outer circumference of the cleaning cloth roll by one on it sliding spoon-like feelers and automatically a signal generate when only a predetermined on the cleaning cloth spindle Remaining length of cleaning cloth is available and therefore the soon end of the cloth the cleaning cloth roll is imminent. This gives you the opportunity to Replace cleaning cloth at a time when one Interruption of printing is the least disruptive. This Measurement method is inaccurate and fluctuates e.g. B. depending on the Winding density and the moisture content of the cleaning cloth roll as well as the Diameter of the spindle used for the cleaning cloth roll.

When using cleaning wipes, which predetermined criteria are not there is a risk of poor cleaning quality and thus the Danger of deterioration in the printing press operation Print quality committee is produced. There is a need here to be able to determine subsequently from which supplier that Cleaning cloth comes from.

Cleaning wipes can be a woven or knitted fabric or a non-woven fabric or similar material. However, it must be in for a good cleanability Printing presses. For printing inks, printing ink oil, Solvents, fountain solution for offset printing, paper dust, etc. be qualified.

The object of the invention is to achieve cleaning wipes as well the cleaning device in which they are used for cleaning Printing press cylinders are used to train such that not only a measure indicating the soon end of the cloth is possible, but that any kind of information and any amount of information can be provided, the use of the cleaning device make it cheaper, safer and more effective. One should Possibility to be created with which the remaining cloth length and / or the already used cloth length can be determined exactly at any time, too when cleaning cloth rolls with different spindle diameters or different cloth lengths can be used.

This object is achieved according to the invention by Features of claim 1 and of claim 9 solved.

According to the invention, coding is not provided, which is merely a start or an end of a cloth or at the beginning or end of one Indicates cloth and the user must know how much residual cloth length is still there, but the coding according to the invention is on or in the cleaning cloth formed by markings, the design of one machine-readable, complete information content. So it won't just pointed out, for example, that "soon" a cloth end is imminent, instead, the actual length of the fabric is given. Another For example, the name or a sign of the Cloth manufacturer, the date of the cloth production, the type of cloth (dry, damp, type of fabric) and the like. So a user does not need to know what a particular label or coding "means" but the meaning is conveyed directly through the cleaning device or whose reading device is displayed in an optical display device in the form of concrete lengths, numbers or words.

The invention has the advantages that any amount of information in the cloth can be saved and it is a very precise, direct information system is. In contrast, e.g. B. in the known systems Remaining length only indirectly by a mark or by scanning the Diameter of the cleaning cloth roll or by total addition of Wash cloth conveyor steps recognizable.

The coding is preferably a binary code. The coding contains preferably a variety of specific lengths along the Cleaning cloth. This will not only go along in a variety of places the cleaning cloth both the used cloth length and the respective remaining remaining cloth length recognizable, but it is also the respective used section of cloth definable.

Further features of the invention are contained in the subclaims.

The pressing device 6 can have a cleaning section 16 of the Cleaning cloth 10 on the cylinder surface 18 of a to be cleaned Press press cylinder 20 for a cleaning phase and then Let it back away from the cylinder surface so that it is then spaced from each other to the cleaning cloth during a cleaning break 10 by a predetermined distance which the cleaning section 16 includes further transport. This means that the cleaning cloth 10 is gradually transported by the drive device 8. deviant of these, embodiments are also possible in which the Cleaning cloth 10 is transported and / or transported continuously, without being lifted off the cylinder surface 18 for this purpose.

The printing press cylinder 20 rotates in during the cleaning phase Direction of rotation 22, which is preferably on the pressing device 6 down is directed. The direction of movement 24 of the cleaning cloth 10 in the gap between the pressing device 6 and the printing press cylinder 20 is preferably directed upwards. This will cause a Dirt particles from the cylinder surface 18 or the cleaning cloth 10 prevented. Transferred from the cylinder surface 18 to the cleaning cloth 10 Dirt is wrapped in the wipe roll 14.

The cleaning cloth 10 is preferably moist when it is on the Pressure device 6 runs up. This humidification can be done in a known manner by spraying water 26 or a water solution through a Spray device 28 take place. Instead, or in addition, it can Cleaning cloth 10 already pre-moistened on the cleaning cloth roll 12, preferably with a detergent. The sprayer 28 or one on other type trained humidifier can be on the same Cloth side like the pressing device 6 or on the side facing away from it outer cloth side.

According to the invention is a code reading device 30 for reading a machine-readable coding between the cleaning cloth spindle 2 and the Pressing device 6 arranged to a on the cleaning cloth 10th intended to read machine-readable coding.

The code reading device 30 can be based on a reflection method or a Continuous process or work by another known method. 1, a transmitter-receiver unit is sufficient for a reflection method 32 on only one side of the cleaning cloth 10. This can be done with Daylight or infrared or electromagnetic waves 40 or after one another principle work to get the coding on the cleaning cloth 10 read.

