- the invention further relates to a set or tool kit for the assembly of hollow or solid profiles according to axes of intersection of any angular values using of an assembler made up of an assembly body in the form of a sparing blade, after folding the blade, a bearing surface provided with a through hole and arranged to be fixed on any one of the faces a first profile and a fixing start for the fixing of a second profile, the distal part of which has been previously erected on a cutting plane corresponding to the angular connection method chosen, set or kit according to which, for folding the blade, is included at least one folder with jaws of upper and lower clamping and a plate arranged substantially in line with the support surface formed by the lower jaw, this plate, arranged for rotate around an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of jaw, comprising an adjustable stop cooperating with a stud projecting from the jaw clamping surface lower so as to immobilize the assembler to be folded, rotatably mounted around said stud, in a position predetermined angle adjustable relative to the axi
- the assembler 1 object of the invention, consists of a assembly body in the form of a blade, generally made of metal ( Figures 1 to 4), or of a block plastic or metal ( Figures 5 and 6). This assembler is used for the assembly of a first profile 2 and a second profile 3.
- profiles solid or hollow
- a preferred solution of the invention consists of using sections of profiles made up of solid or hollow wooden beams.
- a classic solution consists of gluing on the faces of a metal profile constituting a hollow tubular core of the wooden elements constituting an envelope of said soul.
- assembling and bonding such different materials that wood and metal have disadvantages.
- the connection generally made by bonding between wood and metal, is very delicate and unreliable.
- She furthermore requires compulsory surface preparation metallic.
- the presence of these metallic surfaces generates risks of corrosion or oxidation as well as condensation harmful to wood.
- a beam of the type comprising a web of polyhedral stiffening, this core being covered, on substantially its entire length, of wood elements surrounding said core and constituting an envelope of said core, this beam being characterized in that the core is consisting essentially of reinforcing materials and a impregnating binder shaped by pultrusion while the wooden elements of the envelope are formed of one or several thicknesses of pieces of wood assembled by abutment to obtain a length of wood element at less equal to the length of the core.
- the impregnating binder used in the composition of the core is preferably an isophthalic polyester resin representing approximately 45% of the composition of the core.
- the reinforcing materials which are part of the composition of the core are in the form of filaments, tablecloths and / or mats essentially based on fibers of glass, these reinforcing materials representing substantially 55% of the composition of the soul.
- Such a beam is represented by the section 3 of FIG. 2.
- the core of stiffening thus provides an axial cavity 10 to the interior of said section 3 as shown in FIG. 2.
- the advantage of such profiles is to allow the realization particularly solid frameworks capable of supporting heavy loads.
- this cavity 10 allows hide the assembler, making the connection aesthetic.
- the assembler 1 consists of a body assembly in the form of a blade.
- This blade is fixed to one of its ends 4 on one any side, for example side 6, of a first profile 2.
- This blade can be oriented around its attachment point at any angle ⁇ then folded on demand compared to the initial fixing plan corresponding to the face 6 of said first profile so to constitute a fixing start 7 on which is fixed a second profile 3, the distal part 8 of which has been previously erected according to a corresponding cutting plan the angular connection mode chosen.
- This training can be made using a two-axis chainsaw in a manner known per se.
- Orientation and folding operations at the end 4 of the assembly blade constituting the assembler 1 can be made for example using a folder of the type shown in Figure 1.
- This folder has a frame made up of two flanges arranged parallel and interconnected by means of a jaw clamping 17 said lower jaw.
- This lower jaw 17 cooperates with an upper jaw 18 arranged to be able to be spread or close to the lower jaw 17.
- These two clamping jaws respectively lower 17 and upper 18 form a vice in which the assembly blade can be inserted.
- These clamping jaws 17 and 18 can be held in position brought together by clamping screws 26 which tend, by their supporting action against the upper jaw 18, at the press against the lower jaw 17 as shown in the Figure 1.
- the clamping portions of said jaws affect the blade shape.
- the lower jaw 17 further comprises, in projection of its clamping or support surface, a stud or journal 19.
- the folder is equipped with a swivel plate 20 arranged at neighborhood of the jaws 17.18 in a parallel or merged plane in the clamping plane of said jaws.
- this tray 20 is arranged substantially in the extension of the bearing surface provided by the lower jaw 17.
- This plate 20 is articulated on the frame of the folder for ability to pivot around axis parallel to axis longitudinal of the jaws 17 and 18.
- This plate 20 comprises at in addition to an adjustable stop 22. This stop 22 is susceptible to be moved inside a circular groove of guide 25 formed in said plate 20.
