Definitions
- the invention relates to a rod magazine for a multi-load firearm, especially a self-loading pistol, with a Magazine tube with one output end, one in the magazine tube along a movement path from the end of the dispenser to an end stop movably arranged feeder and one Feeder loading magazine spring (generic term of Claim 1).
- a magazine for a submachine gun with the characteristics of The preambles of claims 1, 3 and 9 are from DE-AS 1,269,918.
- the invention is based on the problem that multi-load weapons, the one due to their original construction certain number of cartridges in their magazine, which in the the following "original magazine” is called, sometimes to be used where only one lower number of cartridges is permitted, for example sporting competitions or due to legal regulations, that are valid at the place of use. There must thus a magazine with reduced loading capacity is used will.
- customers are often reduced to a magazine Load capacity that looks like the original magazine resembles, due to its greater fidelity to the original - about for collector's sake - give preference, and one shortened magazine with an extension block already reject because of his appearance.
- the invention is the Based on another way of reducing the task Specify the loading capacity of a magazine.
- the spacer and the magazine base can be preferred be designed as a component or inseparably coupled, so that the magazine is forcibly only with the spacer can be used together, provided there is no structural Change is made.
- second solution step are the magazine base and the spacer separated from each other so complementary to each other trained that the magazine bottom piece does not function can meet if the spacer is not on his intended location.
- This either resolves the magazine base piece from its hold on the magazine tube or Magazine housing, or it breaks if the force of the Magazine spring not on the spacer, but on the Magazine bottom piece acts directly.
- this occurs this called dissolving or destructive effect at the latest then on if more cartridges (if there is no spacer) be loaded into the magazine than the reduced one Load capacity corresponds.
- the magazine base and the spacer to manufacture in one piece, with only the spacer on Magazine tube is held, but not the magazine bottom piece; now separate these two elements from each other and leave if you remove the spacer, there is no way to attach the magazine base to the magazine tube.
- the spring support piece can, for example, be an embossed one Sheet metal plate while the spacer is made of plastic can be made; according to the preferred embodiment according to claim 4, however, is the spring support piece integrally formed with the spacer, which is the advantage has that when removing the spacer also no suitable Spring support is present, which may otherwise have been modified could be.
- the spacer can preferably be a one-piece component be made of plastic; according to the preferred Embodiment according to claim 5, however, it is particularly of Advantage to produce the spacer in several parts; so is it is possible, for example, a particularly stressed Steel section to be made into the surrounding Plastic part can be inserted or injected.
- This connection is so according to claim 6 trained to have a relative movement of the spacer with regard to the magazine base piece, but without Destruction of the complete separation of these two elements makes impossible. So they stand by the mobility the spacer enabled training and advantages all at disposition, but just the removal of the Distance piece ultimately means the destruction of the Magazines, the connection of spacer and Magazine bottom piece can be chosen so that this for its part in the violent separation of the spacer must be damaged and becomes unusable.
- each a projection extends from the magazine floor lengthways at least two, opposite sides of the Magazine tube two resilient legs, at the ends of each a projection is formed which in a recess in the associated magazine wall engages, but this magazine wall does not engage, as shown in the document is, but only sits on the edge of the projection.
- the spacer is designed so that it is in its The projections rest from the inside of the magazine supports so that they do not come out of the recesses can move out.
- This inward movement can be caused by the bevel mentioned be initiated when a sufficiently high Force acts on the bottom of the magazine as it does in everyone Trap occurs when the magazine is missing Spacer beyond the reduced magazine capacity is replenished.
- Such a bevel is in accordance with the design Claim 10 not necessary because the training of Leg made of flexible plastic makes it possible by choice the flexibility of the plastic and the cross-section the thigh to ensure that this the respective Tilt the lead under load because it is on the side whose area of force transmission into the recess this is scheduled.
- the projections are not outward over the outer contour of the magazine tube so that it its insertion into a magazine shaft also via the Allowing protrusions beyond.
- the outer sides of the projections can according to claim 12 trained large and preferably with a handling facilitating structuring (such as ribs), whereby the gripping and pressing in of the projections when Disassembling the magazine is easier.
- a handling facilitating structuring such as ribs
- At least one is known per se Leading projection formed along the Inner surface of one or preferably both of the flat sides extends of the magazine tube.
- Leading projection formed along the Inner surface of one or preferably both of the flat sides extends of the magazine tube.
- Such a guide projection extends across the magazine to the cartridges over the entire height of the magazine and forms a support for the cartridges.
- Training extends the leadership lead only over the area where the cartridges are reduced Load capacity is available, but is below this No longer exist.
- an inhibitory projection is according to claim 16 provided by one of the flat sides protrudes so far inside that the feeder just barely touches it can walk past.
- the two exemplary embodiments each show a magazine for a self-loading pistol.
- the same reference numerals are used in each case.
- the magazines of the first embodiment (Figs. 1 and 2) as well the second embodiment (Figs. 3 and 4) each have a magazine tube 1 with an approximately rectangular cross section, the upper end of which has magazine lips 8.
