Definitions
- the present invention relates to a hair curler on the outer surface a variety of essentially hook-shaped extensions is arranged distributed and one Contains layer with metallic conductive material.
- Hair curlers for curling hair are all in one A variety of embodiments are known. For example, exist Hair curlers often consist of two nested ones Divide. A first inner part is used to make the Fasten hair on the second outer part. It goes often lost one of the two parts, so that such curlers are then no longer usable. Furthermore Problems arise with this type of hair curler if the coiled hair is shaped using a hair dryer should be, because this type of hair curler through the warm air a hair dryer is usually not even and quick be heated. It therefore takes some time for the hair to close dry.
- Heated hair curlers are also part of the prior art. However, it takes a long warm-up time to do this Hair curlers are heated. This proves problematic the handling of the hair curlers once heated as a Users often burn their fingers during handling. They also have these types of hair curlers in the general a heavy weight, which makes handling additional difficult.
- a hair roller known from a cylindrical body consists of a plastic material on the outer surface a plurality of essentially hook-shaped extensions is arranged distributed, for example from a material called "Velcrotex®".
- This Hair curlers are particularly light and therefore easy to use. Problems also arise here when drying the in Shaped hair because of the warm air from the hair dryer the winder is not forwarded and therefore also a long drying time is necessary.
- a hair curler which consists of a perforated There is an aluminum cylinder with the one specified above "Velcrotex®” material is covered. This points a good one due to the presence of an aluminum cylinder Thermal conductivity, however, is the wall thickness of the aluminum tube relatively thick and therefore has a large heat capacity, which adversely affects the drying time. A reduction in the wall thickness is not possible because of the aluminum tube the task is to give the hair curler its dimensional stability to lend (carrier function).
- Another disadvantage is that despite the thickness of the aluminum cylinder insufficient rigidity and flexibility. With mechanical Stress, for example pressure or crushing, permanent deformations occur and the curler loses its original shape.
- the object of the present invention is therefore a hair curler to provide the good thermal conductivity properties has without the handling of the hair roller carries the risk of burns.
- This task is in the hair curlers described above solved by comprising three layers, one a layer containing metallic-thermally conductive material between two layers of non-metallic heat conductive material is arranged. This avoids that of the Metallic heat conductive material absorbed heat in the Handling the hair curler according to the invention to burns leads.
- Both metallic and thermally conductive as well as non-metallic and thermally conductive Material can advantageously be selected in this way that the hair curler is light in weight. This makes handling especially for the wearer of the hair curlers much easier.
- a material is called a metallic heat-conductive material understood which has at least one thermal conductivity ⁇ (DIN 1341) on the order of a metallic element or one metallic alloy. That means the term "metallic-heat conductive” also non-metallic materials, for example organic polymers such as polythiophenes, polyanilines or polyiodic compounds comprising the one mentioned above Have thermal conductivity.
- the thermal conductivity of the Hair curlers such that the drying time is brought into shape Hair using a hair dryer or a drying hood, can be significantly shortened.
- the warm air of the Hair dryers or the drying hood will quickly become latent Converted heat, which is immediately given to the hair can be.
- the hair stays in the longer Form in which it is fixed by the hair curler according to the invention were.
- the Necessity an aluminum tube performing a support function to be used as a metallic heat conductive material.
- the arrangement according to the invention of the metallic heat conductive allows Material between two poorly heat-conducting Layers processing flat materials instead of the previously used aluminum tube.
- the metallic heat-conductive material can be in the form of a coherent layer or in the form of rings, strips or other geometric shapes regularly or irregularly be arranged. It is possible that both or one Layer of non-metallic thermally conductive material firmly with the layer containing metallic heat conductive material is connected, the composite being both chemical in nature and can also be of a physical nature. This includes, for example Storage of metallic heat conductive material or spraying or foaming of non-metallic heat conductive material on the metallic heat conductive material containing Layer.
