Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Brennerelement (1) sowie ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines solchen Brennerelementes (1) in im wesentlichen rohrförmiger Ausgestaltung aus keramischem Material für einen Strahlungsbrenner, der mit Brennstoffen betreibbar ist. Um ein konstruktiv einfaches Brennerelement möglichst preisgünstig herstellen zu können, ohne daß auf der Mantelfläche eine ungleichmäßige Verbrennung durchgeführt wird, wird vorgeschlagen, daß mehrere miteinander verbundene, im wesentlichen gleich ausgebildete plattenförmige Keramikelemente (3) vorgesehen sind, die über ihre gesamte Fläche eine Vielzahl von Durchtrittskanälen (19) für das Brennstoff-Luftgemisch aufweisen, wobei die Keramikelemente (3) in einem geschlossenen Polygonzug zueinander angeordnet sind.
