Definitions
- shower holders have the purpose of a hand shower in different axial positions on a shower rail to be able to attach the - generally in vertical Alignment - at a distance from the wall of the bathroom or the like is mounted. You point to this a clamping device on which a clamping piece in different dimensions against the outer surface of the Press the shower rail.
- the design can be such that the clamping device only has a braking force generates enough, an unintentional shift the shower holder and the hand shower under the To prevent the influence of gravity.
- the hand shower with shower holder by a light Train to be moved on the shower rail.
- the object of the present invention is a shower holder of the type mentioned with a clamping device to be provided with different profiles the groove provided on the back of the shower rail is usable.
- the shower holder is jammed on the shower rail by two clamping jaws, which in can be pushed apart in different ways.
- the jaws act on the side surfaces of the groove the back of the shower rail together, being irrelevant is the angle at which these side surfaces face each other the rear of the shower rail are employed.
- the Grooves on the back of the shower rail can therefore practically have any profile.
- the movement apart of the two jaws is done by one Spreading projection, which in the relative movement of the clamping piece and spreading projection in the gap to different degrees penetrates between the two jaws. All parts of the Clamping device can be inexpensively made of plastic be made.
- the relative movement between the clamping piece and the spreading projection such that the clamping piece as a linearly displaceable Clamping slide is designed while the spreading projection is stationary.
- the required movement of the clamp slide can be simply according to a further embodiment of the invention thereby achieve that the clamping slide from an actuating rod is slidable in a stationary Part is screwable and a manual actuator at the outer end wearing.
- the clamp slide can continue on the spreading projection to (causing a stronger jam) or away from the spreading projection (which causes the jam is solved) are moved.
- That embodiment of the is particularly advantageous Invention in which the clamping piece and the jaws are made in one piece from plastic, whereby the jaws each over relatively narrow Material bridges elastic with a main body of the Clamp are connected. So the clamp can be produced in a single operation, whereby on the necessary spreadability of the two Jaws from the elastic properties of the relatively narrow plastic material bridges use is made.
- the rod guide part remains which holds the shower rail in a form-fitting manner, non-rotatable relative to the latter, while the housing of the shower holder and of course the one attached to it Hand shower opposite the bar guide part and thus the Shower rail is pivotable. Due to the oblique position the clamping surfaces on the clamping piece or the cooperating Areas of the clamping piece and the spreading projection a kind of cam effect achieved, which with a relative movement of the clamping piece and the spreading projection at the same time a radial evasive movement of the moving part (clamping piece or expansion projection). Through this evasive movement, the rod guide part jammed on the housing, so that a twist of the housing opposite the rod guide part is braked or blocked. In other words: the Fixing the hand shower opposite the shower rail takes place both in the axial direction and in the azimuthal direction Direction by the same manual actuator that is on acts on a single clamp.
- the hand shower can be pivoted about a horizontal axis, such that that the shower jets at different angles emerge from the hand shower to the vertical.
- an embodiment of the invention is recommended, in which the holding device on a holding part is formed, which at least compared to the housing is rotatable by a certain angle.
- the force required to pivot the holding part is expediently by a braking device adjust that between the holding part and the housing is arranged.
- the slit-like recess expanded somewhat elastically, so that the holding part with the protruding bearing protrusions can be introduced until the corresponding Bores in the side walls of the slot-like recess face each other. Then these holes snap onto the Storage projections elastic.
- the housing consists of a the supporting structure forming the inner housing and one outer housing, which consists of several together releasably connected parts is composed.
- This viewing housing is in an advantageous embodiment assign another function to the invention, in which the viewing housing over the rod guide part has placed shoulders, which the rod guide part fix axially.
- the shower holder shown in the drawing serves to that, which is usually arranged on the handle of a hand shower Holding cone with the usually vertical Directed on the wall of a bathroom Connect shower rail.
- the connection should be like this be that the shower holder runs in the longitudinal direction move the shower rail in any axial Determine positions and at the same time around the vertical, pivoted by the shower rail predetermined axis can be.
- the attached to the shower holder Hand shower tilted in relation to the shower holder can be that the shower jets under different Extend the angle from the vertical can.
- the shower holder shown in the drawing has four main components: an inner case 1, the already mentioned rod guide part 2, on which a clamping mechanism to clamp against the shower rail is provided, the cone holding part also mentioned above 3 and an outer viewing housing 26.
- Inner housing 1 has a receiving bore which is circular in cross section 4 whose outer diameter matches the outer diameter of the rod guide part 2 matches and in which the latter is rotatably received.
