Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Karussell mit einem oberen an einem zentralen Mast (1) gelagerten Drehträger (2), an dessen Umfangsbereich nach außen/innen schwenkbare Tragstangen (3) angeordnet sind, an denen Gondel- oder Sitzträger (4) befestigt sind. Erfindungsgemäß sind die in einem Winkel zur Radial- bzw. Umfangsrichtung des Drehträgers verschwenkbaren Tragstangen durch Krafteinwirkung nach außen/innen verschwenkbar, wobei insbesondere bei einem abwechselnden Verschwenken am Drehträger aufeinanderfolgender Tragstangen (3) der gesamte Platzbedarf des Karussells trotz hoher Fahrgastfrequenz und weiter Ausschwenkmöglichkeit der Sitze oder Gondeln sehr klein gehalten werden kann.
