Definitions
- the invention relates to plastic lid vessels for laboratory use, especially in PCR technology.
- the Lid jar is designed for and has small sample amounts a capacity of about 0.2 to 0.5 ml.
- lid vessels have a tubular vessel and one at the side of the vessel opening by means of a tab attached lid.
- the tab is a hinge or Film hinge integrally connected to the vessel and lid.
- the lid container is in a Made assembly in which the lid is 180 ° from its The closed position at the vessel opening is pivoted to the side and the band hinge parallel to the vessel opening is aligned. Due to the elasticity of the hinge the lid remains in this position or returns back into this unless it is in the closed position is held. Thus, the unlocked lid container a considerable space requirement.
- lid vessels In many cases, a large number of lid vessels become common Processing various samples used in holders that therefor openings arranged in parallel rows for insertion of the lid vessels. Such holders can for example, belong to temperature control devices or mixers. Furthermore, it is already known to use several lid vessels To connect bands to vascular strips, so that these are also handled together outside the holder can be.
- PCR polymerase chain Reaction
- a temperature control unit a temperature program is run through. At the Heating up to a temperature of over 90 ° C turns DNA into their two strands separated. At temperatures of around 40 up to 70 ° C using a primer copies of the DNA prepared. In a variety of heating cycles and cooling, the DNA is multiplied.
- the object of the invention is to create a lidded jar that is cheaper in terms of its parallel arrangement in groups with open Cover is.
- the lid container is made of plastic tubular vessel with a vessel bottom at one end and at the other end has a vessel opening, a lid for sealing Closing the vessel opening, the vessel parts (namely vessel and lid) integrally connecting Hinge and a support that the Lid in an intermediate position between one to about Starting position pivoted 180 ° away from the vessel opening and a closed position at the vessel opening stabilized
- the support device thus enables the Lid in a stable intermediate position, in which several Lidded containers save space without covering theirs Vessel openings through and without side lids accompanying contamination arranged in groups next to each other and in which the vessel openings for the Pipetting samples are accessible. This is at the same time the handling of the samples easier, the quality the work is improved and the device-related effort decreased.
- the advantageous manufacturability with um lid pivoted about 180 ° away from the vessel opening remains intact.
- the support device has a latch and a Locking edge, one of these support elements with the lid and the other is firmly connected to the vessel.
- the Support elements meet when swiveling the lid out of the Starting position on each other and reaching behind each other after an elastic evasive movement of at least one of the support elements and / or the hinge can be executed.
- the catch and the catch edge meet reach behind, support the lid in the stable Swivel position (preferably about 75 ° to 90 ° from it Closed position removed). You can choose from the elastic restoring forces of the hinge in the stable position to be pressed, in the locking lug and locking edge abut each other and swing back into the (about 180 ° from the closed position of the lid) Prevent starting position. Another swing of the Lid in its closed position is, however, by the Support elements approved.
- the locking lug is preferred approximately perpendicular to the connecting plane of the vessel part carrying it aligned with the other part of the vessel and the Locking edge approximately parallel to the connecting plane of the one carrying it Vessel part aligned with the other part of the vessel.
- the latch has locking projections on both sides and is on one to the hinge parallel gap between two locking edges Forks aligned.
- the Lid presses the locking lug with its locking projections Spread the forks slightly apart until they snap together and the locking projections engage behind the locking edges. Then the stable swivel position is reached, in which the support elements from the elastic restoring forces of the hinge. When swiveling further interlocking nose and forks hinder each other Not.
- the locking lug with its locking projections in the Starting position at a distance from the forks be what is technically expedient and swiveling the lid back into its starting position relieved when the nose and fork tines come together slide off until they are released.
- a plurality of lid vessels by means of bands are preferred their vascular openings integral with each other to form a vascular strip connected.
- the connecting bands at an angle of about 45 ° be aligned with the hinges of the lid vessels.
- a vessel 1 to 4 has a vessel 1 with a bowl-shaped bottom 2, an adjacent cone section 3 and an adjoining cylinder section 4, a vessel opening 5 and a vessel flange surrounding it 6 has.
- the lid vessel has a lid 7 with a Cover flange 8, the outside of a convex cover hood 9 and inside a circumferential sealing collar 10 with an end Sealing bead 11 carries.
- Vessel 1 and lid 7 are over two parallel hinge straps 12 connected to each other by the vessel flange 6 run to the cover flange 8.
- the hinge straps 12 have 6 side sections 13 adjoining the vessel flange and adjacent to the cover flange 8 side sections 14, in which they are practically not flexible. Have in between they flexible middle sections 15. On top of the middle section 15 are projections 16 around which Hinge straps 12 are foldable.
