Definitions

  • the subject of the invention is a new dispensing bottle, allowing a controlled and possibly metered distribution of its content, while providing pleasant grip.
  • this bottle is provided with a system sealing which prevents in particular air degradation of the product during its storage and / or between two uses.
  • a dropper usually includes a reservoir having a pressure raising means, usually a pear, to one of its ends and a reduced opening at the other end.
  • a pressure raising means usually a pear
  • the use is as follows: air is driven from the tank by actuation of the pressure raising means, the end comprising the reduced orifice is immersed in a bottle containing the product to be dosed and the product enters the reservoir by loosening the means pressure rise. The product is then dispensed by actuation of the pressure raising means.
  • Such dropper systems are not suitable for the distribution of creamy consistency products or gels and all viscous products in general. Indeed, products of this consistency can only go back up through the reducer, air bubbles being drawn into the tank at the same time as the product and part of the product inevitably sticks to the outside wall of the dropper.
  • each use of the dropper requires a prior opening of the bottle and therefore bringing the product into contact with the oxygen in the air.
  • bottles with more or less deformable walls provided a reducing end offering a measured distribution of the product which they contain by simple pressure on their walls.
  • These bottles pressed to the full hand, have the disadvantage of not offering a very fine dosage of the distribution.
  • their walls being deformable, they cannot be transported in luggage only with certain precautions, that is to say sheltered from all pressure and shock. If the addition of a tight closure system to the reducer prevents accidental leaks, there is always the risk of see the wall of the bottle give way under too much pressure.
  • vials tend to warp over time, especially to keep the concave shape imprinted by hand pressure.
  • Document FR-2656240 describes a semi-permanent sealing device for filling and dispensing of a product contained in a constituted tank a flexible pocket. This document neither describes nor suggests the application of such a device to another application than filling and dispensing a tank.
  • the subject of the invention is a dispensing bottle, comprising: a) - a reservoir containing a product and provided with at least two openings, a first opening, ending with a collar; b) - at least one means of pressurizing the tank ; c) - a means of braking and retention of the product or reducer, located in the vicinity of a second opening; d) - a means of fixing the means of pressurization on the first opening of the tank; characterized in that it further comprises a sealing device capable of passing, at least prior to first use, from a first position in which the tank is separated, in an airtight manner, from the pressurization means, a second position in which the seal between the tank and the means of pressurization is broken.
  • the transition from the first position to the second position is done irreversibly, before first use.
  • the sealing device is arranged so as to ability to move from first to second position on each new use.
  • the first opening is formed by a one-way valve, suitable to open in the direction of the reservoir body and to prevent the product from entering up to pressurization means.
  • the product to be dispensed can be a paste, a cream, a gel, a liquid, loose powder, and generally any dosage form except a solid compact.
  • the body of the bottle is chosen with sufficient rigidity to do not deform under normal manual pressure under conditions usual use.
  • a naturally rigid material like for example glass or aluminum.
  • thermoplastic materials such as polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene or copolymers of ethylene, propylene and / or styrene, these materials being used at thicknesses sufficient to give them rigidity desired.
  • the braking and retention means which is chosen according to the nature of the product, prevents the product from coming out of the bottle in the absence of pressure.
  • the bottle optionally includes a cover C R , cooperating with the second end of the bottle where the reducer is placed.
  • the object of the invention relates more particularly to fluid products, such as lotions, in particular milks and shampoos, gels, creams, foams, whose distribution we want to control.

