Definitions
- the invention relates to a ski boot with a shell, in which contains a sole insert above a sole, which is an externally operated height adjustment mechanism is assigned with which a long side of the sole insert is adjustable in height relative to the other long side.
- Such a ski boot is known from DE 29 53 208 A, the sole insert with the height adjustment mechanism Height adjustment of the foot relative to the shell allows.
- the sole insert with the height adjustment mechanism Height adjustment of the foot relative to the shell allows.
- there are four supports below the sole insert provided the one in the forefoot area by two vertically adjustable bolts, and on the other hand in the heel area are formed by two elastically deformable sleeves; these sleeves are through horizontally adjustable bolts contractible and therefore adjustable in height.
- this height adjustment device is intended to be comfortable and orthopedic as well as ski functionally correct position of the foot in adjustment with different foot shapes and foot positions. Because of the four supports, however, is a careful adjustment the bolt is required so that there is none "Wobble" of the sole insert comes in if one of the supports closes is high or too low.
- edge grip of a ski has priority Meaning.
- the direction of travel changes an angle between the ski surface and the slope surface, mainly based on the weight of the skier, the driving speed, of the radius of the curve and in particular of the Snow conditions. This angle is all the greater the icy the surface is, so that the edge grip increases becomes.
- the object of the invention is now to create a ski boot, with which the edge grip of the ski is as simple as possible and thus the power transmission to the ski when the direction of travel changes as required and especially in adaptation to the Slope conditions can be preset from the outside, whereby nevertheless, a stable hold of the foot in the shoe all settings can be reached.
- This task is the one mentioned at the beginning of the ski boot Art solved according to the invention in that the sole insert in Longitudinal direction of the sole in an inner part and in one outside part is divided, and that one part of the Sole login firmly connected to the sole of the ski boot and the other part of the sole insert of the height adjustment mechanism assigned.
- the inside of the foot can be higher than the outside of the foot relative to Sole can be adjusted so that advantageously a reinforced Edge grip of the respective Talski inner edge when cornering or turns is obtained without the skier must tilt his lower legs or feet excessively.
- slalom and giant slalom enables a safer, more aggressive driving style.
- the present invention is therefore based on the knowledge that that a specific height adjustment, i.e. a tipping a part of a sole insert divided into two parts for the driving style during turns in the sense of a reinforced edge grip or stop the ski, especially in icy slope conditions, can be used, so to speak a Angular "presetting" of the ski boot and thus of the ski (comparable a "preload”) with unchanged orientation of the Legs will get.
- a specific height adjustment i.e. a tipping a part of a sole insert divided into two parts for the driving style during turns in the sense of a reinforced edge grip or stop the ski, especially in icy slope conditions.
- a structurally simple, in terms of simple installation and the stability in operation particularly favorable embodiment is characterized in that the parts of the sole insert by one in the area adjacent to one long side of the Sole insert with its axis running in the longitudinal direction of the sole Joint are connected.
- the height adjustment of the sole plate can be done in this way take place that one part of the sole insert, which is on the The outside of the shoe or the outside of the ski is located relative to the on the Inner part of the sole insert is lowered, causing the desired relative increase in the inside of the foot is achieved in the shoe.
- the inside is useful Part of the sole insert relative to the outside part slanted, i.e. pivoted up, as mentioned above a few degrees, about in the range between 0 ° and 7 ° what an increase on the inside of the foot by up to 7 mm can correspond. Accordingly, it is advantageous if the height adjustment mechanism the inside part of the sole insert assigned.
- a structurally particularly advantageous, stable training a joint between the two parts of the sole insert is that the joint is a hinge. It can of course not just a conventional piano band type Hinge (with pin joint) are used, but depending on the material used for the sole insert formed by the material of the sole insert itself "Hinge”.
- the sole insert is made of Plastic and the joint due to a weakening of material in the form of elongated holes spaced apart from one another is formed.
- ski boot also provided that at the bottom of the other part of the Sole insert essentially over the entire length of the Sole insert extending wedge strip is arranged, which with one arranged at the bottom of the sole and transverse to the longitudinal direction of the ski boot, e.g. rail-shaped wedge works together.
- This is a rigid training and support of part of the sole insert ensured when pivoting.
- the movable Wedge with one that runs transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski boot Threaded hole is provided through which one in the side wall the sole is rotatably mounted and secured against axial displacement Adjustment spindle is screwed, being on the sole insert Wedge bar arranged in the area of the adjusting spindle has a vertically extending recess which has a relative movement of wedge ledge and adjusting spindle allowed.
- this Training becomes a quick and easy adjustment of the sole insert in only one place, namely - preferably arranged approximately in the middle of the foot - adjusting spindle enables.
- a structurally simple measure to secure the adjusting spindle against axial displacement outwards is that the adjusting spindle has a collar which is on the Supported inner surface of the side wall of the sole.
- the slidable, rail-shaped Wedge at its front and rear ends with across Guide extensions running in the longitudinal direction of the ski boot is provided, which slides transversely to the longitudinal direction of the Ski boot-oriented projections of the sole for guiding the Support the wedge in the transverse shift.
