Definitions

  • the invention relates to an extended nip roll press for dewatering a fibrous web according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a roll press which consists of three rolls arranged approximately one above the other, which form two press nips for the treatment of a material web.
  • a press roll and a counter roll each consist of a roll shell which is rotatable about a stationary support and which is supported by support elements thereon.
  • the direction of action of the support elements of the mating roll slightly by an angle ⁇ , which is between 2 and 5, preferably 4 and 8 °, is inclined from the pressing plane formed with the pressing plane.
  • An extended-nip roll press is known for example from DE 35 03 240 C2, which has a driven counter-roller, which is associated with a fixed support body with a press shoe guided therein.
  • the press shoe can be pressed by means of pressure oil in the direction of the counter roll.
  • To the support body is passed around an endless press jacket.
  • the press shoe forms with the corresponding shell portion of the backing roll an extended press nip, through which the fiber web to be dewatered is guided together with the press cover in the web running direction.
  • the press shoe has to an upper part, which has a slideway along which the press cover runs.
  • the slideway is adapted in dependence of the desired Preßdruckverlaufs on the press nip width to the lateral surface of the counter roll. With regard to the Preß réelleverlaufes one wishes, starting at the inlet into the press nip, an initially gradual increase in the
  • an extended-nip roll press in which the center axes of the support body and the counter-roller lie in a preferably vertical pressing plane, so that the pressing shoe arranged on the support body is displaced laterally parallel to the pressing plane.
  • the raceway of the roll mantle is offset from the direction of travel of the fibrous web offset from the pressing plane and is thus eccentric to the central axis of the support body to further reduce the risk of rewetting.
  • the disadvantage here is that the roller centers are no longer in the stacking plane, whereby the stress and wear of the rotating components, in particular of the flexible roll shell is increased.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a long-nip roller press of the type mentioned, which is simple in construction and can be achieved with the high dry content values in the fibrous web.
  • an extended-nip roller press which is constructed by a tilting of the press shoe with respect to the stack level symmetrically with only one stack level, but shortly before the outlet from the press nip, a sudden drop in the pressure is reached, so that a Remoistening the fibrous web at the outlet of the press nip is largely prevented.
  • a steeper pressure curve is achieved during dewatering, although the press shoe is symmetrical to the load plane.
  • the stress on the roll mantle is reduced and the wear thereof is reduced, since in particular the axis of rotation of the roll mantle can coincide with the centers of rotation of the double-sided roll mantle mounts.
  • the press shoe can be tilted relative to the carrier or the press shoe including the carrier can be tilted, for which purpose the carrier is rotatable about the roller center of the press roller.
  • the acute angle between the stacking and load planes can be selected and is preferably in the range of 1 ° to 5 °.
  • the upper part of the press shoe can also be designed to be longer in the direction of entry relative to a center axis of the press shoe than in the outlet direction, in order to achieve an optimum pressure curve in the press nip.
  • the press shoe may be equipped according to the claims 6 and / or 7 with Hydrauliklastzylindem, which allow an articulated motion compensation of the press shoe relative to the carrier, in particular to compensate for thermal expansion.
  • Fig. 1 shows an extended-nip roll press for dewatering a fibrous web, in particular a paper web, which may be part of a papermaking machine.
  • the extended-nip roll press comprises an extended-nip press roll 1 and a driven counter-roll 2, which cooperate in a press nip 3.
  • the extended-nip press roll 1 and the counter-roll 2 define a stack level S with their roll centers.
  • the stack level S runs vertically here.
  • the extended nip press roll 1 and the counter roll 2 may alternatively be arranged so that the stack level S is inclined or horizontal. Through the press nip 3, at least one felt web 4 and the fibrous web 5 to be pressed are guided.
  • the extended-nip press roll 1 comprises a fixed support 6 and a rotatable about the support 6 roll shell 7, which consists of a flexible material, for. As rubber or plastic exists.
  • the roll shell 7 is formed tubular and with its ends on the rotatably seated on the support 6 lid (not shown) attached to form a closed extended-nip press roll 1.