- This stop adjustable 22 cooperates with the stud 19 projecting from the clamping surface of the lower jaw 17 to ensure immobilization of assembler 1 rotatably mounted around of the stud 19 in a predetermined angular position adjustable relative to the longitudinal axis of said jaws.
- at least one of the constituent flanges of the folder frame has an adjustable stop 23 likely to be moved and immobilized inside a circular guide groove 25 'formed in said flaccid.
- This stop 23 constitutes the stopping point of the pivoting movement of the plate 20.
- This plate is moved by means of a handle 24.
- the assembler is therefore subsequently folded by pivoting the tray inside a predetermined angular range adjustable so as to form a fold around the longitudinal edge of the jaw upper, this edge constituting the folding axis D2.
- the assembler intended to be folded using the folding machine described above has at its end 4, at a point corresponding to its fixing point on the first profile 3, a through hole 5.
- This assembler is then rotated around the stud 19 so that the longitudinal axis of the assembler forms with the longitudinal edge 21 of the jaw upper, which constitutes the axis or the fold line D2, a adjustable predetermined angle ⁇ chosen by the user.
- This angle ⁇ corresponds to the orientation angle of the assembler, that is to say the actual angle of the two profiles to be assembled in the filling plane formed by them.
- This angle ⁇ is preferably at least equal to 17.5 °.
- This plate 20 forces the assembler 1 to bend at an angle ⁇ predetermined adjustable around the longitudinal edge 21 of the upper jaw 18, this edge forming the axis D2 of the folding.
- This angle ⁇ shown in Figure 1 is adjusted by the operator by means of the adjustable stop 23 by moving the latter in the circular groove 25 '. So folded, the assembler can be fixed to the first profile 2.
- the bearing face 4 of the assembler 1 is provided, at its point of attachment to the first profile 2, through a through hole 5, fixing to the first profile takes place by means of a fixing member 12 which passes to through said through hole 5 and enters a hole 16 known as a fixing hole in the fixing face 6 of said first section 2, as shown in FIG. 4.
- This fixing member 12 is for example constituted by a screw. So that the operator can after the operation of folding transfer the angles ⁇ , ⁇ on the profiles, it agrees to fix the assembler on the first profile 2 of such that the folding axis D2 of the assembler is parallel or perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the streamlined.
- the fixing start 7 thus formed on which will be attached a second profile 3 can affect a large number of shapes. It could thus be in the form of a dish in which would be provided a through hole for the attachment to the second profile.
- This embodiment could be used in particular as part of a assembly where the second profile 3 would be a full profile, the assembler being fixed in abutment on one of the faces external of this profile.
- one embodiment preferred of the invention is to conform the assembler so as to allow the attachment of a second profile hollow 3 on any first profile.
- the second profile 3 has an axial cavity 10 as has already described above.
- Fixing start 7 is then shaped to constitute an anchoring core 9 likely to be introduced into the axial cavity 10 of the second profile 3 to be connected. Immobilization between first and second sections are carried out through a fixing member 11 passing at least through one of the faces of the second profile 3 to be connected and the core anchor 9.
- the anchoring core 9 can in turn have a large number of shapes. However a simple solution is obtained when the anchoring core 9 assumes the shape of a cage obtained by successive folding of the fixing start 7 as shown in Figures 1 to 4.
- the cage thus produced contains a block 13 generally made of plastic.
- This block 13 has a through hole 14 arranged opposite at least one 14 'hole in the cage for the passage of the fixing member 11 of the second profile 3.
- the axis D3 of the bore 15 formed in the second profile 3 and the drilling axis D4 of the anchoring core 9 are shifted so as to obtain, under the effect of penetration of the fastener 11, a clamping effect tending to press the distal face 8 of the profile to be connected 3 against the fixing plane of the first profile 2.
- the assembly process described above consists, in its simplest mode of implementation, to fold the assembler previously oriented using a folder, to fix the assembler on the first profile 2 by means of a first fixing member 12, to fix the second profile 3 on the assembler 1 by means of a second fixing member 11, the distal face 8 of this second profile having been previously erected.
- the operator can, prior to fixing of the assembler on the profiles, mark on the first and second profiles, by means of templates, positioning fixing holes 16 and clamping 15 to be made and carry out said drilling by means of a machine tool, the drilling tool passes through a drilling barrel carried by template.