Bei einem Durchgangsverfahren nach Fig. 2 benötigt die Codelesevorrichtung 30 auf einer Seite des Reinigungstuches 10 einen Sender 36 und auf der davon abgewandten Tuchseite einen Empfänger 38 für sichtbare Lichtstrahlen, Infrarotlichtstrahlen oder elektromagnetische Wellen 40 oder andere Mittel, welche zum Lesen der Codierung des Reinigungstuches 10 durch dieses Reinigungstuch hindurchgehen.2 requires the code reading device 30 on one side of the cleaning cloth 10 a transmitter 36 and on the a receiver 38 for visible light rays facing away from the cloth side thereof, Infrared light rays or electromagnetic waves 40 or other means, which for reading the coding of the cleaning cloth 10 by this Pass the cleaning cloth through.

The coding of the cleaning cloth 10 can be detected by color electromagnetic means or through holes or other markings in or be performed on the cleaning cloth 10.

The coding can be a "parallel coding" with several across Direction of movement 24 of the cleaning cloth 10 arranged Coding elements 40, 41, 42, etc., corresponding to Fig. 3, which of the Code reader 30 can be read at the same time, if they are on this be moved past.

According to FIG. 4, the coding can also be a “serial coding” according to FIG. 4 in which the coding elements 44, 45, 46 etc. in the direction of movement 24 of the cleaning cloth 10 are arranged one behind the other and therefore can be read successively from the code reading device 30.

Of course, several parallel codes can be used in succession be arranged so that you have a combination of parallel and serial Has encodings. The code reading device 30 is designed accordingly.

The coding of the cleaning cloth 10 can be done in a known manner so-called bar code, such as that of price labels from Products is known.

If the coding of the cleaning cloth 10 in the punched holes 40, 41, 42, 44, 45, 46 consists of the cleaning cloth 10, then they form Holes individualized hole patterns, each hole pattern a specific one Information forms.

The coding is carried out by means of one or more sensors (receivers) Code reading device 30 recognized and sent to a control device 49 Cleaning device or a control device of the printing press passed on and processed there and / or for control processes used. This means that e.g. also recognized and preferably also be registered: at which longitudinal points of the Certain operating conditions have occurred, e.g. Washing times, Cylinder drying times, special pollution levels, Business interruptions, scheduled or different Business. This enables diagnostic values and statistical values to be created and malfunctions are corrected in good time before damage occurs.

The information read by the code reading device 30 Cleaning cloth 10 can instead or additionally by a Indication device 50 converted into an optical or acoustic signal become.

Codes can be attached to or on the cleaning cloth at the beginning of the cloth be, e.g. about the type of cleaning cloth, the manufacturer of the Cleaning cloth, the place and date of manufacture, a Quality markings, furthermore markings over usable or in the cloth types of detergent already contained by pre-moistening, for example whether it is vegetable or chemical detergent or a specific one Detergent type is from a particular supplier, and other information.

Die Codierung ist vorzugsweise als Binär-Code ausgelegt. The coding is preferably designed as a binary code.

According to a particular feature of the invention, the whole Length of the cleaning cloth provided length markings, which you can see how much clean cloth has already been used and / or how much there is still a clean cloth on the cleaning cloth spindle. So that is recognizable whether there is a marking when the cloth feed is started again was skipped, for example during maintenance work. Thus, a manually skipping a marker or not measuring one Length of cloth does not cause damage, especially not that Cleaning cloth is used up before a cleaning process is completed.

The coding is preferably in one or in both edge areas of the Cleaning cloth 10 attached, but can also be centered or asymmetrical be arranged.

If the coding consists of holes, the code reading device 30 contains a so-called "paper tape reader". For punching the holes in the Cleaning cloth 10 so-called punch tape punch can be used.

According to a preferred embodiment, the cleaning cloth 10 is provided with one or more machine-readable codes 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46 distributed over its entire length. The coding can be a bar code.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the coding of the cleaning cloth 10 contains a “user authorization” (pass word), by means of which the cleaning cloth can only be used in a cleaning device that is set to this coding.

"Maschinell lesbar" bedeutet hier durch ein Lesegerät oder durch einen Sensor lesbar."Machine readable" here means by a reader or by a sensor readable.

B. 1m, 2m, 3m etc., name or sign of the cloth manufacturer, date of Cloth production, cloth type, for example the type of cloth of the cleaning cloth, its moisture content, other additives in the cleaning cloth such as for example detergent and the like. Here, "coding" means not scanning a single marker, e.g. B. dash or dot on the Cloth at a predetermined cloth location if that dash or dot is not itself provides a statement, even if the predetermined position is one when this marking is detected by a sensor, the length of the Route is known.

Holes in the cleaning cloth or color markings used as coding on or in the cleaning cloth or areas of different Cloth material densities in the cleaning cloth can according to the invention their shape and / or their size, seen in the level of the cleaning cloth, each form machine-readable information themselves and / or in combination with one or more additional codes. For example circular, triangular, quadrangular, pentagonal, etc. n-square holes, Color markings or cloth density differences depending on themselves and / or in Combination with one or more other codes one machine Form readable information that can be displayed on a display device.

The cleaning cloth 10 is preferably provided with code marks, e.g. B. with holes and / or color markings and / or different Cloth material densities, each individually due to their size and / or form a machine-readable information content due to their shape.

Additionally or alternatively, the cleaning cloth 10 with code markings be provided, of which a group of at least two Code marks form a machine-readable information content, whereby the code markings in particular holes and / or color markings and / or different cloth material densities.
