Description

The invention relates to a container bridge according to the preamble of the first claim.
The container bridge can be used wherever many loading units have to be handled in a short time. The container bridge is particularly suitable for loading and unloading containers from ships into storage bins or onto means of transport with which they are transported.
From OS-DE 2 341 725 a gantry crane emerges in which two cats arranged one above the other can be moved against each other, the upper cat being movable on lanes which are below the cat and which is movable under lanes on lanes which are above the cat lie. The upper cat moves over the cat underneath, the load to be transported passing through the U-shaped lower trolley. So that the container of the upper trolley does not collide with the U-shaped lower trolley, a rotating mechanism must be present on the upper trolley so that the container can be rotated in the longitudinal direction to the direction of movement and passage through the lower trolley is possible. This rotating movement of each container costs equipment and, above all, time when loading the container.

Furthermore, the lanes of the cats are outside of this bridge crane Length of the container to be transported arranged. This has the disadvantage that Problems with the takeover / handover in the area of the ship bridge arise can, if the containers are stacked very far to the bridge.

From DE 43 07 254 A1 a load loading crane is known in which three cats on one Crane bridge are arranged, with two movable in their longitudinal direction Lifting units with a lifting mechanism arranged with a transfer unit for load exchange are. The transfer unit can move two-tier loads or containers, whereby it does not have a lifting unit itself. It is also possible that each movable lifting unit with lifting mechanism also passes through the transfer unit. Not however, it is possible that the cats with the hoist and container are jumbled drive through it, because the arrangement of their trolleys and their execution are not makes possible. This means that this load loading crane is not a device either present with several trolleys can work completely independently of each other with their load.

Document EP-A-0 318 264 discloses a container bridge consisting of consisting of two brackets, hoist, one track, at least one portal and at least two cats, each on the jib's own lanes proceed at the container bridge, with their paths crossing. However, the cats each drive on their own routes are arranged side by side, so that on a track on a Carrier always only one cat traffic, which means the container bridge must be designed relatively broad, which leads to an increased cost of materials leads.

It is therefore an object of the invention to develop a container bridge on which several trolleys can work largely independently of one another, with little expenditure of time and material, all trolleys being intended to be provided with a lifting device.
This object is achieved by a container bridge according to the characterizing part of the first or second claim. Subclaims represent advantageous embodiments of the invention.
The container bridge according to the invention, consisting of a two-armed gantry, a hoist, a chassis and at least one portal, the cats moving on the gantry's own lanes at the container bridge and crossing their paths. Starting from two cats whose lanes cross, it is advantageous if they move on both sides of their lanes.

According to the invention, the lanes of both cats are above the cats arranged. This has the advantage that the cats with their gripping devices Independently of each other, containers also crossways to the direction of travel can transport.

Both cats can therefore largely load and unload vehicles and storage spaces independently of one another, whereby each of the two cats can drive over and process the entire area of the container bridge.
It is furthermore advantageous that at least one side of the carrier projecting beyond the portal can be folded up. This is of particular advantage when container ships that land require it or when this area of the container bridge is not in use.

Another embodiment of the invention provides that the lanes of the cats run on both sides of a single beam. This version is especially for cases suitable where containers with low loads can be transported quickly.

Another embodiment of the invention provides that each cat can move on a different carrier.
It is advantageous to arrange the lanes of the cats within the container length of a transversely transported container. This means that the containers can be stacked very far up to the ship's bridge without any problems.

Figures 1 to 9 show the container bridge 4 according to the invention when handling from container 1 from ship 2 to land 3. Depending on the size of ship 2, you can several container cranes 4 are used at the same time. On land they are Container 1 further handled with means of transport 5.

The container bridge 4 moves over rails 6 and 1 embedded in the floor Running gear 7 parallel to the quay edge 8. To a water-side portal 9 and land-side Portal 10 with stiffening struts 11 is a two-armed driving beam 12 over Fasteners 13 attached. The water-side projecting beyond portal 9 Carrier 12 can be used to dock and undock the ships 2 via a joint 38 and Hoist 14 can be folded up with ropes 15 and pulleys 16.

The two cats 17 and 18 move on the drive carrier 12. Each cat is with everyone Equipment for longitudinal, lifting and gripping travel equipped. Every cat owns accordingly its own lane 19, 20, a longitudinal undercarriage 21, 22, a Energy supply 23, 24, a hoist 25, 26 with ropes 27, 28, a container Spreader 29, 30 and one cab 31, 32 for manual operation.

In the case of the cat 18, a lower part 33, two side parts 34 and deflection rollers 35 the rope 28 led to the spreader 30. The actual hoist 26 is divided into two grown next to the longitudinal chassis 22. To derive horizontal forces on the Side parts 34 are guide rollers 36 and guide rails 37 between the cat 18th and the chassis 12 is attached. This arrangement is a compact design emerged.

The unloading process takes place in the following way:
After the ship 2 is moored, the container bridge 4 is moved into position via the trolleys 7 for unloading the containers 1. With the spreader 27, the cat 17 (FIG. 4) takes over a container 1 from the ship 2 and pulls it into the uppermost end position of the cat 17. The container is thereby in a stable position, a swinging of the container 1 is prevented.

With the trolley 21 (Fig. 2), the cat 17 travels in the interior of the two-armed Carrier 12 in the space between the container bridge portal 9, 10. When reached this position is a signal to continue to the one already waiting, for example Cat 18 reported. Both cats move towards each other (Fig. 8), the cross takes place. The cat 18 travels in the outer area of the two-armed carrier 12 and with its tub-like lower part 33 and the side parts 34 bypasses the one with the Cat 17 container to be transported 1.

Both cats 17 and 18 continue their journey independently of one another (FIG. 5). to the Example the cat 17 to deliver the container 1 on land and the cat 18 to Inclusion of a container 1 in the ship or with simultaneous loading and Unloading to deliver a container 1.

The line of motion of the container 1 essentially runs on the cat 17 an upper line 37 and in the cat 18 on a lower line 39. The lower line 39 and the entire space below this line corresponds to that previously used Katz container bridge.

With the two-armed carriage 12, as shown in Figure 10, and the inside the carrier 12 running cat 17 can containers up to the side Interfering edges, e.g. B. ship bridges 40 are handled. At larger distances the second cat 18 can also be used here.

The method has the advantage that the container along the entire transport route the respective spreader remains connected, even if the routes of both Cross cats. Step inside the container bridge portals by crossing no additional moments or loads on the crane rails.

Furthermore, it is clear from Figure 10 that the fact that the lanes 19, 20 of the Cats 17, 18 are within the container length, particularly far from the Ship bridge 40 can be stacked up. Variants like the 11 can also be performed container bridge and 12.
