Description
Eine besonders starke Beanspruchung des Flüssigkeitsgemisches wird durch Rippen oder Eintrittsöffnungen hervorgerufen, die nicht durch Flüssigkeit abgedeckt sind. Sobald die Rippen außerhalb des Flüssigkeitsspiegels liegen, erfolgt die Mitnahme weitgehendst schonend durch Flüssigkeitsreibung. Zwar läßt sich die Schleudertrommel so auslegen, daß diese Rippen oder Eintrittsöffnungen bei Betrieb von Flüssigkeit überdeckt sind, doch beim Befüllen der Schleudertrommel zu Beginn des Trennvorgangs und nach jeder Entleerung der Schleudertrommel liegen diese Rippen oder Eintrittsöffnungen frei und führen dann zu den genannten Beeinträchtigungen des Produktes.
Dies wird insbesondere bei sehr wertvollen und schlagempfindlichen Produkten, beispielsweise bei der Abtrennung von Blutplasma, nicht akzeptiert. Nach jeder Trommelentleerung läuft das Blutplasma zunächst für 30 Sekunden rot gefärbt ab, was ein Zeichen für eine unerwünschte Hämolyse ist, die durch Zerschlagen von Blutzellen entsteht.
Wegen der radial weiter einwärts liegenden Eintrittsöffnungen 16 der oberen Abteilung 14 erzeugt diese einen wesentlich höheren Flüssigkeitsdruck, so daß diese Abteilung die Durchsatzleistung der Trommel bestimmt. Die untere Abteilung 15 dient vorrangig zur stoßfreien Befüllung der Trommel 1. Der beschriebene Füllvorgang wird nach jeder Entleerung der Schleudertrommel über die Austragsöffnungen 18 wiederholt.
Claims (5)
- Verfahren zum Füllen einer selbstentleerenden Schleudertrommel mit einem zu trennenden Flüssigkeitsgemisch, das über ein Einlaufrohr und einen Verteiler zugeführt wird, dessen Einlaufraum über Öffnungen in seinem mit radialen Zufuhrkanälen versehenen Verteilerfuß mit einem Tellereinsatz in Verbindung steht, in dessen Zentrum Kanäle zur Ableitung der abgetrennten leichten Flüssigkeitsphase in eine erste Ableitkammer und an dessen Peripherie ein Trennraum mit Kanälen zur Ableitung der abgetrennten schweren Flüssigkeitsphase in eine zweite Ableitkammer vorgesehen sind, wobei der Verteilerfuß aufgeteilt ist in eine obere Abteilung und eine untere Abteilung, die im Bereich der Öffnungen miteinander kommunizieren, und die Eintrittsöffnungen der Zufuhrkanäle der oberen Abteilung radial einwärts von Eintrittsöffnungen der Zufuhrkanäle der unteren Abteilung vorgesehen sind und das Einlaufrohr in die untere Abteilung mündet, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Verfahrensschritte:a) Füllen der Schleudertrommel mit einer Hilfsflüssigkeit über eine untere Abteilung des Verteilerfußes bis zu einem Flüssigkeitsspiegel, der radial einwärts der Eintrittsöffnungen der Zufuhrkanäle dieser Abteilung liegt,b) Zuführung des Flüssigkeitsgemisches mit reduzierter Leistung über die untere Abteilung des Verteilerfußes bis zu einem radial einwärts gelegenen Flüssigkeitsspiegel, der die Eintrittsöffnungen der Zufuhrkanäle einer oberen Abteilung des Verteilerfußes überdeckt,c) Zuführung des Flüssigkeitsgemisches mit voller Leistung über beide Abteilungen des Verteilerfußes.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Hilfsflüssigkeit Salzwasser verwendet wird.
- Selbstentleerende Schleudertrommel zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach Anspruch 1 oder 2 mit einem Einlaufrohr (2) und einem Verteiler (3), dessen Einlaufraum (4) über Öffnungen (5) in seinem mit radialen Zufuhrkanälen (6) versehenen Verteilerfuß (7) mit einem Tellereinsatz (8) in Verbindung steht, in dessen Zentrum Kanäle (9) zur Ableitung der abgetrennten leichten Flüssigkeitsphase in eine erste Ableitkammer (10) und an dessen Peripherie ein Trennraum (11) mit Kanälen (12) zur Ableitung der abgetrennten schweren Flüssigkeitsphase in eine zweite Ableitkammer (13) vorgesehen sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Verteilerfuß (7) aufgeteilt ist in eine obere Abteilung (14) und eine untere Abteilung (15), die im peripheren Bereich miteinander kommunizieren, wobei die Eintrittsöffnungen (16) der Zufuhrkanäle (6) der oberen Abteilung (14) radial einwärts von den Zufuhrkanälen (6) der unteren Abteilung (15) vorgesehen sind und das Einlaufrohr (2) in die untere Abteilung (15) mündet.
- Schleudertrommel nach Anspruch 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Eintrittsöffnungen (17) der unteren Abteilung (15) radial auswärts zu dem Ablaufdurchmesser "D1" der zweiten Ableitkammer (13) vorgesehen sind.
- Schleudertrommel nach Anspruch 3 oder 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Eintrittsöffnungen (16) der oberen Abteilung (14) radial auswärts zu dem Ablaufdurchmesser "D3" der ersten Ableitkammer (10) vorgesehen sind.
