Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hydrant consisting of a Pipe that with its lower end with a valve housing is connected, the water discharge elements at its upper end has and in which a linkage is arranged for actuation of the valve in the valve housing, the tube or a pipe section made of two parts of different diameters exists, which are telescopically pushed into each other, in in the lower tube part in use position a device for Storage and guidance of the valve screw spindle is arranged, which can be removed and installed from above.
  • the hydrant is set too high, it is damaged damage to be expected below the predetermined breaking point.
  • the invention has for its object an arrangement meet with which it is possible with little effort the hydrant to bring them to the correct altitude. Another goal is to simplify hydrant maintenance.
  • the invention is based on one Hydrants of the type specified at the beginning, in which both The length of the tube and the linkage are variable is and in which a facility for storage and management of Valve screw spindle in the lower pipe part in use position seen arranged and with this device from above can be removed and installed.
  • the hydrant has a predetermined breaking point, facilities for Changing the pipe length and the rod length in the position of use are arranged below the predetermined breaking point. she thereby get to a place where they are very likely undamaged if the hydrant is damaged remain, so that only the previous part of the Exchange or replace hydrants above the predetermined breaking point repair is.
  • the length variability of the hydrant leaves enough scope for differences in level of the final road to be able to compensate. For example, the hydrant is after Completion of the road slightly raised or lowered to to obtain the desired position, in particular of the predetermined breaking point.
  • the length can be changed in different ways become. There can be changeability in small stages be provided. However, an infinitely variable adjustability is better. This is achieved in that the Pipe or a pipe section made of two different parts Diameter exists, which telescoped are. Depending on the desired altitude, the pipe parts more or less pushed together. It is cheap if the upper tube part with the smaller diameter inserted into the lower tube part with the larger diameter is. This arrangement facilitates the placement of the Storage and guidance of the valve screw. For maintenance is to remove the upper pipe section and the device for the Storage and guidance of the valve screw spindle is then good accessible.
  • the predetermined breaking point of the pipe through the flange arrangement is formed and the approach as a predetermined breaking point for the actuating linkage serves.
  • One pipe part preferably carries a sealing arrangement, which seals on the circumference of the other pipe part.
  • The can Apply sealing to the outer surface of the other pipe part. But it is also the arrangement of an internal seal possible.
  • the invention proposes to change the rod length Facility that consists of a polygonal rod that with a nut with an internal polygon cooperates, the one of these elements, for example the polygon nut a screw spindle drives for valve actuation.
  • the invention also proposes that in the lower tube part Device for storing and guiding the valve screw is arranged and the upper end of the valve screw is connected to the lower end of a tube into which the polygonal rod immersed and the polygon nut at the top wearing.
  • the invention is not only applicable to such hydrants, where essential parts of the hydrant are above street level protrude.
  • the invention is also with underground hydrants applicable. It is at the top of the top of the Pipe or piece of pipe the valve rod stored and next to the Valve rod bearing a coupling element for the connection provided in particular a hose. The lower end of the the upper part carries one part of the telescope arrangement.
  • the hydrant shown in Figs. 1 to 5 consists essentially from a pipe or several pipe sections 16 and 6, wherein the pipe section 6 is made up of parts 7 and 8.
  • the pipe pieces 6 and 16 are connected to one another by a flange arrangement 17 connected and the entire hydrant is on the valve housing 18th placed and through a flange assembly 19 with the valve housing connected.
  • the valve housing 18 has at the lower end a flange 20 for connecting the hydrant to the respective Water pipe.
  • a valve ball 21 movable under the action of water pressure against the Valve seat 22 is pressed. When you open the valve, it presses Actuator 23, the valve ball down, while at the Closing movement the valve ball is released.
  • the actuator is moved by the tube 24.
  • the valve can be opened from the top of the hydrant using a suitable key can be operated.
  • the rod 25 twisted.
  • the rod 25 has a polygonal at the lower end Approach 26, which engages an inner polygon 27, which in turn has a polygonal rod 10 at the upper end is attached. It is clear that when the rod 25 turns, also the rod 10 is taken.
  • the rod 10 surrounds one Nut 11, which is arranged in the upper end of the tube 15 and has an inner polygon, which is connected to the polygonal rod 10 interacts.
  • the tube 15 is at its lower end with the upper end of the screw 12 connected to it, as at known to lift the tube 24 via the spindle nut 28 and can be lowered so that the valve is opened and closed and can be opened.
  • the upper end of the tube 24 with the spindle nut 28 and also the screw 12 are mounted in the device 13 and performed, which is arranged in the tubular part 8.
  • the hydrant should be installed in such a way that Street level corresponds approximately to line 29.
  • the flange arrangement 17 is thus just above the level and forms the predetermined breaking point of the tubular part during the Approach 26 as a predetermined breaking point for the actuating linkage serves.
  • a seal 9 is provided, which cooperates with the outer circumference of the tubular part 7.
  • This Sealing arrangement 9 is firmly connected to the pipe part 8.
  • the Sealing arrangement consists essentially of two annular Seals 30 and 31 and a lip seal 32 for Sealing the gap between the two pipe parts 7,8.
  • FIG. 6 is a section through an underground hydrant shown.
  • the lower part of the hydrant has the same design as in the embodiments of FIGS. 1 to 5.
  • the underground hydrant according to FIG. 6 is at the upper end of the upper part 7 of the tube, a bearing 34 is provided for the upper end of the linkage 2.
  • a coupling element 35 is provided on which, for example, a Hose can be connected.
  • the lower end of part 7 acts with the sealing arrangement 9 together, in such a way that the pipe section 7 in the pipe section 6 can be pushed in or pulled out.
  • the linkage 2 is also variable in length.
  • FIG. 7 shows in particular how the device 13 is stored in the tube part 8.
  • the lower end of the pipe part 8 is placed on an end piece 46, and with this for example welded.
  • the end piece 46 is via the flange arrangement 19 connected to the valve housing 18.
  • the valve housing takes the Valve ball 21, which cooperates with the valve seat 22.
  • a pipe section 36 is firmly inserted carries at its lower end an annular flange 35 and on its inside the ribs 37.
  • the device 13 consists in essentially from the radial ribs 38, which are attached to the tube 39 are and by the resilient bracket 40 down is pressed.
  • the bracket 40 can be rotated so that the holding elements 41 under the hook-like ends 45 of the ribs 37 grab. It is clear that with a corresponding rotational movement the clamp bracket 40 the insert 13 with all associated Parts can be removed upwards, so that the Valve screw 12 including the associated facilities the actuator 23 expanded up and can also be reinstalled from above.
  • the upper end of the tubular part 8th carries a ring 42 with the sealing elements 43 and 44 which can be moved on the outer circumference of the tubular part 7, so that the desired altitude of the upper part of the hydrant is adjustable. It is clear that the inside diameter of the Ring 42 with the seals 43 and 44 the outer diameter of the Part 13 must be adjusted so that these elements the removal do not hinder upwards.
  • the tubular part 7 is an upper one Pipe section 16 carries.
  • the Predetermined breaking point 5 is arranged, which is designed such that in the event of any damage, the aerial parts of the Hydrants those parts below the predetermined breaking point 5, and both the pipe 1 and the linkage 2 are undamaged stay.
  • FIG. 10 shows the upper part of a Hydrants, the middle or lower part of the training 8 or 7.
