- the actual snowshoe, bearing the general reference (1) is constituted by a frame (2) delimiting a screen (4) intended to receive the user's shoe, said shoe being retained on the sieve by a fixing (7).
- the screen (4) can be at least partially produced by a canvas (3) whose edge (3a) is intended to be fixed in several places in the frame (2), said frame being formed by at least one section portion (8a, 8b) constituted for example by tubes (5) advantageously metallic as illustrated in FIG. 1.
- the sections of profiles forming the frame could have different profiles as shown in the illustrated variants Figures 11a, 11b, and 11c, without departing from the protective field of the invention.
- the frame (2) is advantageously of tubular type thus comprising two portions of lateral tubes (8a, 8b) connected at the front (AV) by a portion of front tube (9) extending the side tubes and forming a spatula (11) advantageously raised, and connected to the rear (AR) by two portions rear tube (10a, 10b) which extend the side tubes and are join at the rear, the ends of said rear tubes being fixed together by a tail end piece (12).
- the side tubes thus border an area of the sieve called the central area and which is intended to be occupied by the user's shoe as shown in Figures 2 and 3.
- the snowshoe comprises a central part basic technique (15) made of rigid material such as for example made of plastic or aluminum, said part allowing inter alia advantageously increase the lift and the characteristics snowshoe grip.
- the basic technical centerpiece (15) is advantageously disposed between the two tube portions lateral (8a, 8b) in the central zone of the screen (4) corresponding to the area occupied by the shoe as shown in Figures 4a and 4b.
- the basic technical central part (15) occupies only the central area (80b) of the screen (4), i.e. the area occupied by the shoe, it leaves the front (80a) and rear areas free (80c) as shown by the different embodiments and variants of executions, and in particular those illustrated in FIGS. 12a, 12b and 12c.
- the front and rear areas are advantageously occupied by a canvas (3) of so as to significantly increase the lift of the snowshoe.
- the basic technical central part (15) is an independent rigid part intended to be fixed to the frame (2) by means of locking by example as shown in the first embodiment and its variants, or fixed directly by overmolding as illustrated in the second embodiment.
- the basic technical central part (15) is presented under the form of an openwork plate whose lateral edges (15a, 15b) are formed by two side walls intended to be positioned against side tubes (8a, 8b) of the frame (2) and advantageously against the wall internal peripheral (PPI) of these, i.e. against the wall located towards the inside of the screen (4) with respect to the median vertical plane (M) of the tubes (5).
- PPI wall internal peripheral
- M median vertical plane
- the basic technical part (15) presents at its lateral edges (15a, 15b) a semi-cylindrical profile open to the outside complementary to the profile of the tube (5), said profile complementary being intended to bear substantially against the entire internal peripheral wall (PPI) of the tube.
- said side edges could have a cylindrical profile slightly reduced symmetrical with respect to the median horizontal plane of tube portions (8a, 8b) of the racket (1).
- the room basic technical center could come to cooperate in a different way against the portions of side tubes of the frame such as for example also being fixed against the outer peripheral wall as the shows the second embodiment illustrated in Figures 9a, 9b and 10, without however, depart from the scope of the invention.
- the attachment (7) of the snowshoe (1) is disposed on the upper face (65a) of the basic technical central part (15) and is advantageously constituted by a plate (7a) articulated around an axis transverse (XX ') relative to said technical piece, the plate (7a) bearing front retaining means (16) and retaining means rear (17) for retaining the user's shoe.
- the fabric (3) constituting at least partially the sieve (4) is located in a horizontal plane (H1) located above the plane horizontal (H2) containing the upper face of the central part basic technique (15).
- the technical part (15) is at least in part hidden by the canvas (3) when looking at the racket (1) by its upper side.
- the fabric (3) advantageously has days (58) which allow to see the technical part (15).
- Some parts of said basic technical part disposed in said days (58) have their upper surface in the plane (H1) of the canvas or in a plane located above said plane (H1).
- These parts are for example a rear support wall (59) of the lateral projections (20a, 20b, 20c, 20d) or the joint housings (21a, 21b) in which axis portions integral with the articulated plate (7a) are intended to be introduced so to obtain the articulation of the fixing around the transverse axis (XX ') as shown in Figures 2, 3 and 4a.
- the articulation housings (21a, 21b) are arranged at the front end of the basic technical central part (15) at the rear of a day (58a) of the canvas (3) of sufficient size to allow the pivoting of the end front of the plate (7a) which is provided with the user's shoe.
- the basic technical central part (15) has on its face lower (65b) attachment means (MA) intended to reinforce the grip characteristics of the snowshoe (1) especially in the transverse direction.
