Definitions
- the invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
- the motor vehicle door lock from which the invention is based (US Pat. No. 5,240,296) has a central locking drive with a drive motor and a rotor which is driven in rotation by the drive motor by means of a worm gear.
- the actuating part can be brought into an unlocking position and a securing position and into a neutral position lying exactly in between by means of the rotor.
- the actuating part interacts with a central locking lever of the lock mechanism, which is mounted on an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor and has an otherwise T-shaped cutout with the narrow web directed radially outward.
- the unlocking position and the securing position of the actuating part are located in the web area of the cutout in approximately diametrically opposite positions.
- the actuating part thus swings the central locking lever back and forth about its axis between the unlocking position and the securing position. This pivoting movement then acts on the other levers in the lock mechanism.
- the actuating part normally assumes the neutral position lying in the middle between the securing position and the unlocking position, which lies in the transverse region of the T-shaped cutout, after a securing process or unlocking process. In this neutral position, the pivoting movement of the central locking lever between the locked position and the unlocked position is not hindered.
- An anti-theft position can be achieved in the previously described motor vehicle door lock in that the rotor moves the actuating part into the secured position and the drive motor switches off there. Now the actuating part is locked in the locked position, blocking the central locking lever, pulling on the inner locking lever or on the inner opening lever also realizing the inner locking mechanism cannot lead to unlocking the door lock.
- a clutch spring can be arranged on the one hand and the central locking lever on the other hand, between the inner locking lever or the inner locking lever realizing the inner locking.
- This clutch spring normally takes one lever with it when the other lever is mechanically actuated, but when the other lever is blocked, it allows one lever to move against the spring force. If in the previously described motor vehicle door lock the central locking drive is blocked in the anti-theft position or in any other intermediate position for whatever reason, the central locking lever cannot be moved; it is correspondingly permanently blocked. A repair in the workshop is essential.
- the invention has for its object to design a motor vehicle door lock of the type in question so that blocking the rotor of the central locking drive does not lead to permanent blocking in the security position or in the anti-theft position.
- the spring force of the actuating part can be used to predefine the defined spring force radially outwards, against which an emergency release, in particular from the external securing lever, is possible if necessary.
- an actuating part slidably mounted in a guide in the radial direction of the rotor is very easy to implement.
- an elastically evasive, ie inherently resilient actuating part can be an alternative if it is ensured that the required actuating forces can be transmitted to the levers in the circumferential direction.
- the basic structure of the motor vehicle door lock is first explained with reference to FIG. 1. It is a motor vehicle door lock with conventional locking elements such as a rotary latch and pawl, which are not shown here.
- a lock mechanism 1 and a central locking drive 2 can be seen.
- the central locking drive 2 has a drive motor 3 and a rotor 5 driven by the drive motor 3 here and according to preferred teaching by means of a worm gear 4.
- the rotor 5 itself forms the worm wheel of the worm gear 4 with its external toothing.
- Fig. 1 it is shown that the rotor 5 is rotated clockwise into the locking position and counterclockwise into the unlocking position.
- Abbreviations indicate the various positions that the actuating part 6 can assume when the rotor 5 rotates, namely firstly an unlocking position E and a locking position S.
- the rotor 5 can also bring the actuating part 6 into a neutral position N. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this applies so that the rotor 5 returns the actuating part 6 to the neutral position N by rotation after each actuation.
- Each activation of the central locking drive 2 thus leads to a rotary movement of the rotor 5 with the actuating part 6 starting from the neutral position N.
- the teaching of the invention can in principle also be advantageously used in a construction of the central locking drive 2 in which the rotor 5 does not return the actuating part 6 to the neutral position N.
- the teaching of the invention applies even more comprehensively.
- this is the rarer drive variant these days.
- motor vehicle door locks of the type in question can also have a so-called anti-theft function.
- anti-theft position such a motor vehicle door lock is secured in such a way that even pulling on the inside opening lever or on the inside locking lever does not unlock or open the door lock.
- the anti-theft device can only be released by actuating the door lock cylinder itself.
- the motor vehicle door lock is also equipped with an anti-theft function, namely in that the actuating part 6 can also be brought into an anti-theft position D or into an anti-theft position DE which deactivates the anti-theft device.
- the lock mechanism 1 shows the lock mechanism 1, which in any case has an inner opening lever 7 on which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, a Bowden cable 8 engages leading to the inner opening handle. Also provided is an outer opening lever, not shown here, which in turn can also attack the inner opening lever 7 again.
- an external locking lever 9 to be actuated from a door lock cylinder.
- this external lock lever 9 is present and with a drive nut 10 that can be rotated from the door lock cylinder via driving pins and Elongated hole coupled in the usual way.
- the nut 10 again represents a rotor.
- the lock mechanism 1 also includes an anti-theft lever 12 which can be adjusted by the actuating part 6.
- a power transmission lever 13 and an intermediate lever 14 are also provided, both with a driving pin 15 of a pawl, which is not shown. are coupled or can be.
