Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for wet paint spray painting objects with a device for collecting the excess paint, which has an air-permeable dry filter.
In order to collect the excess paint in wet paint spray painting (i.e. when spray painting liquid media, for example using spray nozzles or spray guns), it is already known to absorb the paint excess through a filter surface and then wash it out of this filter surface. In such a wet separation method, however, solvents which are not very environmentally friendly have to be used and, in addition, drying devices have to be provided in order to dry the filter material after washing out.
In addition to such wet separation processes, which are known, for example, from DE-OS 36 18 642 and DE-OS 43 00 400, it is also known to use air-permeable dry filters which, after they have been added by excess paint, are thrown away. This is not only uneconomical, but also unbearable from the point of view of environmental protection.
The object of the invention is to provide an environmentally compatible and inexpensive device for wet spray painting objects.
According to the invention, this is achieved in a device of the type mentioned at the outset in that the dry filter is arranged to be movable and a suction device is provided, which during a certain period Vacuum dried up paint particles from the dry filter.
The invention is based on the knowledge that it is not necessary to wash off the excess paint collected by the filter with liquid solvent in a wet separation process during wet paint spray painting, but rather that it is sufficient to suck off the excess paint from the dry filter after a certain drying distance so that it is not thrown away must become. Vacuuming filters has long been known in powder coating systems. In such systems, a powder, for example electrostatically, is applied to the objects to be coated and the excess powder is suctioned off (for example DE 28 13 854 C2). In contrast, the invention relates to another genre, namely wet paint spray painting with liquid media. In this wet paint spray painting, the excess paint adheres to the filter surface much more firmly than mere powder, and it was previously thought that either a dry filter had to be thrown away or washed out in a complex wet process. Surprisingly, however, tests by the applicant have shown that even in the case of wet spray painting of objects, the excess paint can be sucked off from a dry filter without a complex wet separation process.
It is particularly expedient if the suction device is arranged at a location which is distant from the area in which the dry filter absorbs the excess paint, because then the paint particles have enough time to dry completely and are therefore easy to extract even when the dry filter is moved continuously to be.

Es ist aber auch ein diskontinuierliches Bewegen möglich, beispielsweise in einem gesonderten Reinigungslauf am Abend.1 shows a device for the wet paint spray painting of objects 1 by means of a manually operated spray gun 2, which for example has a container for liquid paint and is connected to a
The

In order to enable the circulating
For guiding the rotating
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the suction opening 7 of the suction device is moved transversely to the direction of
In general, you will find enough to do with just vacuuming. For particularly stored cases, however, it is also possible to arrange a
