Abstract

L'invention concerne une bougie-crayon de préchauffage destinée à être placée dans la chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne à compression de l'air, comprenant un culot, un élément de connexion pour l'arrivée du courant d'incandescence et un tube fixé au culot, ledit tube étant fermé à son extrémité opposée au culot. Dans la partie du tube faisant saillie dans le culot et servant de tige incandescente, se trouve une spirale de fil incorporée dans un matériau isolant. Le culot (11) est produit en deux parties et, selon la longueur souhaitée pour la bougie-crayon, on utilise une pièce intermédiaire (23), dont on peut choisir la longueur, qui relie l'une à l'autre une première partie (21) et une seconde partie (22) du culot (11).
