Claims (9)
- Prallplatte (20) für ein Zwischengefäß, mit einem Körper aus feuerfestem Material, das einem Kontakt mit geschmolzenem Stahl in einem Zwischengefäß (10) widersteht, wobei der Körper ein Bodenteil (22) mit einer Pralloberfläche (24), eine äußere Seitenwand (26, 40), die sich von der Pralloberfläche (24) nach oben erstreckt, eine obere Oberfläche (32), die mit der Seitenwand (46, 40) verbunden ist, sowie eine Öffnung (30), die sich in der oberen Oberfläche befindet, aufweist, wobei die Öffnung einen freien Zugang für geschmolzenen Stahl zu der Pralloberfläche (24) und von dieser weg bereitstellt, die obere Oberfläche (32) einen inneren Ringabschnitt (42) aufweist, der im wesentlichen parallel zu der Pralloberfläche (24) angeordnet ist, und die Seitenwand (26, 40) eine kontinuierliche Innenfläche (28) hat, die im wesentlichen senkrecht zu der Pralloberfläche (24) steht und worin zwischen der Seitenwand (28) und der Pralloberfläche (24) eine Ecke (28A) mit einem im wesentlichen rechten Winkel ausgebildet ist sowie zwischen der Seitenwand (28) und dem inneren Ringabschnitt (42) der oberen Oberläche eine Ecke (28B) mit einem im wesentlichen rechten Winkel vorliegt.
- Prallplatte für ein Zwischengefäß nach Anspruch 1, worin die Öffnung (30) eine lange Anmessung (30') und eine kurze Abmessung (30''), die senkrecht zur langen Anmessung angeordnet ist, aufweist.
- Prallplatte für ein Zwischengefäß nach Anspruch 2, worin die Öffnung (30) viereckig oder oval ist.
- Prallplatte für ein Zwischengefäß nach Anspruch 1, 2 oder 3, worin die obere äußere Oberfläche (32) der Platte parallel zu der Pralloberfläche (24) angeordnet ist.
- Prallplatte für ein Zwischengefäß nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, worin die Seitenwand (26, 40) endlos ist.
- Prallplatte für ein Zwischengefäß gemäß einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, worin die Platte (20) aus einem monolithischen feuerfesten Material mit einem Aluminiumoxidgehalt von 55 bis 85 Gew% besteht.
- Prallplatte für ein Zwischengefäß nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, worin die Platte (20) aus einem monolithischen feuerfesten Material mit einem Gehalt an Magnesiumoxid besteht und 58 bis 93 Gew% Magnesiumoxid enthalten sind.
- Zwischengefäß (10) zum Halten eines Volumens von geschmolzenem Stahl (16), mit einem Boden (15) und Seitenwänden (12), die einen Prallbereich und einen Anlauf (14) aufweisen, worin das Zwischengefäß (10) auf dem Boden (15) in dem Prallbereich mit einer Prallplatte (20), wie sie in einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche beansprucht wird, ausgerüstet ist.
- Zwischengefäß nach Anspruch (8), worin die Prallplatte (20) eine Öffnung (30) zur Aufnahme eines Stroms aus geschmolzenem Metall aufweist, die eine lange Abmessung (30') und eine kurze Abmessung (30''), welche senkrecht zu der langen Abmessung (30') angeordnet ist, hat, wobei die lange Abmessung (30') der Öffnung (30) mit der langen Abmessung des Zwischengefäßes fluchtet.
