Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for collecting excess paint during spray painting.
When spray-painting workpieces, a paint coat is created shot, also called overspray, which in spray booths or on Splash walls is collected. The excess paint is in the Usually 20% to 40% of the amount of paint used. For separation of this excess paint are spray booths with dry separators walls and spray booths with water-sprinkled partition walls known. Such spray booths are available in open and closed execution.
With the dry separating walls, the excess paint is in one Intake air flow is atomized and drawn to the partition walls. The separating walls are provided with a filter fleece, in which the excess paint is absorbed. The filtered air is led outside. The filter fleece must be classified as hazardous waste to be disposed of. A recovery of the excess paint is not possible.
In the spray booths with water-sprinkled partition walls the excess paint washed out in a water curtain. The Excess paint is hereby washed out with the vortex Cabin water mixed. In the air flow of the cabin exhaust air Excess paint and the water, for example using a bump or droplet separators, removed from the paint / water mist again separates. The removal of excess paint from the exhaust air is however not completely, so that the quality of the exhaust air always remains impaired. The excess paint, however, can for example by ultrafiltration.
According to the current state of the art, either Excess paint not recoverable or the exhaust air through residual pollution is impaired.
The object of the invention is therefore a device to catch the excess paint during spray painting create with which the excess paint on the one hand completely can be filtered out of the exhaust air and on the other hand in a condition suitable for its recovery can be brought.
This object is achieved by a device with the characterizing features of claim 1 solved.
Similar to a dry separating wall, the paint becomes over shot caught in a filter. The exhaust air can be completely can be guided away to the outside cleaned. In contrast to the Existing dry separating walls remain the excess paint but not in the filter. The circulating filter is rather one Washout device assigned such that the excess paint can be washed out of the filter again and again. Since the Excess paint is not first atomized and then in a water pre slope is washed out, be in the washing facility Required amount of liquid less than with a conventional one Liche water-drenched partition is the case. Here will yes only the dirty part of the filter cleaned and not the Washed out excess paint atomized in the air stream. Dementspre The recovery of excess paint, for example by ultrafiltration, from a smaller amount of liquid respectively. The elimination of the nebulization of a mixture of what Water and paint in the exhaust air flow also causes the Ab air, as already mentioned, can be discharged completely cleaned can. This device is particularly suitable for solvents free water-based paints.
Below are several examples with reference to the drawing games of the subject matter described in more detail.

Fig. 6 zeigt ein fünftes Ausführungsbeispiel. Fig. 6 shows a fifth embodiment.
The device can be provided as an open bulkhead and as a spray booth open or closed on one side. The Ge housing 1 of the spray booth is only hinted at here. An exhaust air duct 2 is arranged in the region of the rear wall of the spray booth, with an outlet grille 3 . A filter belt 4 is guided by means of guide rollers 5 so that it largely covers the rear wall of the spray chamber on the one hand as a continuous endless belt and on the other hand is guided through a washing device 6 . From the washing device 6 consists essentially of the filter band 4 directed spray nozzles 7 and a catch basin 8th The necessary drive for the filter belt 4 is not shown. For this purpose, at least one of the guide rollers 5 is preferably driven by a motor.
When painting the workpiece 9 from a spray gun 10 , the excess paint hits the filter belt 4 , where it is filtered out and prevented from entering the exhaust air carried away through the exhaust air duct 2 . The filter belt 4 then passes through the washing device 6 , in which the excess paint is washed out by means of a sprayed from the spray nozzles 7 carrier liquid speed. The filter belt 4 which continues to run finally passes through a drying device 11 , which here consists of two squeezing-out rollers lying closely parallel to one another, which press the filter belt 4 dry. The carrier liquid is collected in the collecting basin 8 , from which it is returned to the spray nozzles 7 via a line 12 , by means of a pump 13 . When a predetermined paint concentration in the carrier liquid is reached, this can be guided away thanks to a valve 14 and fed to a separate filter system connected downstream.
The carrier liquid must be matched to the paint used be. For example, it consists of water with glycol derivatives and serves as an intermediate medium before the paint particles in the Filter system filtered out and reused can be performed. This filtering can be in itself known, for example by ultrafiltration, coagulation and filtering or by electrophoresis. The filter system need not necessarily immediately the Vorrich invention device downstream. It is also conceivable to get the dirty one Collect carrier fluid in a container for later use to supply a suitable filter system, which is also can be out of the house.
The embodiment of FIG. 2 corresponds to that of FIG. 1, only that a fan 15 is seen here on the exhaust air duct 2 . Fig. 3 shows how the device can also be designed as a so-called underfloor version. It is arranged under a floor grating 16 .
The structure of the filter belt 4 can be seen from FIG . It consists, for example, of a polyester fabric 17 to which a polyester fleece 18 is glued. The paint particles are caught in the polyester fleece, while the exhaust air escapes through the outlet grille 3 into the exhaust air duct 2 .
However, the filter surface does not necessarily have to consist of a circulating endless belt. As shown in FIG. 5, it is also conceivable to provide this as a vertical turntable 19 . Similar to the embodiments described above, the filter surface is cleaned in a washing device 6 . For this purpose, the circular turntable 19 rotating about a horizontal axis extends into the washing device 6 underneath. In addition, the filter surface could also consist of a cylinder 20 provided with the filter material. As shown in Fig. 6 that roller 20 could also rotating about a horizontal axis be designed bar. In this case, the exhaust air would be able to be extracted from the cylinder cavity. A washout device would also have to be arranged in the lower region.