- the metallic, thermally conductive material preferably comprises Metal or a metal alloy.
- Metal or a metal alloy for example, the cost compared to other metallic heat conductive materials significantly reduced and the processing simplified accordingly become.
- one of the layers is preferably one Carrier layer forms. That is under the carrier layer Layer of the hair curler according to the invention understood that assumes the carrier function, i.e. gives shape to the hair curler and due to its rigidity, this shape is also mechanical Stress, for example by means of pressure, is largely upright receives.
- the backing layer should at the same time be sufficiently flexible so that even larger mechanical ones Stress, e.g. B. crushing, pressure u. ⁇ ., so withstood can be that the curler maintains its shape or after a deformation it returns to its original shape assumes.
- This carrier layer is generally from light weight, yet rigid and flexible enough so that the Shape of the curler even with heavy mechanical stress always remains.
- the carrier layer preferably has through openings. This can be used, for example, as hairpins or other objects can be stuck through the curler to make the hair more secure to attach to it. It can also warm Dry air flows particularly well through the hair curler. About that weight can also be saved through the through openings be so that the carrier layer is even lighter and nevertheless remains rigid enough to withstand mechanical stress to be able to resist.
- the openings also allow that evaporating moisture of the hair in the inner cavity of the curler can be derived, the drying is significantly simplified and accelerated.
- the carrier layer comprises Metallic thermally conductive material. So that's it possible, for example the number of layers to an absolute To reduce minimum, so that the manufacture of a Such hair curler is significantly simplified.
- the carrier layer is preferably composed of several layers. This can be used in a particularly advantageous manner of particularly light, flexible composite materials, for example consisting of a layer of a metallic thermally conductive Material associated with a layer of one not lead metallic heat conductive material, so that here too one layer is sufficient for functions such as heat conduction and stiffness combined with thermal insulation to take in a direction that is normally from several shifts would have to be taken over.
- the includes described three-layer curlers one outer, middle and inner layers.
- the middle The layer comprises metallic, thermally conductive material.
- This 3-layer arrangement allows the optimum for each layer Material according to the function of each Layer can be selected, which allows a simple Manufacturing with optimal lightness and high thermal conductivity and to combine drying speed.
- the outer layer comprises the plurality of distributed or also arranged in regular patterns, essentially check-shaped Processes 15.
- the three layers are one below the other connected. When connected, both become purely mechanical constructive, as well as a connection by means of a Connection aid, for example by means of an adhesive or a solder, understood.
- the middle layer comprises the metallic heat conductive material.
- the inner layer is not included Metallic heat conductive material, so that this among other things can act as a heat insulator. This is particularly beneficial when heating the hair curler according to the invention, because with it only the middle layer with metallic heat conductive Material becomes hot, but this only exposes the heat to the outside can give off the hair. This is particularly easy to use even the hot curlers are possible without it there is a risk of burns.
- the metallic, thermally conductive material is preferably made of a Made of metal foil.
- Metal foils are common starting products in many areas of technology, so therefore the manufacture is particularly simple. This will have significant advantages in manufacturing, for example compared to composite materials or compared to other materials, for example Metallic heat conductive material embedded in a matrix can contain, achieved. In particular, is by the use of a metal foil achieves that thickness especially can be small, so that the heat capacity and the heating time is reduced while delivering faster the heat to the hair to be dried, so that the drying time is advantageously shortened.
- the metal foil is perforated. Also for example, hairpins can still pass through the curler to be pushed through to keep the hair particularly tight to fix the curler. In addition, moisture from diffuse the hair inwards into the interior of the hair curler and evaporate from there to the outside so that the drying of the shaped hair takes place particularly quickly.
- the inner layer is made of Made of plastic.
- the inner layer is below that middle layer, which is metallic-thermally conductive material contains and is made of a metal foil, attached, so that this acts as an insulator when the middle layer is out a metal foil is heated. So there is a risk that the user burns the fingers on the curler, almost excluded, since plastic is poorly heat-conducting and therefore acts as a heat insulator against the metal layer.