- the rod guide part 2 is with an axial through opening 5 provided, whose profile to the outer profile the shower rail is complementary to which the shower holder to be attached.
- the shower rail is a shower rail with a non-circular cross-section on the front, the side facing the user from an arcuate Area is limited, which is a relatively large Radius while the shower bar is at the back, So towards the wall of the bathroom, an arched one Has an area with a relatively small radius, in which in the middle a forward towards the user, jumping groove incorporated with sloping side walls is.
- These sloping side walls in the hidden, from So users do not serve visible groove, as later is still explained, the jam of the shower holder on the shower rail. Because the clamping surfaces for the user mechanical damage will not be visible on them through the course of use the constant clamping and grinding of the clamping mechanism are not perceived as annoying by the user.
- the through opening 5 of the Rod guide part 2 for the outer contour of the not shown shower rail largely complementary.
- the rib-like projection 5c has symmetrical to the center plane of the shower holder, two at an angle to this Clamping surfaces 5d and 5e set in the middle plane.
- the Main body 7a in which the coupling head 11 is anchored is, two jaws 7b, 7c formed so that they only over a relatively narrow, elastic material bridge communicate with the main body 7a.
- the two clamping jaws 7b and 7c of the clamping slide 7 are separated from one another by a gap 13.
- a wedge-shaped spreading projection projects from this gap 13 14, which at the right in Figures 3 and 4 of the end Formed recess 6 of the rod guide part 2 is.
- the clamping device is preferably used so that the Weight of the hand shower with shower hose and the shower holder is being compensated for, that is, the shower holder with a hand shower attached without the influence of external forces remains in its axial position by axial pull or thrust can be moved easily. The same applies to the rotatability of the housing the shower holder with the hand shower attached.
- a low braking force is achieved when the Clamping slide 7 (by turning the rotary handle accordingly 10) at the left end of the recess 6 in the drawing Rod guide part 2 is located. Stands out in this position the spreading projection 14 only with its outermost, relatively narrow end in the gap 13 between the jaws 7b and 7c of the clamping slide 7.
- the jaws 7b and 7c are therefore only relatively few or not at all in the through opening 5 of the rod guide part 2 pushed in.
- the outer surfaces the jaws 7b and 7c and thus the entire shower holder thus slide relatively easily onto the corresponding one Clamping surfaces along the shower rail.
- the clamping slide 7 by turning of the twist grip 10 in FIGS. 3 and 4 moved to the right.
- the jaws 7b and 7c increasingly on the expansion projection 14 of the rod guide part 2 on. Because of the wedge shape, the two Jaws 7b, 7c increasingly around the material bridges that connect them to the main part 7a of the clamping slide 7, pivoted outwards. They penetrate deeper this way into the through opening 5 of the rod guide part 2 or lie against those located there Clamping surfaces of the shower rail.
- the jaws 7b, 7c have a V-shaped cross section provided so that they are in the direction perpendicular to Can clamp spring surface of the shower rail. Tolerance differences the shower rail can be compensated in this way; blocking or slipping of the shower holder can so do not occur.
- a slot-shaped recess 17 In the end opposite the through hole 4 of the housing 1 is a slot-shaped recess 17 incorporated, whose upward pointing in the drawing, arcuate boundary surface 17a a diameter having the outer diameter of the substantially cylindrical cone holding part 3 matches.
- the cone holding part 3 has its opposite Sides of cylindrical bearing projections 18, of which one can be seen in FIG. 1.
- the bearing protrusions 18 each engage in a bore 19 which the slot-like recess 17 with a side surface of the Inner housing 1 connects.
- the bearing projections 18 can by elastic spreading of the side walls of the slit-like Recess 17 inserted into the bores 19 be, whereby the cone holding part 3 rotatable in Inner housing 1 is mounted.
- the cone holding part 3 is known per se Way with a conical receiving bore 20, which via a slot 21 with the lower External surface of the cone holding part 3 is connected.
- the receiving bore 20 becomes the holding cone of the hand shower introduced, the one connected to the hand shower Pass the shower hose through the slot 21 can.
- the arcuate recess 22 of the cone holding part 3 together with the pin 23 limits the angle in order which the cone holding part 3 relative to the inner housing 1 can be pivoted.
- the half shells 26a, 26b are viewed from the side of the unit mentioned guided and then elastic with each other in a suitable manner locked or otherwise releasably connected.
- Shoulders 26c and 26d of the viewing housing 26 are laterally offset Steps 27, 28 of the rod guide part 2 and secure the axial position of this part.
