Claims (8)

  2. Braking device according to Claim 1,
    characterized in that the sleeve (9) comprises a cylindrical section (9a) and a section (9b) having the shape of a truncated cone, both centred on the axis (x-x) of the connecting rod (8), the brake casing (10) having a recess with a portion (10a), which is cylindrical in cross-section, and a portion (10b), which has a cross-section in the shape of a truncated cone, adapted to house the sleeve (9).
  3. Braking device according to Claim 2,
    characterized in that the sleeve (9) has at least one slot (9c) extending parallel to the central axis (x-x) of the portion (9b) which is in the shape of a truncated cone.
  4. Braking device according to one of Claims 2 or 3,
    characterized in that it also includes a spring (13) which is housed in the recess (10a) of the brake casing (10) and is prestressed between the cylindrical section (9a) of the sleeve (9) and an end face (10") of the brake casing (10).
  5. Braking device according to one of Claims 2 to 4,
    characterized in that the brake casing (10) has fixing means (14) adapted to fix said casing (10) to an edge-plate (3) extending parallel to the rod of the fitting (2,6).
  6. Braking device according to one of Claims 1 to 5,
    characterized in that a socket (15) is rotatably mounted around a first end (8a) of the connecting rod (8), a socket support (16) having a stud (17b) with an end (17a) which is fixed to the rod of the fitting (2b), an edge-plate (3) extending parallel to said rod (2,6) and having a longitudinal slot (3b) for the passage of said stud (17b).
  7. Braking device according to one of Claims 1 to 6,
    characterized in that one end (8b) of the connecting rod (8) is fixed to a device (5) for lifting the openable part (1), said end (8b) being integral with a casing (20) having two studs (21) which are aligned according to an axis (Y-Y) and are adapted to be rotatably mounted on the device (5) for lifting the openable part (1).
  8. Openable part (1) of a door or window or the like, which slides by lifting, including a fitting, such as an espagnolette bolt, espagnolette lock, comprising an operating mechanism controlling the translational displacement of a rod (2) actuating at least one device for locking the openable part (1) and a device (5) for lifting the openable part (1) in a plane of the door- or window-frame (4), a flexible rod (6) forming an angle-return plate, which links said rod (2) and rolling supports (5d) of said lifting device (5),
    characterized in that a braking device (7), according to one of Claims 1 to 7, is fixed between said flexible rod (6) and a rolling support (5d) of the device (5) for lifting the openable part (1).