- a feeder 7 is arranged on its underside has a spring support 12 on which the top of a stepped or stepped magazine spring 4 with a total of about rectangular cross-section.
- each ledge-shaped guide projection 10 which itself extends substantially across the cartridges.
- Fig. 1 shows the magazine according to the invention as it is up to full loading capacity is filled with cartridges 9; these are in the example shown ten cartridges 9.
- the magazine tube however, has a disproportionately larger size Length sufficient to hold 15 cartridges would.
- the exemplary embodiment realizes the following principle of solution: the outer dimensions of the well-known (15-shot) magazine will maintain its effective loading capacity but becomes (as irreversible as possible) (on only ten shots) decreased.
- the magazine base piece 2 on both sides one protruding upwards Leg 11 on the approximately in the middle of the flat sides of the Magazine tube 1 extends along its length and in each case on this.
- the upper ends of the legs 11 have outwardly projecting rectangular projections 5, which fit in rectangular Recesses 15 sit as openings in the Flat sides of the magazine tube 1 are formed.
- the outer sides of the projections 5 are ribbed, close and are flush with the outer surface of the magazine tube 1 big enough that it is thumb and forefinger of one hand can be pressed in the direction of arrows B, thus the magazine bottom piece 2 out of engagement with the magazine tube 1 loosen and remove.
- the spacer 6 is a hollow body closed at the bottom trained and has on its underside a central, cone-like extension 3, which is complementary to it trained hole engages in the magazine base piece 2.
- the spacer 6 has a widening above the hole with which to center it on the inside the leg 11 lies loosely.
- the spacer 6 As a spring support piece 13 formed on which the magazine spring 4 is seated.
- the spacer 6 a widening 14 which, like the lower one of abuts the inside of the legs 11, but not on the legs Bottom, but behind the protrusions 5. Under this Broadening is a beveled transition to that slimmer body of the spacer 6 before.
- the spacer 6 is from the magazine spring 4 in his Pressed rest position, which is shown in Fig. 1, and can with a suitable instrument, such as a cleaning rod, which from below the magazine base piece 2 in its hole is introduced and in the direction of arrow A against the Pin 3 presses to be lifted out of this rest position.
- a suitable instrument such as a cleaning rod
- the widening 14 In the rest position, the widening 14 is behind the tops of the protrusions 5 and prevents them can be moved in the direction of arrows B. Is this Spacer 6 raised in direction A, then located the widening 14 above the projections 5 and does not prevent this in the direction of arrows B so far to be pushed in until the magazine base piece 2 has been released.
- the bevelled lower edge of the widening 14 provides for the protrusions when assembling the magazine 5 are pressed fully out into the recesses 15.
- This force is the tensile force through the legs 11 to the Transfer projections 5, attacks them off-center and tilts the projections 5 more and more with their upper edges inside (the magazine base is made of plastic, the flexible with the small wall thickness of the legs 11 is) until the projections 5 out of the recesses 15 slip out.
- the magazine it is not possible to reach the full capacity of 15 Charge the shot when the spacer 6 is removed.
- This spacer 6 can in one or more parts be trained.
- the magazine shown in Fig. 1 also has one Inhibitory projection 6, which, however, is an optional feature forms and can optionally be omitted.
- This inhibitory projection is as one in one flat side of the Magazine tube 1 embossed, inwardly projecting projection trained, the bottom of ten cartridges 9 straight undertakes and so far into the interior of the magazine protrudes that the feeder 7 is just undisturbed can move.
- the inhibiting projection 16 is absent, then another occurs Feature in effect: as can be seen in FIG. 1, the strip-shaped guide projections 10 not up to Bottom of the magazine tube 1 extended, but sufficient only just below the tenth cartridge. If now at missing spacer 6 and missing (such as filed out) Inhibitory projection 16 more than ten cartridges 9 in that Magazine are loaded, then the eleventh cartridge 9 from below against the lower end of the Leading projection 10 and is of this when tracking disturbed, so that an inhibition of charging can be expected.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 largely agrees with the first and is so far not described further. Only the magazine bottom piece 2 and the spacer 6 differ from the corresponding elements of the first embodiment and are now described in more detail.
- the pin-like extension 3 has a larger one Diameter than that of Fig. 1.
- a tool for Pushing up the extension 3 can also be a relatively blunt object, such as a cartridge, be used.
- the area around the hole in the magazine base piece 2 is on the Deepened conically on the inside, so the cone-like Guide and center extension 3 during assembly.
- the legs 11, which have no forces during normal use must each have a predetermined breaking point, 3 as a groove in the respective leg 11 is shown.
- the predetermined breaking point is defined so that it is reliable then tears when a force of the magazine spring 4 exerted on the magazine base piece 2 that is a magazine filling of more than ten cartridges 9 corresponds.
- the cone-like extension 3 and similarly its receiving opening in the magazine base plate 2 enlarged so far be that the magazine spring 4 fits through this opening and thus no longer in the absence of spacer 6 Magazine base piece 2 can support.
- the second embodiment can also optionally characteristics contributing to its effect
