Claims (14)

  1. Method for the production of a yarn, in which a fibre sliver delivered from a drawframe is first subjected to condensing and is subsequently twisted without a thread balloon or with a reduced thread balloon by means of a ring-spinning device and is wound up.
  2. Spinning machine with drawframes (1) which deliver at least one fibre sliver (8, 8') in each case at their pairs of withdrawal rollers (4) and which are equipped at their exits with condensing devices (10) for amalgamating the at least one fibre sliver and which have a perforation (12) which is under a suction draught, and with ring-spinning devices (40), by means of which the condensed fibre slivers are consolidated by twist being imparted to them, the ring-spinning devices being equipped with means (46, 47) for spinning without a thread balloon or with a reduced thread balloon.
  3. Spinning machine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the condensing devices (10) are designed as suction rollers (11, 26) having the perforation (12).
  4. Spinning machine according to Claim 2, characterized in that the suction roller (11) is arranged above the run of the fibre sliver (8) and lies on at least one driven lower roller (14, 15).
