Description
【0001】

[Action and effect of the invention]
(Claim 1)
In the variable flow path pump provided in the cooling water passage, when the variable casing is driven to the first position by the servomotor , the suction port communicates with the first port of the outer casing, and the discharge port communicates with the second port. . When the impeller is rotationally driven in this state, a flow of cooling water from the first port communicating with the suction port to the second port communicating with the discharge port is generated.
[0011]
When the variable casing is driven to the second position by the servomotor , the suction port communicates with the second port of the outer casing, and the discharge port communicates with the first port. When the impeller is rotationally driven in this state, a flow of cooling water from the second port communicating with the suction port to the first port communicating with the discharge port is generated.
Thus , according to the variable flow path pump of the present invention, the flow direction of the cooling water can be reversed between when the variable casing is at the first position and when the variable casing is at the second position.
[0012]
In addition, the variable flow path pump of the present invention drives the variable casing by the servo motor, so that the rotation angle of the variable casing can be set arbitrarily, and the first port can be moved from the first port to the second port or from the second port to the first port. The flow rate of the cooling water flowing toward the port can be adjusted.
[0013]
As a result, the cooling water and the air are exchanged between the engine and the heat retaining container by the variable flow path pump. That is, by operating the variable flow path pump interposed in the cooling water passage, a flow of cooling water is generated in the cooling water passage, and an air flow is generated in the air vent passage in a direction opposite to the flow of the cooling water. I do.
[0014]
Specifically, when the impeller is rotationally driven in a state where the variable casing of the variable flow path pump is at the first position, the cooling water flows from the engine connected to the first port to the heat retaining container connected to the second port. Is collected. At this time, the air in the heat retaining container is introduced into the engine through the air vent passage. After the cooling water is recovered from the engine to the heat retaining container, the variable casing of the variable flow path pump is driven to the second position and the impeller is rotationally driven, so that the heat retaining container connected to the second port is connected to the first port. The cooling water is returned to the engine. At this time, the air in the engine is introduced into the heat insulation container through the air vent passage.
[0015]
As described above, since the cooling water and the air can be exchanged between the engine and the heat retaining container, when the engine is started, the cooling water is collected into the cooling water passage in the engine which is an air passage. The high-temperature cooling water stored in the container can be supplied as it is. Therefore, the wall temperature of the engine rises quickly, and the engine can be warmed up instantly.