  • a gap 8 between the carrier 6 and roll shell 7 can Compressed air can be supplied, whereby the roll shell 7 can be inflated to obtain a cylindrical shape.
  • This cylindrical shape is required because of the roll jacket transport for the start of work of the extended-nip press roll 1. In operation, the cylindrical shape prevents chattering of the roll shell.
  • the axis of rotation of the roll shell coincides with the centers of rotation of the two-sided roll shell bearings.
  • a press shoe 10 On the carrier 6, a press shoe 10 is provided, which has an upper part 11, on which a sliding surface 9 is formed, on which the roll shell 7 is supported in the region of the press nip 3.
  • the sliding surface 9 is preferably convex in cross-section at the edge and predominantly concave in the support region.
  • the press shoe 10 can be pressed by means of pressure oil in the direction of the counter-roller 2.
  • the press shoe 10 forms with the corresponding shell portion of the backing roll 2 the extended press nip 3, through which the at least one felt web 4 and the fibrous web to be dewatered is guided together with the roll shell 7 in the web running direction.
  • the entrainment of the non-driven roll shell 7 takes place through the webs 5, 4, wherein the sliding surface 9 defines an inlet and an outlet.
  • the outlet direction is indicated in Fig. 1 by the arrow in the driven counter-roller 2.
  • the press nip 3 is hydrodynamically and / or hydrostatically lubricated in a
  • the press shoe 10 comprises a support strip on which the upper part 11 is fixed, which carries the sliding surface 9.
  • the support strip consists of a plurality of mutually spaced, piston-like parts containing Stützanorditch 12, which are respectively supported on the carrier 6.
  • the support arrangements 12 are movable in the direction of the counter-roller 2, due to a pressurization of a pressure chamber 13, which is connected to a hydraulic pressure medium, for example oil or water.
  • a hydraulic pressure medium for example oil or water.
  • the press shoe 10 then defines a load plane L formed by the geometric centerline of the support assemblies 12.
  • the arrangement of the press shoe 10 relative to the stacking plane S is such that the load plane L of the press shoe 10, the stack level S at the center of the counter roll 2 and acute angle to the outlet direction cuts and the press shoe 10 is radially displaceable, along this so aligned to the stack level S load level L.
  • the arrangement of the press shoe 10 can be such that the load plane L is rotated at an angle in the range of 1 ° to 5 ° with respect to the stack level S.
  • the press shoe 10 according to FIG. 1 is tilted on the carrier 6.
  • the upper part 11 is preferably designed such that this is formed longer in the inlet direction compared to the load plane L as in the outlet direction.
  • the formation of the support assemblies 12 as a hydraulic load cylinder can be done as described for example in DE-AS 27 59 035, which is preferred because of the different thermal expansion between the support strip and the support 6 and resulting length differences due to a deflection of the support 6, held tubular piston parts 14 use, which are sealingly and hingedly guided at its two ends, in recesses of a shell connector 15 and a support terminal 16, each forming cylinder sections.
  • the tubular piston parts 14 allow the upper part 11 to tilt relative to the carrier 6.
  • Fig. 2 second embodiment differs from the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, characterized in that the carrier 6 is tilted together with press shoe 10, so that the press shoe 10 along a stacking plane S in the center of the backing roll 2 and acute angle to the outlet direction cutting load plane L is radially displaceable.
  • the carrier 10 is preferably rotated in a frame, not shown, about the center of the extended-nip press roll. The press shoe 10 is then aligned parallel to the carrier 6 arranged on this.
  • Fig. 1 accordingly.
  • Fig. 3 shows a third embodiment, which differs from the first embodiment shown in FIG. 1 differs in that the extended-nip press roll 1 is arranged on the head side of the counter-roller 2, resulting in an overhead press shoe 10. Moreover, the comments on Fig. 1 apply accordingly.
  • Fig. 3 shows that an oil supply 17 is provided at the inlet of the press nip 3 for a hydrodynamic lubrication of the press nip 3.
  • the scraper 18 is preferably disposed in an upper portion of the extended-nip press roll 1 to allow the scrape lubricant to flow into a catch tank 19 by gravity, from where it can be diverted via at least one duct 20.
