Abstract
Eine Wasserpumpe für den Kühlkreislauf einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeuges, ist mit einem Pumpengehäuse und mit einer in dem Pumpengehäuse angetriebenen Pumpeinrichtung, insbesondere einer Kreiselpumpe, versehen. In das Pumpengehäuse ist ein Stellventil mit einem Drehschieber integriert, wobei der Drehschieber wenigstens annähernd eine Hülsenform aufweist und mit einer axialen Sammelöffnung zur Zufuhr oder Abfuhr von Kühlmedium zur Saug- oder Druckseite der Pumpeinrichtung versehen ist. In der Umfangswand des Pumpengehäuses sind Zulauf- und Auslauföffnungen für eine mit dem Kühler verbundene Kühlerleitung und für wenigstens einen weiteren Teilkreislauf vorgesehen. Der Drehschieber weist in seiner Umfangswand eine Steueröffnung mit einer Öffnungsweite auf, durch die eine Verbindung von der Sammelöffnung zu einer einzelnen Zulauf- oder Ablauföffnung oder für einen Mischbetrieb eine überlappende Verbindung zu zwei benachbart zueinander liegende Zulauf- oder Auslauföffnungen geschaffen wird. A water pump for the cooling circuit of an internal combustion engine, in particular a motor vehicle, is provided with a pump housing and with a pump device, in particular a centrifugal pump, which is driven in the pump housing. A control valve with a rotary slide valve is integrated in the pump housing, the rotary slide valve having at least approximately a sleeve shape and being provided with an axial collecting opening for supplying or removing cooling medium to the suction or pressure side of the pump device. In the peripheral wall of the pump housing, inlet and outlet openings are provided for a cooler line connected to the cooler and for at least one further sub-circuit. The rotary slide valve has in its peripheral wall a control opening with an opening width through which a connection from the collecting opening to a single inlet or outlet opening or, for a mixed operation, an overlapping connection to two inlet or outlet openings lying adjacent to one another is created.
