Abstract

Verfahren und Brenner zum Verbrennen von Wasserstoff in einer Diffusionsverbrennung, wobei der Wasserstoff (GH2) und ein Oxidator in einen Brenner (1) eingeleitet werden, wobei ferner die Hauptstromrichtung durch die Stromrichtung (4) des Oxidators definiert wird, und der Wasserstoff in einer im wesentlichen senkrecht zur Hauptstromrichtung gerichteten Querströmung (3) zu den einzelnen Brennzonen verteilt wird, wobei als Oxidator Luft verwendet wird und die Querströmung mit einer Feinverteilung auf eine Vielzahl von einzelnen Mikrobrennzonen verbunden ist.
Hierbei ist insbesondere vorteilhaft, daß der fertigungstechnische Aufwand trotz einer erheblichen Steigerung der Anzahl der Brennzonen gering bleibt.
