Claims (9)
- Schutzelement zum Schutz eines Stromverbrauchers vor Ueberlastung mit einem zwischen zwei Kontaktanschlüssen angeordneten Widerstandskörper, dessen elektrischer Widerstand bei Erreichen einer Schalttemperatur sprunghaft ansteigt, aus einer Polymermatrix und einem ersten pulverförmigen Füllstoff aus einem leitfähigen Material sowie einem zweiten pulverförmigen Füllstoff, welcher mindestens ein Phasenübergangsmaterial enthält, das bei einer kritischen Temperatur (Tc) einer Phasenumwandlung unterliegt, bei welchem es Umwandlungswärme aufnimmt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die kritische Temperatur (Tc) unterhalb der Schalttemperatur liegt.
- Schutzelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite pulverförmige Füllstoff mindestens ein Phasenübergangsmaterial enthält, das einem fest-fest-Phasenübergang unterliegt.
- Schutzelement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Füllstoff mindestens eines der folgenden Phasenübergangsmaterialien enthält: Pentaerythrit, NaNO2, NaNO3.
- Schutzelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite pulverförmige Füllstoff mindestens ein Phasenübergangsmaterial enthält, das einem fest-flüssig-Phasenübergang unterliegt.
- Schutzelement nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zweite Füllstoff mindestens eines der folgenden Phasenübergangsmaterialien enthält: UHMWPE, Quinol; Metall, Legierung oder Salz, insbesondere mikrogekapselt.
- Schutzelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Umwandlungswärme des Phasenübergangsmaterials jeweils mindestens 40 J/cm3 beträgt.
- Schutzelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polymermatrix mindestens überwiegend aus Thermoplasten oder Polyäthylen besteht.
- Schutzelement nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Polymermatrix mindestens überwiegend aus Fluor-Thermoplasten, insbesondere ETFE besteht.
- Verwendung eines Schutzelements (4) nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8 in einer mit einem Elektromotor (1) in Reihe liegenden Motorschutzschaltung (2).
