Definitions

  • DE-B-21 44 562 describes a device on a truck for loading and unloading or tipping a container, which is also known under the name "hook lift".
  • This device has a tilting and supporting frame which is pivotably mounted about a transverse axis fixedly arranged on the rear of the vehicle.
  • pivotable guide rails are articulated about an axis aligned parallel to the fixed transverse axis, which enable the received container to be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
  • an angled gripper arm is arranged on the guide rails, which has a hook arrangement at its free end.

  • the disadvantage of this known hook lift is that the angled gripper arm part is arranged in operation between the front wall of the container and the rear of the cab, so that there is no possibility of accommodating additional units in this area, such as a pressing device with a hopper or the like.
  • DE-A-16 80 152 also describes a device which has a lifting arm articulated on the vehicle frame, which is provided at its free end with a bent gripping hook and which is effective by a swivel angle of almost 180 ° in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle with the help of two in succession becoming hydraulic cylinder is pivotable.
  • the swivel geometry in connection with the dimensions of the container to be accommodated is designed so that a gripping eye can be arranged on the front wall of the container in the region of its lower edge. Due to the deep arrangement of the gripping eye on the container, the offset of the gripping hook on the lifting arm must be relatively large in order to be able to grasp a container standing on the floor behind the vehicle with the lifting arm and to be able to pull it onto the vehicle. Horizontal displacements of the container on the vehicle are not possible with this system.

  • This object is achieved for vehicles for picking up and setting down swap bodies, in particular collecting containers, with a tilting frame which is divided by a folding axis extending transversely to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, which runs under the swap body to be picked up and can be pivoted via a swivel drive connected to the vehicle frame and its rear tilting part is articulated on the vehicle frame via a tilting axis and the front bent part of which is provided with a sliding part which is connected to a sliding drive and which is provided with an extended arm part, the free end of which has a gripping hook which is connected to one on the front side of the one to be handled Swap body can be connected at a small distance above the standing level of the swap body.
  • Such a device has the advantage that the entire swiveling process for picking up and setting down the swap body on the one hand and, on the other hand, any desired tilting of a swap body designed as a collecting container with a swiveling drive, for example in the form of a simple or in pair ⁇ designed hydraulic piston-cylinder unit can be carried out.