- Another, possibly additional measure for displacement control as well as for stiffening and supporting the sole insert consists advantageously in that at the Bottom of the sole insert at least one transverse to the longitudinal direction the guide bar of the ski boot is arranged, which in a corresponding groove in the top of the sliding Engages.
- Fig.1 and 2 which at least currently as refer to particularly preferred embodiment, designated 1 generally a - only partially shown - ski boot that has a shell 2 and a sole 3.
- the two Parts 6, 7 of the sole insert 5 are in the place of their dividing line 9 by a joint 8, preferably in the manner of a hinge, connected with each other; this joint 8 runs on the Place the maximum width B of the sole insert 5 (Fig.2) in a distance C from the outer edge of the outer part 6 of about a third of the width of the sole.
- the outside part 6 - and thus the outer longitudinal side 6 '- the sole insert 5 firmly connected to the sole 3, for example via a base 10, which are molded onto the underside of the sole insert 5 and by means of Screws 11 indicated in the drawing are screwed to the sole 3 are.
- the inside part 7 of the sole insert 5 is thus relative to the outside part 6 around the one running in the longitudinal direction of the shoe Axis of the joint 8 pivotable upwards, and for this adjustment or pivoting is a height adjustment mechanism 12 provided.
- the height adjustment mechanism 12 contains one on the underside 13 of the inner part 7 of the sole insert 5 integrally molded ramp or wedge bar 14, the essentially over the entire length of the sole insert 5 extends, and one arranged at the bottom 4 of the sole 3 and displaceable transversely to the longitudinal direction of the ski boot 1, for example rail-shaped wedge 15, which with the on the sole insert 5 fixed wedge bar 14 cooperates, and the is also called wedge rail 15 below.
- This wedge rail 15 is with a transverse to the longitudinal direction of the ski boot 1 Provided threaded bore 16 through which one in a Bore 17 in the side wall 18 of the sole 3 (see FIG. 3) is rotatable mounted adjusting spindle 19 is screwed.
- the wedge rail 15 around the area of the threaded hole 16, deviating from the wedge shape as a cuboid 20, the one in a corresponding vertical Recess 21 of the wedge bar 14 of the inner part 7 of the Sole insert 5 engages so that this inner part 7th when turning the adjusting spindle 19 due to the wedge displacement without obstruction by the adjusting spindle 19 vertically can be swung up.
- the adjusting spindle 19 To secure against axial displacement in the direction of Arrow i in FIG. 2 is the adjusting spindle 19 with a collar 22 provided, which is supported on the side wall 18 of the sole 3 inside. At the collar 22 closes the side wall 18 penetrating Head 23, which has a slot 24 for an adjusting tool, e.g. a screwdriver.
- an adjusting tool e.g. a screwdriver.
- the adjustment spindle 19 is used to additionally secure the position protruding with its free inner end over the wedge rail 15 in a bore 26 one firmly connected to the sole 3
- Bearing bracket 25 is freely rotatable.
- a spring ring 27 is applied, which is supported on the bearing block 25 (see Fig. 2 and 3).
- the bearing block 25 can be in one piece with the sole 3 trained and on the top with a longitudinal slot 28 be provided, the width of which is smaller than the diameter of the Adjusting spindle 19, and which extends to the bore 26 and thereby a simple assembly of the adjusting spindle 19 Pushing the same through the longitudinal slot 28 into the bore 26 enables (see Fig. 1).
- the adjusting spindle 19 extends substantially over half the width of the sole 3, and the Bearing bracket 25 is essentially in the longitudinal center of the sole 3 arranged.
- the joint 8 by Material weakening of the preferably made of polypropylene Sole insert 5 formed, for example by a extending groove 36 and or or at intervals Elongated holes 37 provided from each other so that through the groove 36th or between the elongated holes 37 a kind of film hinge 38 is formed becomes.
- a conventional one could Hinge with a pin joint (not shown) used become.
- other joint designs can also be provided with thin, ribbon-like, flexible connecting bars, which are distributed over the length of the joint 8 at the front end, at the rear end and if necessary in the middle of the sole insert 5.
- Theoretical can even, with appropriate securing of the inside part 7 of the sole insert 5 in the ski boot 1, (approximately by - flexible - Connections of this part 7 with the sole 3 in the area of Trennline 9), a physical connection of the two sole insert parts 6, 7 in the area of the joint 8 are omitted.
- a further reduction in friction is seen in the embodiment according to Figure 4 achieved that instead of the movable Wedge rail to achieve the wedge effect two in axial direction one behind the other, also transverse to Shoe longitudinally movable rollers 39 are provided, the are each rotatably mounted on an axis 40, the Axes 40 from a cuboid 20 corresponding in function Cylinder 41 go out, the diameter of which is slightly smaller than that The diameter of the rollers 39 and that with a threaded bore 16 'for receiving an adjusting spindle mounted in a bearing block 25' 19 ', as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, is provided, so that a detailed description is unnecessary.
- This embodiment can also be used for parallel displacement of the rollers 39 at the ends of the axes 40 guide extensions (not shown, but see the guide extensions 30 in Fig.2) be attached to corresponding sole protrusions (31 in Fig.2) slide.
- the function of the grooves 34 according to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3 Circumferential grooves (not shown) on the rollers 39 replaced become.
