Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent malfunction due to mutual interference in case of three or more switches to be provided in parallel by devising a circuit setting a waveform mode of an electric signal such that the waveform mode of the photoe lectric switch differs. CONSTITUTION:A light radiated from a projection element 11 is polarized by a polarization filter 13, and when a voltage fed to the polarizer 14 via the polarizer 14 is turned on, the light is transmitted in the polarized direction and when the voltage is turned off, the light is transmitted while the polarizing direction is rotated by 90 deg.. Since the polarizer 19 at the photodetector 16 side is driven by a waveform voltage synchronously with the polarizer 14 at the projector 11, the light is transmitted as it is and enters the photodetector 16. In providing plural photoelectric switches in parallel closely, when the waveform mode of the photodetection switch differs by a setting circuit, even if a light from other photoelectric switch with a different waveform comes, since the polarizing direction of the polarizers 14, 19 differ, the light is not received. Thus, even when three or more plural switches are provided closely side by side, the mutual interference is prevented and malfunction is prevented.
