Definitions

  • the invention relates to a storage and transport container according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Containers of this type are increasingly being used in transport and storage systems in returnable or pool systems in order to reduce transport costs for returning empty containers and to reduce the number of interfaces in the transport chain.
  • the storage and transport containers are designed according to the rotary stacking principle, according to which two equally aligned containers can be stacked one on top of the other and two oppositely aligned containers can be nested one inside the other. There are various designs for this.
  • the side walls must be conical at least in the lower half, which is at the expense of volume.
  • the already reduced volume can only be used insufficiently due to the taper in prismatic general cargo. This increases the cost of storage and transportation.
  • the conical side walls are also not very load and load-bearing, which means that they can only be stacked to a limited extent. This also increases the cost of storage and transportation.
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of a container with half the base area
  • Fig. 7 partial view and partial section of a side wall with transponder patch panel
  • Fig. 8 partial view and partial section of a side wall with another transponder patch panel.
  • the storage and transport container has a bottom wall 1, two opposite long side walls 2 and two also opposite short side walls 3. All side walls 2 and 3 are offset in half height with their upper halves outwards in such a way that an inner contact edge 4 and an outer circumferential one Touching edge 5 exists.
  • the outer edge 5 has a larger width compared to the inner contact edge. While the outer surfaces of the lower half of the side wall 3 have a slight taper, the outer surfaces of the upper halves are oriented vertically.
  • the inner surface of the side wall 2 is also perpendicular to the bottom wall 1.
  • Each side wall 3 is equipped in its lower half on the outside with two individually attached feet 6 and each side wall 2 with two double feet 7.
  • the feet 6 and 7 are each arranged at a certain distance from one another and each with a certain distance from the center, the center distances of the feet 6 of the two opposite side walls 3 and the center distances of the feet 7 of the two opposite side walls 2 being the same size and are each directed to the same adjacent side wall 2 or 3.
  • All feet 6 and 7 have vertically standing and slightly recessed outer edges with respect to the upper halves of the side walls and are equipped at their bottom ends with a detent spring 8 each.
  • Each side wall 3 has in its upper halves two individual and vertical standing grooves 9 which are matched in their dimensions and in their arrangement to the individual outer feet 6 of the same side wall 3.
  • Each side wall 2 also has in its upper halves two internal double standing grooves 10 which, in the same way as described for the standing grooves 9, are matched to the double external standing feet 7 of the same side wall 2.
  • Each of the two doubles Stand grooves 9 are separated by a vertical inner web 11.
  • the upper halves of all side walls 2 and 3 are predominantly profiled on the outside and equipped with horizontal and vertical stabilizing bars. Accordingly, there is a circumferential and flattened upper edge 12 on all side walls 2 and 3.
  • latching grooves 13 on the short side walls 3 in the immediate vicinity of the feet 6 and standing grooves 9 running in the same vertical direction, namely on the respective sides facing the distant side walls 2.
  • the length of these latching grooves 13 depends on the dimensions the detent springs 8 of the feet 6 determined.
  • long locking grooves 14 On the long side walls 2 are in the same arrangement, but with a junction with the adjacent standing groove 10, long locking grooves 14, the length of which is aligned with the entire width of the double feet 7 and thus with the dimensions of the double locking springs 8 .
  • the long locking grooves 14, which lie between the two double standing grooves 10, not only open into these standing grooves 10, but extend beyond them.
  • the inner webs 11 located in this area are lowered in height by the depth dimension of the locking grooves 14.
  • the upper edges 12 of the long side walls 2 also each have double locking grooves 15, which in a certain way between the inner long locking groove 14 and the distant double standing groove 10 each side wall 2 lie.
  • the arrangement and the dimensions of these double locking grooves 15 are matched to the individual feet of a storage and transport container from the same family with half a base area.
  • the double design of the locking grooves 15 and the long locking grooves 14 in connection with the lowered inner webs 11 enable stacking with these smaller containers in either of the two possible orientations.
  • the bottom wall 1 of the storage and transport container is double-walled.
  • the underside of the bottom wall 1 is equipped with a circumferential outer catwalk 16 and two crosswise inner catwalks 17, so that there are four symmetrically arranged recesses 18.
  • These recesses 18 have, the side walls 2 and 3 facing, transport edges 19 for abutment of manipulation elements.
  • the storage and transport container also has on the outer surface of each side wall 2 and 3 and the bottom wall 1 each a patch panel 20 for a mobile transponder in credit card format.
  • These patch panels 20 can be shaped differently.
  • the patch panels 20 are designed as indentations with shapes and dimensions placed on the transponder. These bulges have on the one hand holding elements 21 and on the other hand a limited flexible locking element 22. As a stop and to secure against an overload of this locking element 22 is expediently provided a support element 23 which can be elongated and can be oriented in different ways. It is also expedient to attach two parallel spacer webs 24 as spacers to the container wall.
  • one or two rigid latching elements 21 are used instead of the flexible ones, which are primarily overcome by the flexibility of the transponder.
  • a recessed grip 25 is additionally introduced.
  • both containers are aligned in the same way, so that all outer feet 6 and 7 overlap with the corresponding grooves 9 and 10. In this position, the second container can be lowered halfway into the first container.
  • the second container For stacking, for example in the filled state, the second container is rotated through 180 °, that is to say oriented in the opposite direction, and placed on the first container. In this position, the feet 6 and 7 of the second container sit on the upper edge 12 of the first container, the latching springs 8 of the feet 6 and 7 engaging in the corresponding latching grooves 13 and 14 and ensuring a secure stand for the second container.
  • the two smaller containers are placed across the top edge 12 of the first larger container in any direction.
  • the latching springs 8 of the individual feet 6 snap into one of the double latching grooves 15 and into the latching grooves 14.
  • a base 6 of one of the two smaller containers is placed on the respective inner web 11.
