Definitions
- the invention relates to a switching device according to the preamble of claim 1.
- an infrared motion detector is used both for switching room lighting on and off.
- Such a solution is known for example from US-A-4 433 328.
- the object of the invention is a switching device according to the Preamble of claim 1 to improve in that without elaborate additional devices even slight movements in Space remaining people are detectable.
- Switching device can be expanded arbitrarily, with it in mind the task is advantageous, at least two first motion detectors to be arranged so that they separate, if necessary Capture overlapping areas. Switching off the In this case, room lighting only occurs if all motion detectors no longer register movement. This makes it possible certain areas of a room, e.g. B. a desk area, monitoring that is particularly sensitive to undergo. As a rule, one will not rely on one want to limit the automatic switch-off of the room lighting, so that you can install at least a second motion detector which is then set up as a passive infrared motion detector can be, and the room lighting during movements detected by him switches on. It is also possible to use the first Motion detector with the second motion detector in one device summarize, which then fulfills both functions, i.e. the Room lighting can switch on and off.
- the automatically acting switching device can you also combine a manually operated switch so that switching the room lighting on and / or off is optional can also be done by hand. It is useful here with a appropriate programming that allows to work with help automatic switch off of the manually operated switch room lighting by a certain type of switch actuation, e.g. B. by double-pressing to block.
- a significant increase in the sensitivity of the first motion detector can be achieved in that this optical means has at least within the area to be monitored form two beams, according to shape and size are about the same.
- the optoelectric Sensor with the help of two equipolar ones in series Build light-sensitive units, their center tap then to be connected to an amplifier so that a difference signal arises from both parts of the series connection.
- the Photosensitive units can also be connected in parallel several individual elements of the same number exist.
- the usual method is used to form the radiation lobes optical devices with the help of lenses and / or mirrors and / or panels. Then depends on their dimensioning Shape and size of the radiation lobes.
- For the differentiated Monitoring of a larger area of the room can be done to counter phase Radiation reception suitable light-sensitive units multiple times within the first motion detector, e.g. B. arrange in the form of a row or matrix.
- the variant of a sensor S shown in FIG. 1 shows one Series connection of single-pole light sensitive one behind the other Modules LE1, LE2.
- the series connection is about supplied with a supply voltage and has a center tap M connected to a current-voltage converter V. is. This keeps the working point of the photosensitive Units stable and only amplifies the current difference from both.
- the basic signal levels generated by background reflection are largely compensated for, so that only through Movement-induced alternating signals the evaluation electronics E of a receiver EM.
- a particularly good suppression of the background radiation is achieved through the formation of radiation lobes.
- FIG. 2 Here are from a transmitter SE, which in this case also serves as room lighting serves to emit light beams LS, which is a transmitter side Generate radiation beam KS.
- LS which is a transmitter side Generate radiation beam KS.
- This encloses at least two adjacent radiation lobes K1, K2 on the receiver side with the help of suitable optical means OM from a receiver EM be generated. These are precisely defined areas from which reflected light radiation LS to the receiver EM.
- Fig. 3 an arrangement is shown schematically, which allows automatically switch room lighting 5 on and off.
- room lighting that emits light rays 6 5 connected to a lighting switch 4, which via a Evaluation electronics 3 can be activated.
- the latter receives her Input signals from a first motion detector 1 and one second motion detector 2.
- the second motion detector can be a usual passive infrared motion detector that detects the movements a moving object 7 registered and the evaluation electronics 3 possibly causes the lighting switch 4 to be switched on.
- the first motion detector 1 is designed that it works in the frequency range of visible light and responsive to reflected light rays 8, which with the help of emitted light beams 6 on a reflective body 7 be generated.
- This reflecting body 7 moves forward an essentially homogeneous background, so with the already measures described the sensitivity of the first motion detector 1, the second anyway due to its design Motion detector 2 is superior to be further increased. This is thus even the smallest by the moving body 7 caused radiation changes react. In the absence of the The first motion detector 1 can thus detect changes in radiation an appropriate delay time the evaluation electronics 3 cause the lighting switch 4 to turn off. Sometimes however, one will be interested in the automatic to be replaced by a manual control and rather one for this Operate the provided hand switch 10.
- This hand switch 10 is integrated in the lighting switch in the present case and coded in such a way that when the button is pressed twice briefly, the Automatic shutdown overrides.
