Abstract

Bei einem Steuerruder für Wasserfahrzeuge mit einem Ruderblatt (1), das eine Vorkante oder Ruderkopf (11) und daran anschließende, voneinander beabstandete Seitenflächen (12,13) aufweist, sind in den Seitenflächen des Ruderblattes Austrittsöffnungen (3) für ein flüssiges und/oder gasförmiges Medium angeordnet. Damit wird ein als Strahlruder ausgebildetes Hochleistungs-Steuerruder für Wasserfahrzeuge geschaffen, bei dem auch bei großen Ruderlagen ein Saugseitenabriß verhindert und damit eine maximale Ruderkraft aufgebaut wird, und dessen gegen die Fahrtrichtung gerichtete Widerstandskomponente sowohl in der neutralen Mittenlage als auch bei allen Ruderausschlägen minimal ist. Diese Wirkung wird ohne zusätzliche Anbauteile oder bewegliche Teile außerhalb des Ruderblattes erzielt, so daß die Festigkeitswerte des Steuerruders nicht beeinträchtigt werden und keine aufwendigen Konstruktionen erforderlich sind.
