Definitions
- the invention relates to a nozzle guard, in particular for one High pressure washer, to protect a nozzle at the end of one pressurized medium carrying line, a pipe, a lance or the like.
- Pressure washers become industrial and private for cleaning of dirty surfaces in buildings, of machines, of Motor vehicles etc. used. Via a nozzle-equipped lance water or other cleaning fluid with high Sprayed pressure. Improper handling can damage the nozzle or a bracket damaged or worn for this. against this background is the use of a nozzle guard known from stainless steel.
- the nozzle is in the lance or in special connector screwed in and is fast Way interchangeable.
- a visible area of the nozzle is wearing usually a marking with the specification of the nozzle type.
- the object of the invention is an improved nozzle protection to create for a pressure washer.
- the nozzle protection according to the invention - also for a rotor nozzle - is characterized by an at least partial production made of abrasion-resistant rubber.
- abrasion-resistant rubber Surprisingly, certain are Types of rubber much more abrasion-resistant than, for example Stainless steel. In any case, this affects the abrasion Floors, tiles, tiles or concrete.
- highly abrasion-resistant rubber has an essential longer service life.
- rubber is hygienically sensitive Can be used in areas and prevents damage to Surfaces.
- the rubber preferably has a hardness of approximately 40 to 60 Shore on.
- the rubber can also be made of NBR. or nitrile rubber (Butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber), made of SBR (styrene-butadiene rubber) or be made of natural rubber.
- nitrile rubber butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber
- SBR styrene-butadiene rubber
- natural rubber styrene-butadiene rubber
- a connection of the rubber with the is particularly advantageous Nozzle or with a part receiving the nozzle by vulcanization.
- the nozzle guard is made entirely of rubber vulcanized onto the nozzle or the part.
- the emerging Connection is almost insoluble. Even liquid residues can not between the nozzle guard and the nozzle or part crawl. Use in areas sensitive to hygiene remains possible.
- the nozzle guard is preferably provided with a nozzle holder Sleeve connected by vulcanization.
- the sleeve is in the Nozzle protection integrated.
- the sleeve is on its circumference - especially in the area not provided with rubber - with a Provide holder for a tool, in particular with a Hexagon for holding a corresponding twisting tool.
- the sleeve can be easily screwed onto a lance. There is also a good hold for a counter tool when screwing in the nozzle into a corresponding internal thread of the sleeve.
- a steel insert is preferably embedded in the rubber. This increases the strength of the nozzle protection against sudden Actions. Breakage of the rubber is prevented.
- the deposit can be adapted to the cone shape of the rubber jacket and over the entire surface to be surrounded by rubber.
- a rotor nozzle is preferably vulcanized by one Coat made of rubber or by a sprayed on thermoplastic material, preferably Evoprene, protected.
- the nozzle housing is under the wear-resistant one Coating made of brass or stainless steel. Without the mentioned Coating would use the case in no time have impairing signs of abrasion.
- the rubber or the thermoplastic material has a hardness from 40 to 60 shore or more.
- a nozzle guard 10 consists of a conical jacket 11 and a sleeve 12 or a nipple.
- the sleeve 12 is in Area of a front end 13 inserted a nozzle, not shown.
- the sleeve 12 is provided with an internal thread 14, that extends over the entire length of the sleeve and that also a not shown external thread of a lance Pressure washer takes up.
- the sleeve 12 provides the link between the nozzle and the lance.
- the jacket 11 is made of highly abrasion-resistant rubber, in particular from NBR.
- the jacket 11 is vulcanized onto the sleeve 12 and over about 3/5 the length of the sleeve 12 near the front End 13. In this area, the sleeve 12 has an outer circumferential Tooth 15 on. This results in a particularly intimate one Contact with the vulcanized rubber. A tear off the Coat 11 is made much more difficult.
- the sleeve 12 is made of stainless steel or stainless steel and is also hygienic together with the rubber coat sensitive areas.
- a free end 16 of the sleeve 12 is provided with a hexagon 17.
- the jet direction of the cleaning liquid is one Arrow 18 indicated.
- At the exit end 13 of the Sleeve 12 closes it flush with an inside end face 19 of the jacket 11.
- a reinforcement 20 can be incorporated into the jacket 11. This is indicated in Fig. 1 only on one side (right) and preferably extends completely circumferentially within the Jacket 11, either as a conical sleeve or as appropriate shaped finite strip. Preferably there is the reinforcement made of sheet steel or is a tubular steel laminate. In the direction of arrow 18, the reinforcement 20 covers the Sleeve 12 partially without being connected to it.
- the combination made of sheet steel reinforcement with a full envelope Rubber jacket 11 gives great durability against mechanical Loads of all kinds.
- the surface of the jacket 11 abrasion-resistant rubber increases the service life of the nozzle protection 10 in total.
- the length of the towards the Arrow 18 widening jacket 11 is dimensioned so that the Covered sleeve 12 and the (not shown) in the sleeve 12th inserted nozzle is covered on the side. This will not only the nozzle is protected against mechanical influences. Can too Damage to sensitive surfaces from the nozzle and the Sleeve can be prevented.
- the jacket 11 forms an over this the inner end face 19 in the direction of the beam (arrow 18) projecting cone region 21, the length of which in the direction of Arrow 18 is slightly longer than one connected to the sleeve 12 Area 22 of the jacket 11.
- the rotor nozzle 23 relates to a so-called rotor nozzle 23 a rotating housing made of brass or stainless steel 24 Nozzle body on which is a punctiform and at the same time circular traveling beam is generated.
- the exact structure of the Inner life of the rotor nozzle is for the present invention of minor interest and therefore not shown in detail.
- the rotor nozzle 23 is also made of wear-resistant protection Rubber.
- a thermoplastic material e.g. Evoprene can be provided.
- the rubber is called a jacket Cover 25 vulcanized onto the housing 24. In the This is made with thermoplastic material preferably sprayed onto the housing 24.
- the casing 25 extends over the entire housing 24, also in the area of a conical area 26 of the housing and in front of an outlet opening 27. There is only one small passage for the water jet free.
- the invention relates to all types of Nozzles for high pressure cleaners that have nozzle protection can or for which a nozzle protection or a protective layer is sensible and advantageous.
