Claims (12)
- Verfahren zum Verpacken von im wesentlichen quaderförmigen Stapeln (2) bestehend aus flächigen Gegenständen, insbesondere aus Zeitungen oder Zeitschriften, wobei die Stapel (2) nacheinander der Verpackung zugefördert werden, in einem ersten Verpackungsschritt mit einer verschweissbaren Folie (3) derart umhüllt werden, dass die Folie (3) die Oberseite, die Unterseite und zwei senkrechte Seiten der Stapel bedeckt und die Folie (3) die bedeckten Stapelseiten beidseitig überragt, und in einem zweiten Verpackungsschritt die Stapel (2) in einer Umreifungsposition positioniert und gepresst werden, wobei Stapel mit einer Stapelhöhe (d.1), die grösser ist als eine vorgegebene Grenzstapelhöhe, umreift und Stapel mit einer Stapelhöhe (d.2), die kleiner ist als die vorgegebene Grenzstapelhöhe, wahlweise umreift oder nicht umreift und durch Verschweissen der die Stapeloberseite und die Stapelunterseite überragenden Folienbereiche (3.1) verpackt werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verpackung durch Verschweissen in der Umreifungsstation und gleichzeitig mit der gegebenenfalls durchgeführten Umreifung durchgeführt wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stapelhöhe (d.1, d.2) der zugeförderten Stapel (2) sensorisch erfasst wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die überragenden Folienbereiche (3.1) in einer Mehrzahl von Schweissstellen (5) miteinander verschweisst werden.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stapel (2) in einer Förderrichtung (F) parallel zur Folienumhüllung in die Umreifungsposition zugefördert und im zweiten Verpackungsschritt durch Umreifung quer zur Folienumhüllung und/oder durch Verschweissung auf ihren parallel zur Förderrichtung (F) angeordneten Seiten verpackt werden.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stapel (2) in einer Förderrichtung (F) quer zur Folienumhüllung in die Umreifungsposition zugefördert und im zweiten Verpackungsschritt durch Umreifung quer oder parallel zur Folienumhüllung und/oder durch Verschweissung auf ihren vor- und nachlaufenden Seiten verpackt werden.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass den Stapeln (2), die in der Umreifungsposition zu umreifen sind, vor oder mit der Umreifung ein Deckblatt (16) zugegeben wird.
- Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, welche Vorrichtung Fördermittel zur Zuförderung eines seriellen Stapelstromes und zur Wegförderung eines seriellen Paketstromes aufweist sowie Umhüllungsmittel zum Umhüllen von zugeförderten Stapeln (2) mit einer Folie (3), Pressmittel (11) zum Pressen von umhüllten Stapeln, Umreifungsmittel (10) zum Umreifen von gepressten Stapeln, Schweissmittel (12) zum Verschweissen von die Stapeloberseite und die Stapelunterseite überragenden Folienbereichen (3.1) und Steuermittel, durch die mindestens die Schweissmittel (12) abhängig von der Stapelhöhe (d.1, d.2) steuerbar sind, wobei die Pressmittel (11) und die Umreifungsmittel (10) in einer Umreifungsposition angeordnet sind, dadurch gekennzeichnert, dass die Schweissmittel (12) in derselben Umreifungsposition angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Schweissmittel (12) an den Pressmitteln (11) angeordnet sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Pressmittel (11) auf- und ab- bewegbare Pressbalken (11.1, 11.2) vorgesehen sind, die beidseitig vom Umreifungsmittel (10) angeordnet sind, und dass die Schweissmittel (12) an den Pressbalken (11.1, 11.2) derart angeordnet sind, dass sie mit den Pressbalken (11.1, 11.2) auf beiden Seiten eines zu verpackenden Stapels oder vor und hinter einem zu verpakenden Stapel (2) gegen eine Stapelauflage (14) absenkbar sind.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass als Schweissmittel (12) eine Mehrzahl von Schweissköpfen vorgesehen sind.
- Vorrichtung nach einem der Ansprüche 7 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie zusätzlich einen Kanal-förmigen Deckblatthalter (15) aufweist, der derart angeordnet ist, dass ein im Deckblatthalter (15) positioniertes Deckblatt (16) durch das Pressmittel (11) oder durch das Umreifungsband (4) aus dem Deckblatthalter ziehbar ist.
- Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckblatthalter (15) fest mit dem Pressmittel (11) verbunden und mit diesem bewegbar ist.