- the inner layer of plastic preferably has a grid-like one Structure on. This can save weight, so that the hair curler is even lighter without the Rigidity of the inner layer of plastic suffers.
- Lattice-like is understood to mean that the plastic layer has regularly or irregularly arranged holes without that the overall context of the layer is lost.
- FIG 1 shows an outer layer 10 of an inventive Hair curler 12 (shown in Figure 4), on the outer Surface of a variety of essentially hook-shaped Extensions 15 are arranged distributed.
- This outer layer 10 consists of a tissue-like plastic material, so that it is porous.
- the outer layer 10 has a plurality of thin, circumferential rows 13, each row a plurality of flexible essentially hook-shaped extensions 15, which protrude radially from the rows 13.
- the ends of outer layer 10 have portions 13 'and 13' 'which no longer have flexible hook-shaped extensions 15.
- this outer layer 10 which is a plurality of hook-shaped Has extensions 15, it is therefore not necessary to second part, which secure the hair on the outer layer would provide, as the hook-shaped extensions 15 the hair hold tight and thus the hair attached to the outer layer 10 remains.
- Figure 2 shows a middle layer 20, for example on the inner surface of an outer layer 10 may be attached can.
- This middle layer 20 has an axial section 22 on.
- This middle layer 20 has a plurality of oval openings or perforations 25 through which, for example, hairpins can be inserted.
- Layer 20 comprises a material which has a good thermal conductivity characteristic, such as Aluminum, and is, for example, between 0.01 to 0.1 mm thick.
- the perforations 25 allow it that besides hairpins also other objects by a hair curler which can include the layer 20, so that the hair is additionally fixed on the curler and Dry air flows through such a hair curler even better can.
- the material for example aluminum or a Aluminum alloy, the layer 20 is metallic-thermally conductive, so that the hair, which is on a hair curler with a middle layer 20 is shaped when heated is heated evenly, whereby the drying time is essential can be shortened.
- Figure 3 shows an inner layer 30 of an inventive Hair curlers, for example on the inner surface a middle layer 20 is attached.
- the inner layer 30 has a plurality of substantially square openings or perforations 35.
- Layer 30 includes a plurality of circumferential, coaxial rows of reinforced ribs 36 and consists of a reinforced, flexible plastic material. The Distances between the ribs 36, especially between the outermost Ribs 36 and 36 'and 36' 'are opposite the gaps between the inner ribs 36 by a factor of approximately 3 further and also have terminal, annular beads 38 'and 38' 'on. This makes the cylinder shape even more stabilized and further against mechanical stress reinforced.
- the perforations 35 allow flow through of air, they also allow hairpins and other objects to be stuck by a hair curler according to the invention, so the hair remains securely attached to the curler.
- the inner layer 30 also acts as a heat insulator because it is poorly heat-conducting, so that if a medium Layer 20 is heated, the entire hair roller is not hot becomes difficult to handle. The inner layer 30 protects the user from burning his fingers.
- Figure 4 shows a cross-sectional view of one of three layers existing hair roller 12, the individual parts in their Dimensions are not drawn to scale by the To make details of the individual layers stand out better.
- the Hair curler 12 consists of an outer layer 10, which on its outer surface a multitude of protruding outwards Has ends 14 which are substantially hook-shaped Have extensions 15. These ends 14 can be both flexible be rigid as well. These hook-shaped extensions 15 are in able to hold the hair of a user, not shown.
- On the inner surface of the outer layer 10 is one middle layer 20, which metallic-thermally conductive material includes attached.
- an inner layer 30 consisting of a perforated Plastic material arranged.
- the cylindrical one shown Embodiment with a circular cross section through another three-dimensional hollow shape can be replaced, the cross section can consist of another polygon, for example.
