Dabei besteht die Gefahr, daß die Schmiermittelversorgung der Brennkraftmaschine unter Umständen nicht ausreichende Ölmengen aus dem Kreislauf zur Verfügung hat. Wird ein derartiger Zylinderkopf beispielsweise in Längsrichtung des Kraftfahrzeuges eingebaut, sammelt sich entweder bei Beschleunigung oder Verzögerung das Öl auf der der Pumpe abgewandten Seite des Zylinderkopfes.
