Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren für den Empfang und die Auswertung von RDS-Datenströmen mehrerer Sender, wobei neben dem Empfang und der Wiedergabe eines ersten Senders dessen RDS-Datenstrom ausgewertet wird und zusätzlich der RDS-Datenstrom weiterer Sender ausgewertet wird.
Für derartige Verfahren waren bisher Rundfunkempfänger nötig, die über zwei getrennte Empfänger verfügen konnten.
Bei dem vorliegenden, erfindungsgemäßen Verfahren wird die Auswertung der RDS-Datenströme mehrerer Sender dadurch möglich, daß nur kurzzeitig zwischen den auszuwertenden Sendern umgeschaltet wird, wobei der RDS-Datenstrom aus den kurzzeitig zur Verfügung stehenden Teildatenströmen zusammengesetzt wird.