- attachment means can, for example, be formed by portions of lateral longitudinal walls (18a, 18b) of which at least part of the lower edge (19a, 19b) is arranged in a substantially horizontal plane (H3) located below the plane horizontal (H4) containing the lower edge of the tube in the central area of the frame (2) as illustrated in FIG. 5.
- H3 substantially horizontal plane located below the plane horizontal (H4) containing the lower edge of the tube in the central area of the frame (2) as illustrated in FIG. 5.
- the means of attachment could also include, crampons, knives or any other equivalent means of attachment without leaving the field of protection of the invention.
- the lower edges (19a, 19b) of the edges of the basic technical central part (15) can advantageously be crenellated or have teeth to strengthen the grip of the racket in the longitudinal direction.
- the basic technical central part (15) has attachment walls transverse (40) on its underside (15b). These transverse walls (40) illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 7, the lower edge of which extends between the two edges lateral (18a, 18b) substantially in the horizontal plane (H4) could also be arranged in a horizontal plane (H5) not shown, located under the horizontal plane (H4) containing the lower edge of the frame (2), said plane (H5) can for example be confused with the plane horizontal (H3) which contains the longitudinal edges (19a, 19b).
- the basic technical center piece (15) has two walls transverse, one being arranged at the front of said piece, substantially at the hinge of the plate (7a) while the other wall is disposed at the rear under the rear support wall (59) on which is intended to bear on the rear end of the hinged plate under the user's heel.
- the lateral longitudinal walls (18a, 18b) can be discontinuous and each consist of three wall portions as shown in Figure 2.
- the side hook walls (18a, 18b) can be inclined relative to the vertical longitudinal plane (P) for reference and present for example an inclination towards the outside (EXT) and down (BA) compared to said plan.
- the fabric (3) which at least partially constitutes the screen (4) is fixed to the tubular frame (2) thanks to the basic technical central part (15) which allows the edge of the fabric to be wedged between its edges lateral (15a, 15b) and the internal peripheral wall (PPI) of the tube (5) in several places.
- the fixing of the tubular frame (2) and the part basic technique (15) together which advantageously allows fixing canvas can be done using locking means such as rivets which press the part against the tube without coming out from the side of the outer peripheral wall of the tube.
- the part basic technical center (15) may partly constitute means of fixing the fabric (3) to the tubular frame (2).
- the room basic technical center (15) comprises means for tensioning the canvas intended to allow the canvas to be stretched and to marry in particular the longitudinal profile of the racket, these means being able to be constituted by two front extensions (25a, 25b) which extend into the area front (80a) of the racket and on which the canvas can be riveted so as to follow the inclined or curved shape of the spatula (11).
- the locking means (MV) intended to allow the fixing the basic technical central part (15) to the frame (2) are constituted by rods (50a, 50b, 50c, 50d, 50e, 50f) intended to cooperate with complementary housings (51) of the tube (5).
- said cooperation is due to the solicitation of portions of side tubes (8a, 8b) of the frame (2) towards each other so as to wedge the basic technical central part (15), said stress being able to be advantageously obtained thanks to the tail end piece (12) which allows fix the free ends of the tube (5) forming the frame (2) together.
- the lateral edges (15a, 15b) of the part basic technical unit (15) and the side tube portions (8a, 8b) of the frame (2) have a width narrowing (30) in the area sieve center (4).
- the narrowing (30) is advantageously located longitudinally in the middle of the central area intended to receive the user's foot. It goes without saying that the lateral attachment walls (18a, 18b) extending downward the side edges (15a, 15b) have also a corresponding central narrowing; however he could have straight side walls parallel to each other without as much to leave the field of protection of the invention.
- the basic technical center piece (15) is made of plastic by any manufacturing process such as for example by molding, by injection or pultrusion.
- the plastic used can be example constituted by a polyamide or by a polypropylene.
- the technical central part base (15) is made of plastic and its attachment to the frame is obtained directly by overmolding on the lateral profiles (8a, 8b).
- the technical centerpiece base (15) is produced by injection, so as to trap the tube (5) which forms the frame (2) inside cylindrical sleeves in au at least two fixing points and advantageously four (70a, 70b, 70c, 70d).
- the two points of lateral fixings are arranged on both sides of the narrowing in width (30) of the central zone, the front fixing points (70a, 70b) being positioned longitudinally at the level of the articulation axis (XX ') of the fixing (7) and the rear points (70c, 70d) at the end back of the central area (80b).
- the positioning and number of fixing points could be different without necessarily go beyond the protective field of the invention. So the fixation could be obtained by two side sleeves overmolded around the tube on either side of the basic technical part on its entirety length for example.
