Claims (9)

  1. Dalle d'impact (20) pour panier de coulée comportant un corps constitué d'un matériau réfractaire capable de résister au contact avec un acier en fusion situé dans un panier de coulée (10), le corps comportant une base (22) ayant une surface d'impact (24), une paroi latérale extérieure (26, 40) s'étendant vers le haut à partir de la surface d'impact (24), une surface supérieure (32) reliée à la paroi latérale (26, 40), une ouverture (30) étant définie dans la surface supérieure, laquelle ouverture fournit un accès ouvert pour l'acier en fusion vers la surface d'impact (24) et à partir de celle-ci, la surface supérieure (32) ayant une partie annulaire intérieure (42) sensiblement parallèle à la surface d'impact (24), et la paroi latérale (26, 40) ayant une face intérieure continue (28) sensiblement perpendiculaire à la surface d'impact (24), un coin sensiblement à angle droit (28A) étant formé entre la paroi latérale (28) et la surface d'impact (24) et un coin sensiblement à angle droit (28B) étant formé entre la paroi latérale (28) et la partie annulaire intérieure (42) de la surface supérieure.
  2. Dalle d'impact pour panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle l'ouverture (30) a une grande dimension (30') et une petite dimension (30'') perpendiculaire à la grande dimension.
  3. Dalle d'impact pour panier de coulée selon la revendication 2, dans laquelle l'ouverture (30) est rectangulaire ou ovale.
  4. Dalle d'impact pour panier de coulée selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, dans laquelle la surface extérieure supérieure (32) de la dalle est parallèle à la surface d'impact (24).
  5. Dalle d'impact pour panier de coulée selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la paroi latérale (26, 40) est sans fin.
  6. Dalle d'impact pour panier de coulée selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la dalle (20) est constituée d'un matériau réfractaire monolithique ayant une teneur en alumine de 55 % à 85 % en poids.
  7. Dalle d'impact pour panier de coulée selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans laquelle la dalle (20) est constituée d'un matériau réfractaire monolithique comportant de la magnésie et comportant 58 % à 93 % en poids de magnésie.
  8. Panier de coulée (10) destiné à maintenir un volume d'acier en fusion (16) ayant un fond (15) et des parois latérales (12) délimitant une zone d'impact et un drain (14), le panier de coulée (10) comportant une dalle d'impact (20) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes située sur le fond (15) dans la zone d'impact.
  9. Panier de coulée selon la revendication 8, dans lequel la dalle d'impact (20) a une ouverture (30) pour recevoir un flux de métal en fusion, l'ouverture (30) ayant une grande dimension (30') et une petite dimension (30'') perpendiculaire à la grande dimension (30') et la grande dimension (30') de l'ouverture (30) étant alignée avec la grande dimension du panier de coulée.
