Abstract

Alors que le brevet EP-A-0 504 114 publié à cette fin préconise l'utilisation d'éléments rotatifs pour ouvrir l'enveloppe et pour en saisir le rabat, l'invention permet d'ouvrir et de saisir l'enveloppe (20) dans un premier plan de transport (13), d'insérer les documents (21) dans un autre plan de transport (12) étagé par rapport au premier et de prévoir, entre, une chaîne à maillons (10) pourvue de plusieurs éléments écarteurs (9). Cette chaîne à maillons (10) se déplace transversalement aux plans de transport (12, 13) et achemine et dépose les enveloppes (20) saisies par les éléments écarteurs (9) à l'endroit indiqué pour y insérer les documents (21).
