Abstract

Le dispositif décrit (11), qui sert à stériliser une bande (12) de matériau d'emballage, présente deux paires de racles (17 à 20) pour vapeur saturée et un dispositif d'irradiation aux U.V. (25) en aval de celles-ci. L'utilisation de vapeur saturée à une température comprise entre 120 et 180 degrés Celsius, associée au dispositif d'irradiation aux U.V. (25), permet d'éliminer ou tuer de manière appropriée les germes présents sur la bande (12) de matériau d'emballage sans utiliser des substances stérilisantes chimiques.
