Definitions
- the invention relates to a threshold with a formed as a hollow profile threshold body, and with a attached to it cover, which is a recess of the Threshold body covers and on the latter by means of snap connection is attached.
- Such a threshold is from DE-OS 43 10 013 known.
- the recess of the sleeper body is considered to be longitudinal continuous groove formed, through the bottom of the groove a dowel inserted into the floor to fasten the threshold becomes.
- the head of a fastening screw that is in the dowel is screwed into place in the groove.
- the groove is through closed the lid, the screw head or in the case several fastening points covered several screw heads become.
- the snap connection between the lid and the Threshold body can be designed so that a release of the Cover without the risk of destroying the locking connection not possible. This sets a previously applicable one Assembly ahead, as well as a correct cutting of the cover. However, this can be used when using the door sill not be counted by laypeople.
- the invention is therefore based on the object To improve the threshold with the characteristics mentioned at the beginning, that the lid is only weakly attached to the sleeper body is to attach and remove it several times can that the lid but also tight with the Threshold body can be connected if the solubility is not or no longer required.
- a safety device is arranged on the sleeper body is that the latched cover in a first securing position detachable or in a second securing position practically insoluble.
- the safety device intended for this is corresponding adjustable.
- the adjustability is designed that the lid to be locked is either detachable or practical is not releasably secured. With detachable securing of the cover the snap connection can be easily disconnected. So it is possible to cover and the threshold body for packaging to connect to each other in a simple way to be able to manufacture a packaging unit. It is also without further possible, the lid at the place of installation of the Threshold body releasably connected to this, if necessary to have access to the groove later.
- the threshold body any training, e.g. confined as a concave cavity radial extent.
- the cost of materials for the training of the lid as a flat rail it is the cost of materials for the training of the lid as a flat rail, however, the manufacturing effort thereby reducing that both the longitudinal continuous groove of the sleeper body, as well as the flat Rail manufactured in a conventional manner by extrusion can be.
- the securing points to arrange for the snap connection, so with such a distance from each other as that due to the required installation and mounting conditions is deemed necessary.
- the threshold can be designed so that the Cover a locking projection engaging in the recess has which can be acted upon by the security device.
- the safety device acts indirectly or immediately on the lid.
- the locking projection of the lid can be designed as a relay, so attached the cover indirectly on the sleeper body.
- the door threshold trained so that the securing device supporting a locking projection near the cover plate first locking projection and a locking projection in the second securing projection supporting the bottom of the recess having.
- the two locking tabs influence the locking connection either near the Cover plate or near the bottom. You can accordingly different influence on the locking projection exercise.
- the securing projections are of different lengths and accordingly act differently elastic.
- the safety advantage with the greater elasticity accordingly becomes the first Assigned securing position, which can be released during the Securing projection with the lower elasticity of the second Security position is assigned in which the lid is practically insoluble. It depends on the constructive education the securing device, which of the two securing projections is more elastic.
- the threshold is designed so that the locking projections from the area of the bottom of the recess project vertically and with locking grooves of the locking projection interact, has the effective near the cover plate Compared to security lug due to its longer length on the other hand, the greater elasticity and forms the first securing position. Do it the locking grooves of the locking projection especially that by that Snap a locking projection into a locking groove of the Latching projection an reaching the locking or securing position becomes clearly recognizable during assembly.
- Such a carrier disc can be easily in the recess of the threshold body are attached.
- To the threshold is designed so that the carrier disc screwed to the bottom of the recess and / or if necessary disc edges engaging in grooves in the recess is jammed.
- the screwing has the advantage of one particularly good connection strength.
- a jamming Carrier disc is easy to assemble and is sufficient for normal ones Cases of stress.
- the threshold In order to install the carrier disc in the recess of the To facilitate the threshold body, the threshold is designed so that the carrier disc is circular and with spring projections opposite the locking projections and / or twisting stops is provided.
- the lid with a roof surface sloping towards the outside can take into account installation and stability conditions but above all, the bevel of the lid serves to for example to drain water that gets onto the lid, so that it is not in the area of the safety device can reach.
- a threshold 10 is, for example in connection with frame bars 31 to build a door frame used. Because the on a floor surface, not shown Door sill to be fastened 10 on the spar side of one Is profiled deviating level, is a threshold holder 32 between the profiled outer surface of the door sill 10 and the flat end face facing this of the frame spar 31 conveyed. There is a seal for sealing 33 provided.
- the assembly is done by screwing, by the frame spar 31 with the sleeper holder 32 is connected by oval head screws 34, the by a fastening tab 35 of the threshold holder 32 in the frame spar 31 are screwed, and by the further Button head screws 36 by not visible from Fig.2 Fastening holes of the sleeper holder 32 and are screwed between holding ribs 37 which are open at the end, see. Fig. 1.
- the frame profile is seated 31 through the intermediary of the threshold holder 32 according to Fig.3 on the threshold 10 and covers only those located under the frame member 31 or the threshold holder 32 Part of the recess 13 from the wing side open area of the recess 13 according to Figure 4 with the Lid 12 must be closed.
- a fastening of the door sill 10 on the not shown Soil takes place, for example, with the one shown in FIG Dowel 38, the through a hole, not shown Threshold body 11 in a mounting hole of the Is inserted so that its collar 38 'on the floor 19th the recess 13 is seated. Then the mounting screw 39 screwed into the dowel until her head 39 'inside of the collar 38 'is arranged, see Fig.3.