- the sleeves (70a, 70b, 70c, 70d) forming the fixing points have lateral chamfers (69a, 69b) so as to form angles with the side profiles (8a, 8b) respective (F1, F2) obtuse.
- the edges of the racket do not no lateral projection likely to catch on an element outside or with the other racket when walking.
- the fabric (3) is no longer fixed to the racket using the basic technical center piece, but it is fixed at least in part directly on said technical part. So, as shown in the figure 9a, the fabric (3) is fixed, for example, by rivets on the upper face (65a) of the basic technical central part (15) and on the end piece tail (12), and is fixed in a manner known per se by forming a loop, at the spatula (11).
- fixing the canvas to the front could be done on a complementary front fixing part, rigid and integral with the portion of front tube which forms the spatula, said additional part which can be fixed on the spatula by overmolding.
- the basic technical central part (15) also according to this second embodiment of the portions side walls (18a, 18b) which extend under the screen (4) of the snowshoe and which form the means of attachment thereof.
- these walls are advantageously positioned under the lateral cylindrical sleeves of the basic technical central part which trap the tube and which form the fixing points (70a, 70b, 70c, 70d).
- Hanging walls (18a, 18b) can thus extend downwards (BA) along these sleeves in the median plane (M) of the tube (5), as shown in the figure 10.
- the frame (2) is formed by a single tube (5) which is shaped by bending, for example, and whose ends (5a, 5b) are attached together at the rear end of the snowshoe (1) as shown in Figure 4a.
- the means of fixing the ends tubes (5a, 5b) can be of all types. They can in particular be obtained by a rear end piece or tail end piece (12) which traps the two tube ends together. So like the show Figures 13 and 14, the tail end (12) can advantageously have sealing means in the form of two internal cylindrical projections (71) intended to plug each end of tubes to prevent snow or water from entering these.
- a complementary sealing and fixing (72) which has the shape of a corner fills the space internal left free from the tail end (12)
- This part complementary (72) is riveted, for example, to the tail end piece (12), fixing by rivet can also allow fixing of the rear end of the fabric (3) on the tail end piece (12).
- the basic technical centerpiece (15) occupies only the central area (80b) of the screen (4) of the racket snow (1) and that it leaves the front area completely free (80a) corresponding to the spatula and the rear area (80c). Therefore the portions lateral profiles (8a, 8b) extend on either side of the part basic technical center (15) forward to form the spatula and towards the rear to join in the rear end so as to determine a front zone and a rear zone between the frame and said basic technical central part (15), these areas left free by the basic technical central part (15) are advantageously occupied by the canvas (3).
- the frame is formed by a single tube the ends of which are fixed together by a tail end; this avoiding problems due to the assembly of several portions of tube by fitting, welding or other, which cause the location of the connections, weaknesses, corrosion problems or sealing, for example.
- the invention also relates to a method of manufacture of a snowshoe of the type previously described.
- the main step in making the snowshoe (1) consists in making a basic technical central part (15) in material rigid as, for example, by a plastic injection process, said part intended to be able to be mounted in several frames tubulars of different dimensions without changing its dimensions clean.
- the method makes it possible to obtain a range of different size snowshoe using the same center piece basic technique in order to reduce in particular production costs by performing a single one-size-fits-all mold for plastic injection of the basic technical part that can be used to make different size snowshoes.
- Figures 12a, 12b, 12c illustrate three rackets of different lengths (L1, L2, L3) including the center piece technique is identical and of length L.
- the process consists also to be produced for example by bending, a frame whose the spacing of the portions of lateral tubes (8a, 8b) in the part central is equal to the width of the basic technical part (15) which whatever the shape and dimensions of the other parts of the frame tubular (2).
- the mold intended to be produced by injection, the basic technical core part is a mold overmolding in which we have the frame of the chosen dimension to perform overmolding.
- the peripheral frame (2) given by way of example is produced by a profile, such as a closed cylindrical tube (5), but it could be of course everything else.
- the frame (2) can be produced by any other type of profile, such as those illustrated for example in FIGS. 11a, 11b, 11c.
- the peripheral frame (2) is in the preferred embodiment of a single holding and produced by a continuous shaped tube (5), but no one would exit not within the scope of the invention if it were made in several pieces or do not included only one or two profile portions.
- the basic technical central part (15) is a rigid piece independent of the frame (2), which is fixed to this frame by all means such as riveting, gluing or overmolding for example.
- the frame is advantageously a tubular metal profile, while the central part is made in another material, such as for example plastic material.
- the center piece could be made of another material such as for example a metallic material such as aluminum, likewise the frame could be made of a different material such as a material composite for example without leaving the protective field of the invention.
- the canvas (3) is a flexible textile material or a sheet of plastic or sheet of composite material.