- the hinge straps 12 go from the vessel flange 6 or the cylinder section 4 two parallel fork tines 17th , between which a parallel to the hinge straps 12 Gap 18 is formed.
- the fork tines 17 are enough about to the protrusions 16. Have at the bottom they have locking edges 19 which lead to the free ends of the fork tines 17 are slightly beveled.
- a latch 20 is aligned with the gap 18 its tip is connected to the cover flange 8.
- the Latch 20 is slightly more than the width of the projections 16 spaced from the fork tines 17 when the Lid 7 is in the starting position (see FIG. 2).
- Your Width is slightly less than the width of the gap 18.
- the locking lug 20 is with its locking projections 21 aligned perpendicular to the cover flange 8.
- cover flange 8 supports the hinge straps 12 opposite side also a projecting Tab section 22. On this one is inside cylindrical wall portion 23 arranged approximately extends the same distance from the cover flange 8 as the Sealing collar 10.
- the entire lid vessel is integral from an elastic Injection molded plastic material, e.g. made of polypropylene. It leaves the injection mold in that shown in Figs. 1 and 2 Arrangement in which it is easy to demold. As a result of inner The lid 7 receives material forces by 180 ° from the Vessel opening 5 of the vessel 1 swung away position in, if it is not moved by external force.
- an elastic Injection molded plastic material e.g. made of polypropylene.
- the cover flange 8 can be on the tab section 22 or on the cylindrical wall portion 23 can be raised.
- the locking projections 21 slide on the locking edges 19 outwards until they are on the ends the forks 17 slip off. This is only the case if the cover 7 almost the starting position shown in FIG. Has reached 1 and 2. This is the regaining 3 after opening the Lid 7 relieved.
- Swiveling the lid from the starting position into the stable swivel position and in the closed position and off this back into the stable swivel position or the starting position can be machine and at the same time for one Group of lid vessels are carried out.
- 5 and 6 show a group of lid vessels, the by means of strips 24 between adjacent vessel flanges 6 are connected to vessel strips 25.
- a holder 26 has openings 27 in parallel Rows 28 for vessel strips 25 with five lid vessels.
- the openings 27 are each of an upstanding Support collar 29 surrounded by a small groove 30 for Includes and fixes the position of the fork tines 17.
- FIG. 9 and 10 show the holder 26 in the openings 27 inserted lid containers with the lid open 7 (Fig. 9) and closed lid 7 (Fig. 10).
- closed Cover 7 is the support collar 29 between the cylinder section 4 of the vessel 1 and cylindrical wall section 23 of the lid 7 clamped, causing the lid vessels are secured to the holder 26.
- the latch 20 ' is between flexible Middle sections 15 and two parallel hinge bands 12 arranged one end with the vessel flange 6 and are connected at the other end to the cover flange 8.
- Of the Cover flange 8 has a between the hinge straps 12 Snap edge aligned perpendicular to their swivel plane 19 '.
- the locking edge 19 ' is pressed over the locking lug 20', when the lid 7 is folded towards the opening 5 and approximately has a distance of 90 ° to it. Thereby enables Flexibility of the catch 20 'or the hinge straps 15, that the locking edge 19 'is raised above the end of the locking lug 20' becomes.
- Vessel flange 6 and cover flange 8 are by another Hinge strap 34 connected, which is between the hinge straps 12 is arranged.
- the other hinge band 34 has a joint at 35 to the vessel flange 6 and at 36 Joint to the cover flange 8.
- the further hinge strap 34 is, however, also proportionate between the joints 35, 36 thinly formed so that it is elastically stretchable.
- the lid is 7 also angled by approximately 180 ° from the vessel opening 5.
- the further hinge band is in this starting position 34 not stretched (Fig. 15). Now fold the lid 7 over the pivot axis 33, the distance increases between the joints 35, 36 and the further hinge band 34 is stretched slightly elastically until it is on the pivot axis 33 is arranged.
- the further hinge strap 34 is pulled again something together until it reaches its initial length. This is when the cover 7 is aligned by approximately 90 ° to the vessel opening 5 the case (Fig. 14). In this stable The lid 7 is pivoted by the further hinge strap 34 stabilized with respect to the vessel 1. You fold the lid 7 further, so the further hinge band 34 bent outwards. Prevented when the lid 7 is closed however, the locking hook 31 in cooperation with the Locking cams 32 that the lid 7 opens. After a Unlocking the lid 7 can be returned to its stable Move swivel position or back to the starting position.
