Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a shoe press, in particular for a paper machine, with at least one roller, the one flexible around a stationary carrier Roll shell and at least one a support surface for the Includes inside of the roll shell shoe.
  • the shoe presses of the type mentioned are flexible Roll shell usually through the concave inwards bent press shoe pressed against a rigid counter roll. This creates a press nip between the press roll and the counter roll, a certain length in the feed direction of the material to be pressed, so-called press zone length. The longer this press zone is, the larger the at the same contact pressure of the Press shoe placed on the material to be pressed.
  • the Contact pressure of the press shoe can be in the feed direction the press zone can also be different, i.e. gradients exhibit.
  • the invention has for its object a shoe press of the type mentioned in such a way that this Disadvantages do not occur.
  • an extension is intended the press zone without damaging the flexible Roll jacket are made possible.
  • the support surface of the Shoe is essentially flat that the shoe to form a press nip with a second, itself a supportive shoe cooperates, which also has a substantially flat support surface, the substantially parallel to the support surface of the first shoe runs and supports an endlessly circulating band, and that at least one of the two shoes against the other shoe can be pressed.
  • the immersion depth of the flexible roll shell advantageously on the Half reduced.
  • the press shoe and thus the press zone length can clearly be compared to conventional shoe presses be enlarged without the risk of damage to the coat Alternating bending deformations exist during the operation of the shoe press.
  • the inventive design of the shoe press can press zone lengths of 500 mm, for example can be achieved with a roll diameter of 1500 mm, or generally, a ratio of press zone length to roll shell circumference greater than 0.07.
  • the shoe press according to the invention thus enables one high press pulse with low maximum pressure and low pressure gradient over the press length. hereby can be particularly gentle drainage of paper webs can be achieved because the surface layers are less be compacted and thereby drainage overall is facilitated. These advantages are both graphic Paper machines as well as machines for cardboard and Packaging papers can be used.
  • the shoe press according to the invention can be designed the invention in addition to the roller-shaped shoe press unit a second shoe press unit with the press jacket closed on the side with a side open, from the second shoe have supported press belt, which in a known manner is guided over pulleys.
  • the width of the press belt is preferably narrower than the width of the Roller jacket of the roller-shaped shoe press unit.
  • At least at least one axial end region of the roll shell a roller over a radially flexible side plate on the Carrier of the associated roller rotatably mounted.
  • the flexible side plate can according to an embodiment of the Invention as a rim with a flexible, in particular compressed air-filled Hose be formed. This is constructive inexpensive and also allows adjustment of flexibility.
  • At least a shoe opposite the assigned wearer in particular hydraulically, radially adjustable. This can advantageously according to a further embodiment of the invention a deflection of the associated carrier when operating the Roller to be compensated.
  • the radial adjustability of the shoe builds up a contact pressure his. This advantageously makes it self-stressing Shoe press created that have no external resources required to generate a contact pressure.
  • the contact pressure can according to a further embodiment Invention in the direction of passage of the pressed material by the Press nip and / or transversely adjustable to this his. This can advantageously in both directions Pressure profiles can be set to the pressing process optimize.
  • the shoe press according to the invention is preferably designed such that that a contact pressure can be built up in both shoe press units is, in at least one shoe press unit at least one point a firm connection between the shoe and assigned carrier is provided to the position of the press nip to define in the direction of the press plane.
  • a felt belt can be used in the shoe press according to the invention carried on both sides of the material to be pressed through the press nip be, as only on one side.
  • it is preferably a scraper is provided which touches the material to be pressed The surface of the roll shell or endless belt is scraped. Adhesive material particles can thereby be removed and the touched surface should be kept clean.
  • Support device provided for support the scraper is facing away from it
  • One side of the roll shell or endless belt is preferred Support device provided.
  • closed shoe press unit with a hydrostatic Equipped with shoe lubrication.
  • the friction between the press shoe and roller jacket can advantageously be small being held.
  • With the open shoe press unit in contrast, preferably lubricated with water.
  • the shoe press shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a Press roll 1 with a rotating around a stationary support 2 flexible roll shell 3 and a flat support surface 4 for the inside 5 of the roll shell 3 first shoe 6.
  • the first shoe 6 of the roller 1 cooperates a second, also having a flat support surface 7 Shoe 8 together, one around a stationary Carrier 9 rotating flexible roll jacket 10 of a second Roller 11 supports.
  • the support surfaces 4 and 7 of the two shoes 6 and 8 run essentially parallel to one another.
  • the two roller shells 3 and 10 of the two rollers 1 and 11 also substantially the same wide.
  • the rim 14, 15 is rotatably mounted on the stationary support 2, while the hose 16, 17 with the roll shell 3 firmly connected, in particular glued. That way radial support of the axial end regions of the roll shell 3 achieved with radial compliance.
  • the roller 11 can be designed accordingly.
  • the two shoes 6 and 8 of the two rollers 1 and 11 are each with respect to the assigned stationary carrier 2 or 9 radially adjustable, as indicated by arrows 18 and 19 is. Only roller 1 is preferred Pressure control means equipped, while the Roller 11 only with means to compensate for deflection of the stationary support 9 by radial adjustment of the Shoe 8 is equipped. The roller 1 is therefore self-stressing Press roll formed while the roll 11 does this serves as a counter roll, the shoe 8 at least on one Place is rigidly connected to the stationary support 9.
  • Press nip 20 By the between the two shoes 6 and 8 formed Press nip 20 is in the illustrated embodiment a paper web 21 and on the roller 1 facing On the side of the paper web 21, a felt belt 22 is guided. On the opposite side of the paper web 21, however, is not Felt tape provided. The roll shell 10 of the roll 11 is therefore touched paper. To keep the roll shell 10 clean a scraper (not shown here) can be provided, who scrapes and prefers the outer surface of the roll shell 10 through one on the opposite side of the roll shell 11 provided device, also not shown is supported.

  • the open shoe press unit 32 comprises an endless belt 33 which over pulleys 34 is guided, and a second shoe 35, which with the shoe 31 of the roller 30 to form a press nip 36 interacts.
  • the support surfaces 37, 38 are two shoes 31 and 35 substantially flat and parallel trained to each other. While the shoes 31 and 35 also have essentially the same dimensions the width of the roll shell 39 measured in the axial direction the roller 30 larger than that of the endless belt 33.
  • the two are also in the variant shown in FIG. 3 Shoes 31 and 35 preferably towards the press nip 36 adjustable, one of the two shoes for contact pressure regulation can be used while the other shoe only a deflection compensation of the assigned Carrier causes.
  • the shoe press shown in Figure 4 largely corresponds the shoe press of Figures 1 and 2, but here the width of the lower roll shell 3 is larger than that of the upper roll shell 10.
  • the side shields 41 of the lower Roller 1 can therefore be different from the variant of Figures 1 and 2 be rigid.
  • shoe 42 of the upper roller 11 is not radially movable, but instead is curved in the axial direction towards the lower roller 1.
  • the curvature ⁇ h 1 of the shoe 42 between the side edge and the center preferably corresponds to the deflection ⁇ h 2 of the carrier 9 of the upper roller 11 under operating load, which is thereby at least largely compensated for.
  • the contact pressure can be applied to all of the variants shown here both in the direction in which the material to be pressed passes through the press nip 20 or 36 and crosswise differently adjustable his.
  • Each shoe press unit can also do more than one Show shoe.
  • the shoes preferably have a length of more than 300 mm to a high pressing pulse at the same time low maximum pressure and preferably low pressure gradient to effect.
