Claims (6)

  1. Dichtung, die dazu vorgesehen ist, eine Lücke zwischen einerseits einem an einem Fahrzeugmotor (1) um einen Kühllüfter (2) montierten Lüfterring (4) und andererseits einem Lüftergehäuse (6) auf der Seite eines zum Fahrzeugmotor gehörenden Kühlers (3) zu schließen, die dem Kühllüfter zugewandt ist, wobei die Dichtung (8) kreisförmig ist und an einem ihrer Enden einen Befestigungsabschnitt (9) zum Anbringen am Lüfterring aufweist, die Dichtung (8) auch einen Flanschabschnitt (10) aufweist, der mit dem Befestigungsabschnitt verbindet, sich in der Richtung weg vom Befestigungsabschnitt weitet und auf seiner Innenseite in bezug auf das Lüftergehäuse (6) abdichten soll, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dichtung (8) zumindest einen Finger (12) hat, der sich über den Umfang des Flanschabschnitts (10) hinaus erstreckt und für einen Kontakt mit dem Lüftergehäuse (6) vorgesehen ist, um die Dichtung (8) in bezug auf das Lüftergehäuse (6) in Position zu halten, auch wenn der Flanschabschnitt (10) seinen Dichtungskontakt mit dem Lüftergehäuse (6) verloren hat, wodurch der Dichtung ermöglicht wird zu öffnen, wenn es eine vorbestimmte gegenseitige Verschiebung zwischen der Dichtung (8) und dem Lüftergehäuse (6) gibt, um dadurch einen Unterdruck in der Luftleitung zu reduzieren, in der die Dichtung (8) eine Abgrenzung bildet, während gleichzeitig die Form der Dichtung (8) im wesentlichen genauso beibehalten wird, als ob die Dichtung geschlossen ist.
  2. Dichtung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Dichtung (8) mehr als einen Finger (12) aufweist.
  3. Dichtung nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder Finger (12) eine Verlängerung einer jeweiligen radial ausgerichteten Verstärkung (11) bildet, die auf dem Flanschabschnitt (10) angeordnet ist.
  4. Dichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mehrere, mit je einem Finger versehene Verstärkungen (11) in gegenseitigen Abständen in einer Gruppe auf der Außenseite des Flanschabschnitts (10) angeordnet sind.
  5. Dichtung nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verstärkungen (11) mit dem Flanschabschnitt (10) einstückig geschaffen und rippenförmig sind.
  6. Dichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 1 - 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie aus einem elastischen Material, vorteilhafterweise Gummi, hergestellt ist.