- the recess 13 of the threshold body 11 is as longitudinal continuous groove formed, the substantially rectangular Cross section. Accordingly, she has two each other parallel opposite recess walls 22, between which the floor 19 vertical to them extends horizontally. In the corner areas between the recess walls 22 and the bottom 19 are grooves 25, see Fig.3, which are used to attach safety devices 15.
- the safety devices 15 that are appropriate to the certain securing points 16 are arranged, each a substantially circular carrier disc 24, the lies flat on the bottom 19 of the recess 13.
- the window edges 26 claw into the grooves 25 of the recess 13, so that the securing device 15 does not readily follow can be pulled out at the top.
- the installation of the safety device 15 is done by pushing in, the carrier disc 24 must be suitably elastic.
- she consists in addition, for example, made of plastic, as well as the others Components of the safety device 15.
- Safety projections 18.20 Other essential components of the security system 15 are vertically projecting upward from the carrier disk 24 Safety projections 18.20.
- the first safety advantage 20 is compared to the second locking tab 18 long trained. It extends from the 5c Carrier disc 24 up to the vicinity of the cover 12. In comparison the second securing projection 18 protrudes only slightly above. Both locking projections 18, 20 are on their outer End hook-like, as shown in Figures 5a to 5d without further information can be found.
- the locking projection 17 is the one recess wall 22 with a side surface 21 closely adjacent and claimed consequently only as much of the cross section of the recess 13 Space as needed due to its cross-sectional design is.
- the remaining space is the arrangement of the security device 15 or the arrangement of the dowel collar 38 ' to disposal. So that the locking projection 17 with the locking projections 18.20 despite their different lengths can interact, he is profiled accordingly. It has a longitudinally extending locking groove 17 'which is arranged in this way is that they are from the longer of the two locking tabs 18, 20 can be engaged if the cover 12 is mounted.
- a locking groove 17 '' is arranged in the locking projection 17, with which the hook of the locking projection 20 cooperate can if the cover 12 is mounted.
- the locking groove 17 'and the locking groove 17' ' are approximately as close together as it the corresponding height difference of the locking projections 18.20 or their hook corresponds.
- Fig.5a shows that the lid 12 on the vertical edge 40, which essentially closes by a cavity 41 Lid is formed, some distance from this Can have edge 40. The distance is big enough to be one Insert a screwdriver or similar lever 42 and lever open the cover 12 by moving in the direction of the arrow can. The prerequisite for this is that the safety lead 20 is in the position shown, which is also shown in Fig.5c becomes. When prying open the lid 12 is supported with his Bearing strip 43 on the sleeper body as shown and the locking connection 14 is released.
- FIG. 3 shows that the safety device 15 is also adjusted can be.
- An adjustment head 27 is provided for this purpose, which is in one piece with the carrier disc 24.
- Supervising is an engagement recess 28 for a in the adjustment head 27 Twist handle 29 available. This is shown with yours Tip inserted into the engagement recess 28 and the entire securing device 15 is rotated by 90 degrees. This position is shown in Fig.5d.
- the second securing projection 20 comes into rotation in the vicinity to the recess wall 22.
- the carrier disc 24 remains with its edges 26 in the grooves 25 of the recess 13 claws.
- Supporting 22 is diametrical to everyone Securing projection 18.20 a spring recess 49 in the vicinity arranged a disc edge 26 and forms there 6a visible spring parts 44, 45.
- the spring member 44 is arranged diametrically opposite the longer securing projection 20, without the outside diameter formed by the disk edges 26 to enlarge.
- the spring part 35 jumps radially over the edge of the pane 26, so that there is a corresponding strong clamping of the carrier disc 24 between the walls 22 results and thus a correspondingly strong fixation of the Safety projection 18.
- the carrier disc 24 with twist stops 46.47 provided. 6b shows the rotation stop 46 in the system on the left wall 22. Accordingly, the securing projection 20 adjacent to the other recess wall 22. In the Fig. 6b position corresponds to the representation in Fig. 5c. With the handle 29, the carrier plate 24 can be Intermediate positions of Fig.6c and 6d in the shown in Fig.6e Position are rotated. Then the twist stop lies 47 on the left wall 22. The shorter safety margin 18 is the opposite recess wall adjacent. To the carrier plate 24 both in their Position according to Fig.6b, as well as in their position according to Fig. 6e are to be secured in the vicinity of the pane edges 26 the projections 18, 20 according to FIG. 6a each have clamping cams 50 available, which cooperate with the grooves 25 of the recess 13.
- lid 12 is to be removable, an assembly made according to Fig.5a, for example to sell a Cutting a threshold 10 or trying it out Door threshold 10.
- the lid 12 should be as tight as possible the erectile tissue 11 are attached, the security device 15 in the position shown in Fig.5b or 5d rotated and the cover 12 is placed in accordance with FIG. 5b.
- a strong one sudden action on the lid 12 in the direction of Arrow of Fig.5b ensures that the extreme end or Edge of the strip-shaped locking projection 17 positioned so is that the hook of the locking projection 20 in the locking groove 17 '' of the locking projection 17 engages and thus the desired correspondingly rigid connection between cover 12 and threshold body 11 is reached.
- the cover 12 has a roof surface that is bevelled on the outside 30 provided, as shown in Fig.1.
