Abstract

Eine Kraftstoffpumpe, welche für eine Brennkraftmaschine mit Direkteinspritzung eingesetzt wird, umfasst ein Gehäuse und mindestens einen Kolben, der in dem Gehäuse aufgenommen ist. Zwischen dem Einlasskanal (56) und dem Arbeitsraum ist eine erste Ventileinrichtung (64) und zwischen dem Arbeitsraum und dem Auslasskanal eine zweite Ventileinrichtung (74) vorgesehen. Das Ventilelement (62) der einen Ventileinrichtung (64) weist einen Führungsabschnitt (60) auf, welcher in einer Führungsöffnung (58) aufgenommen ist. Um zu verhindern, dass von der Kraftstoffpumpe ungewollt Kraftstoff gefördert wird, wird vorgeschlagen, dass die Führungsöffnung (58) im Ventilelement (72) der anderen Ventileinrichtung (74) ausgebildet ist und die Umfangsfläche des Führungsabschnitts (60) und/oder der Führungsöffnung mindestens eine Ausnehmung (88) aufweist, durch welche die Kontaktfläche zwischen Führungsabschnitt (60) und Führungsöffnung (58) reduziert wird.
