Definitions

  • the invention relates to a module and bar for tufting tools, in particular needle module and needle bar, in which the tufting tools have one end in a plate-shaped Base body of the module are cast, the length of which is a multiple corresponds to the center distance of the cast tufting tools and which is a flat, on a flat contact surface of the bar and at least one opening has, through which a fastening screw reach and into the bar can be screwed in.
  • the module base body has an opening, e.g. in Form a hole, through which a screw is passed.
  • an opening e.g. in Form a hole, through which a screw is passed.
  • a corresponding threaded hole is provided in the bar.
  • a bar with module is known, in which the module additionally has a stop bar and a vertically extending guide bar, which in a corresponding Groove engages in the needle bar.
  • the guide bar should align the module and center.
  • the mounting hole extends through the guide bar through it.
  • DE-GM 295 06 820 is already a bar with modules for tufting tools known in which a longitudinal groove is incorporated in the bar and each module with a protruding fitting engages in this groove so that the module is held against rotation is.
  • the module is to be fitted with a dowel screw or a hole in the Module surrounding ring-shaped collar that engages in the bar, in vertical and horizontal Direction can be recorded.
  • this module When installed, this module sits relatively securely against rotation, it must be in the correct position Installation in the longitudinal direction of the bar but fixed with a special fitting screw become. If no such fitting screw is used, it can be due to the considerable thread forces on the tools to move the module, albeit slightly, in Come along the bar. The shift turns into an uneven Structure of the goods made with the tools noticeable.
  • the invention is based, with simple means the modules or the task Design the bar so that a module is securely fixed in all directions.
  • the object is achieved in that the module on the bar in vertical direction with a first tongue and groove connection and in the horizontal direction fixed with a second tongue and groove connection and with the fastening screw is held non-positively towards the bar.
  • the arrangement can be carried out so that to form the first tongue and groove connection in the bar as well as in the module a continuous one horizontal longitudinal groove is provided and that a common in both longitudinal grooves Key engages.
  • the arrangement can also be carried out in a preferred manner according to the invention in such a way that a continuous horizontal to form the first tongue and groove connection in the bar Longitudinal groove introduced and on the module a horizontal protruding normal to its flat surface Molded is molded, which engages positively in the longitudinal groove of the bar.
  • the arrangement according to the invention can also be constructed such that a continuous horizontal to form the first tongue and groove connection in the module Longitudinal groove introduced and on the bar a normal projecting to its contact surface horizontal bar is formed, which engages positively in the longitudinal groove of the module.
  • the arrangement can also be designed such that the module has two longitudinal grooves separated from one another by a crosspiece that the crosspiece positively in a correlating recess in a longitudinal groove of the bar positively inserted key engages the areas between the recesses engage positively in the longitudinal grooves of the module.
  • To form the second tongue and groove connection according to the invention can also be based on provided by the horizontal longitudinal groove in the bar, transverse grooves and on the module at least one vertical bar running normal to the horizontal bar be integrally formed, which engages in a form-fitting manner in such a groove in the bar.
  • the arrangement can also be designed such that the module has a slot extending in the vertical direction, the width of the diameter corresponds to a fitting screw with which the module is attached to the bar.
  • the elongated hole can be both in this embodiment and in the embodiment with a fitting as a second tongue and groove connection to the upper edge of the module be open.
  • the grooves can be milled.
  • the module can be on the opposite side of the flat surface Side have a second flat surface on which the corresponding strips are molded are.
  • the module can then also be used in an arrangement rotated by 180 °.
  • molded strips are provided, these should preferably be worked out as a fit.
  • the strips can be molded onto the module using the injection molding process.
  • the invention has the advantage that the module is already inserted in all directions is fixed against displacement and rotation. A normal one can be used to hold onto the bar Screw connection can be used.
  • the drawings show a module with a base body 1. With its flat surface 2 the module rests on the contact surface 3 of a needle bar 4. The tufting needles 5 are with poured their pistons into the base body 1.
  • the base body 1 is with a bore 6 provided, through which a screw 7 is passed and with which the module on the Needle bar 4 can be held.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 there is a T-shaped on the base body 1 Molded, consisting of a horizontal web 8 and a vertical web 9 formed.
  • the horizontal web 8 is received by a longitudinal groove 10 in the needle bar 3.
  • the longitudinal groove 10 in a vertical extension between the longitudinal groove 10 and the lower edge 11 of the needle bar 4 vertically directed grooves 12 intended.
  • the module engages with the web 9 of the molding bar, which also runs vertically in such a groove 12 and is thus displaceable and twist-proof in five directions fixed.
  • the grooves in the needle bar are milled.
  • the webs 8 and 9 are worked as a fit for the grooves.
  • the module is attached to the needle bar 3 and is therefore also in the remaining sixth direction set. Even with high forces, there can be no displacement or twisting the module.
  • modules are exchanged without every adjustment measure by a new module the position of the replaced module taken again.
  • Figures 3-5 show a second variant of the invention.
  • a special feather key 13 is inserted, which with its bearing surface 3 protruding parts engages in two horizontal grooves 14 of the module.
  • Both grooves 14 start from the edge of the base body 1 and leave a web 15 between them, which engages in a corresponding recess 16 of the feather key 13.
  • the grooves 14 will already molded during the manufacture of the module by injection molding and must not to be specially worked out.
  • FIGS. 6-8 show a further variant of the invention.
  • the needle bar 4 has one continuous longitudinal groove 10.
  • a feather key 17 is inserted, which with its part projecting beyond the contact surface 3 projects into a longitudinal groove 18 of the module.
  • the module is thus fixed in both vertical directions.
  • the fixation in the horizontal Directions takes place through a fitting piece 19.
  • the fitting piece 19 is in a groove-like recess the needle bar 4 inserted, which attaches directly to the upper edge of the needle bar 4.
  • the opening in the module is not a hole, but an open top U-shaped opening 21 designed.
  • the length of the adapter 19 in the axial direction Needle bar 4 is dimensioned so that the module with its U-shaped opening 21st form-fitting on the part of the fitting projecting beyond the contact surface 3 of the needle bar 4 19 can be put on.
  • the needle bar 4 has a continuous longitudinal groove 10 into which a feather key 17 is inserted.
  • the module is correlated with a longitudinal groove 18.
  • the fixation the module in the longitudinal direction of the needle bar 4 is done by a fitting screw 22.
  • the opening in the module is designed as an elongated hole 23, the width of the Elongated hole 23 corresponds to the diameter of the fit of the fitting screw 22. The module is thus clearly fixed in all directions.