  • the bottles according to the invention allow controlled distribution and possibly a dosage of such products.
  • the sealing device ensures that the contents of the tank do not come into contact with air during the whole the duration of storage and possibly between two uses.
  • bottles according to the invention prohibit any direct contact between the manipulator and inside the tank. Thus, the risks of microbial contamination are extremely limited.
  • the assembly consisting of the pressurization means, of the first end P of the bottle and of the fixing means comprises at least a disposable or semi-permanent sealing medium.
  • the disposable sealing means which can be used in the present invention consist for example of a tear-off or pierceable seal which is punctured or torn during the first use by actuation of the pressurization means.
  • this cover consists of a aluminum foil or polyethylene film or any other material easily tearable, and the pressurization means is provided with a striker which pierces or tears the lid when the means are pressed pressurization.
  • This cover can be fixed indifferently by means of pressurization, at the neck of the bottle, by means of attachment or bonding or welding means which hold parts fixed together.
  • the cover must advantageously be made of material impermeable to air and to the components of the formula in order to prevent them from migrate out of the tank during storage; this material must also be chemically inert with respect to the formula used.
  • the semi-permanent sealing means may consist of a device for binding comprising two positions: an open position and a closed position, that can be operated with a simple gesture.
  • a device for binding comprising two positions: an open position and a closed position, that can be operated with a simple gesture.
  • a device consists of at least two integral and fixed parts, one at the neck of the bottle and the other by means of pressurization. These two parts can be placed in two different relative positions, by a simple movement of one of these parts. In one of these two positions a passage or a channel crossing the fixing means connects the pressurization means with the tank, in the other position this passage or this channel no longer exists or is closed and the closure between the pressurizing means and the reservoir is waterproof.
  • Such sealing means well known to those skilled in the art, operate by an opening movement closing by rotation, by vertical, horizontal, lateral movement, by rocker.
  • the neck of the bottle, at the end of the first opening P has a reduced portion, so as to limit the possibility for the product to rise to the pressure medium.
  • the pressurization means and the reservoir communicate by a channel narrow, like a capillary canal.
  • the capacity of the pressurization means is less than the volume of the bottle. So we can distribute the product so controlled. Usually we choose a capacity by means of pressurization ranging from 0.1ml to 5ml. Preferably the capacity of the means pressurization ranges from 0.2% to 25% of the volume of the bottle. So we cannot not accidentally exert strong pressure on the medium pressurization which could cause a significant emptying of the bottle.
  • the capacity the pressurization means is adjusted by the skilled person according to of the rheology, in particular of the viscosity, of the product and of the dose of use usual of this product.
  • the pressurization means consists of a pear made of elastomeric material, a piston or a bellows connected to the first opening P by means of a fixing means known to those skilled in the art loom, such as by snapping or by screwing. If the means pressurization consists of a pear, it may be of any shape.
  • the pressurization means can be surmounted by a button to press in rigid material.
  • the assembly consisting of the pressurization means, the fixing means and the neck is partially encapsulated in a rigid part. This encapsulation partially protects the means of shock pressurization; it provides better sealing of the attachment of the means pressurization on the neck of the body as well as a better grip of the dispenser bottle. This encapsulation can be achieved by any means known to a person skilled in the art, for example by overmolding the rigid part around of the assembly consisting of the pressurization means, of the fixing means and cervix.
  • the rigid part is made of any rigid material, such as example a thermoplastic, among which mention may be made of polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene or copolymers of ethylene, propylene and / or styrene, these materials being used at thicknesses sufficient for their impart the desired rigidity.
  • a thermoplastic among which mention may be made of polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene or copolymers of ethylene, propylene and / or styrene, these materials being used at thicknesses sufficient for their impart the desired rigidity.
  • the rigid part and the elastomeric bulb can be molded in a single piece of thermoplastic material, the thickness of which varies according to of the desired rigidity.
  • the rigid part can also consist of two separate parts which are assembled around the assembly consisting of the means pressurization, the fixing means and the neck by screwing, by snapping, by bonding or by any other means known to those skilled in the art.
  • the piece of rigid material may include a cover for protect the pressurization means.
  • the pressurizing means When the pressurizing means is partially encapsulated in the rigid part, the encapsulation is carried out so that the means pressurization is inside a hollow cavity in the room rigid, and the pressurizing means is flush with the surface of the part rigid or that it is substantially set back from this surface. So, when the user holds the bottle in his hand, he must reach the means pressurization with his finger and does not risk actuating it by mistake.
  • the advantageous rigid nature of the entire bottle allows a good grip and very firm grip.
  • the rigid part protects the pressurization means and avoids that it is not activated by accident.
  • the bottle can be provided with two means of pressure placed symmetrically with respect to the first opening P, in to facilitate handling of the bottle.
  • This variant allows you to exercise simultaneous pressure with the thumb on one side and with another finger, preferably the index finger, by the same hand, on the other side of the bottle and allows the user a good grip associated with a very good control of the flow.
  • the reducer allowing the distribution of the product is chosen according to the product to distribute.
  • the diameter of its distribution channel is chosen according to the rheology, and in particular the viscosity of the product, so that the absence of pressure on the pressurization means, the product does not flow not spontaneously through this channel.

  • the reducer inlet and outlet are defined by the direction of flow of the product.
  • This holding cell can by example be constituted by the walls of the reducer, if it is of a length sufficient in relation to its width depending on the viscosity of the product for ensure good retention, or by a chimney extending into the tank which extends the walls of the reducer; it can also be formed by a annular rim at the entrance to the cell.
  • the retaining cell keeps a small amount of product available for immediate distribution even if the bottle has been stored in a position other than reducing at the bottom. This quantity of reserve allows, in in addition, by its sufficient height, to prevent the passage of air contained in the tank, through the product, when you activate the means of pressurization. Finally, the holding cell allows better exhaustion of the content from the bottle.

  • This attachment is preferably sealed, so that a pressure exerted on the pressurizing means is fully retransmitted in the body of the bottle and results in a flow of the product.
  • the fixing of the pressurization means on the neck can be ensured by the means of pressurization itself: for example, the means of pressurization can be extended by a skirt which has a profile complementary to the profile of the neck of the bottle.
  • the fixing of the pressurization means on the neck of the bottle can also be ensured by a rigid ring overmolded or not on the pressurization means.