- the operator must have a set or kit of tools for implementing the process, this set comprising at least one folder and possibly two templates, one used to locate the attachment point of the assembler on the first profile, the other used to locate the fixing point of the assembler on the second profile.
- templates can be deleted.
- the anchor cores assemblers are preformed in the factory, the holes in the profiles and bending of the end 4 of the assembler 1 taking place on site.
- assembler 1 which affects the shape of a block, has a large number of characteristics common to the first embodiment described. It is why, in Figures 5 and 6, organs having identical functions to those of the organs described in Figures 1 to 4 have been designated with the same digital references.
- assembler 1 originally comes in the form of a block made of metal or plastic with a first hole through 5 axially formed in said block and a second through recess defining a cavity 27 whose role will be described below.
- This block forming the body of assembler 1 is pivotally mounted around a first axis D1 virtual orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the hole crossing 5 so as to determine an orientation of the assembler around said axis D1 corresponding to a first angular value ⁇ chosen from the assembly.
- This pivot assembly of the assembler is obtained by displacement of a stop 22 inside a groove guide circular 25 formed in a plate 20 swivel. This circular guide groove 25 is organized around a center through which the D1 axis passes.
- This plate 20 is bordered by flanges between which it is mounted pivoting about an axis D2. Analogously to this which was described for the folder in Figure 1, this flange has a circular guide groove 25 'to the interior of which an adjustable stop 23 is likely to be moved and immobilized. This stop 23 constitutes the stopping point of the pivoting movement of the plate 20.
- the body of assembler 1 is oriented along the second chosen angular value of the assembly.
- a cutting tool 28 such as a saw circular, the cutting edge of which is positioned in the plane P formed by the plane parallel and / or merged with D1 and passing through D2 is operated to eliminate the part of the assembler represented at 29 in FIG.
- the part of assembler 1 located the other side of said plane constitutes, analogously to this which was described in the first embodiment, a fixing start 7 to which is fixed directly or to by means of an insert a second profile 3 similar to that described in the first embodiment.
- the part of the assembler in plane P constitutes the support face 4 of the assembler provided with a hole through 5 and arranged to be fixed on one 6 any of the faces of the first profile 2.
- the bearing face 4 of said assembler 1 oriented along the first and second angular values chosen assembly is delimited by sawing the assembler along a section plane coincident with the parallel plane said first orientation axis D1 of the assembler and passing through the second orientation axis D2 of said assembler.
- Fixing the assembler on the first profile 2 is effected by means of a fixing member 12 which passes through said through bore 5 formed in the bearing face of said assembler at the point of attachment of the assembler on said first profile 2, this member attachment 12 penetrating into a bore 16 known as attachment formed in the fixing face 6 of said first profile 2. This fixation is analogous to that described in the first embodiment.
- the fixing start 7 is shaped to constitute an anchoring core 9 capable of being introduced into an axial cavity 10 of the second profile 3 to connect, immobilization between the first and second profiles 2, 3 being made by means of a attachment 11 passing at least through one of the faces of the second profile 3 to be connected and the anchoring core 9 or an insert on or in said anchoring core.
- the core anchor 9 affects the shape of a cage delimited by walls of a through cavity 27 formed in the body of the assembler, this cage being arranged to receive a element 30, such as a block, having a hole through 31 for the passage of the fixing member 11 of the second profile 3.
- This element 30 which constitutes a part reported for example affects the shape of a U ( Figure 5) to allow the housing of the end of the fixing 12 of the assembler 1 on the first profile 2 between the branches of the U.
- the dimensions of the element 30 are chosen in such a way that the element fits perfectly in the cavity 27 forming a cage so as to be immobilized axially inside.
- the process of assembling two profiles at means of an assembler according to Figures 5 and 6 consists to cut the assembler 1 previously oriented by means a cutting member 28, to fix the assembler on the first profile 2 by means of a first fixing member 12, to fix the second profile 3 on the assembler 1 by means a second fixing member 11, the distal face 8 of this second profile 3 having been previously erected.
- the location of the fixing and clamping holes 16 to can be done in a similar way to what has was described in the first embodiment. Likewise, assemblers can be pre-cut at the factory or cut on site.
- This assembler can be used in particular for manufacturing of frameworks intended for the realization of constructions light but can also be used to assemble metal profiles, wooden profiles, profiles plastics, composite profiles or mixed profiles for the realization of various structures.
- a few structures are cited below as an example not restrictive: canopy, veranda, airlock, garden winter, bow window, curtain wall, fixed frame, skylight, shed, day well, gallery, covered passage, pyramid, kiosk, pool cover.