- a connecting lever 16 is also provided between the central locking lever 11 and the external locking lever 9.
- the actuating part 6 on the rotor 5 is movable radially to the rotor 5, in particular is mounted displaceably and is spring-loaded radially outwards and can thus be deflected radially when the central locking drive 2 is blocked in an intermediate position with sufficient force, and unlocking or unlocking the door lock allowed. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this is indicated by the double arrow in FIG. 1 on the actuating part 6. If, for example, the rotor 5 with the actuating part 6 remains unexpectedly in the anti-theft position D, it can be pushed back radially by the anti-theft lever 12 towards the axis of rotation of the rotor 5. This changes the angular relationships of the different parts to one another and a mechanical reverse rotation of the rotor 5 becomes possible. Even without reverse rotation, the door lock can be unlocked or unlocked (opened) with the appropriate spring travel.
- a neutral position N is provided for the actuating part 6 of the rotor 5, into which this rotor 5 normally always returns.
- the illustrated embodiment also makes it clear that the central locking lever 11 and / or the anti-theft lever 12, in the illustrated embodiment both levers, are mounted on an axis 17 parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor 5, specifically in this embodiment.
- the central locking lever 11 and / or the anti-theft lever 12, both levers in the exemplary embodiment shown, are each U-shaped, wherein one leg 18 or 19 or 20 or 21 of the U projects with a control edge into the movement path of the actuating part 6, during the other legs 19 or 18 or 21 or 20 of the U with a leading edge on the edge of the movement path of the actuating part 6.
- the control edge 22 on the left leg 18 of the central locking lever 11 and the guide edge 23 are drawn with reference numerals, the other edges are not identified with reference numerals, since otherwise the drawing would be too confusing.
- each leg 18, 19, 20, 21 has a control edge 22 and a subsequent leading edge 23.
- the guide edge 23 extends orthogonally to the radius direction of the rotor 5 in the position on the edge of the movement path of the actuating part 6.
- the actuating part 6 is rounded in the illustrated embodiment at the outwardly projecting end.
- a pivoting of a lever 11 or 12 about the common axis 17 first presses the actuating part 6 radially back.
- the angular position of the guide edge 23 changes in relation to the outer, rounded end of the actuating part 6 and a tangentially directed force component on the rotor 5 results, which can cause the rotor 5 to be reset.
- control edges 23 of the legs 18, 19, 20, 21 are designed such that they have an incline which is adapted to the force effect of the actuating part 6 upon impact in the circumferential direction. This slope can be quite different, since different force effects may be required.
- the external locking lever 9 has an actuating nose 24 which, when the anti-theft lever 12 is in the anti-theft position, brings the anti-theft lever 12 into the anti-theft position during the unlocking movement. It can also be seen that the inner opening lever 7 is switched to freewheel when the anti-theft position is reached.
- Fig. 1 shows the door lock in the unlocked position.
- the rotor 5 with the actuating part 6 is in neutral position N.
- a pull on the inner opening lever 7 by means of the Bowden cable 8 or by means of a force effect from the outer opening lever moves the driving pin in the slot of the central locking lever 11 in FIG. 1 to the left and swivels thereby the power transmission lever 13 counterclockwise about the common pivot axis 25.
- the driver pin 15 of the pawl not shown, is taken along and runs downward in the arcuate slot of the external securing lever 9, so that the pawl is lifted out of the catch.
- the actuating part 6 abuts the control edge 22 on the left leg 18 of the central locking lever 11 and swivels it counterclockwise about the axis 17 dodges the leg 18 and leaves the movement path of the actuating part 6 so that it can reach the securing position S, while the opposite leg 19 swings into the movement path and lies there with its control edge.
- the external securing lever 9 in FIG. 1 is taken to the right via the connecting lever 16 and rotates the nut 10 clockwise into the securing position.
- the driver pin 15 is in the slot of the power transmission lever 13 moved so far that it comes to rest on the right in the tubular extension.
- the securing position thus achieved is shown in Fig. 2.
- the position shown in Fig. 2 can also be achieved by mechanical actuation of the door lock cylinder, ie the nut 10. If, in this securing position, FIG. 2, the Bowden cable 8 is pulled, unlocking, that is to say a return to FIG. 1, is possible in that the power transmission lever 13 presses with its transmission surface, which can be seen on the left, onto the mating surface of the central locking lever 11 and there pivots back about the axis 17 clockwise into the unlocking position from FIG. 1. Of course, this initially assumes that the rotor 5 with the actuating part 6 has returned to the neutral position N. Otherwise, the overload function of the actuating part 6 must occur.
- Fig. 3 shows the anti-theft position of the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention.
- the rotor 5 with the actuating part 6 has been pivoted into the anti-theft position D of the actuating part 6. This is shown in the anti-theft position D, normally it naturally returns to the neutral position N.
- the anti-theft lever 12 is now pivoted into the movement path of the actuating part 6, the central locking lever 11 and the actuating lever 12 now have their right legs 19, 21 projecting into the movement path.
- the central locking lever 11 in the anti-theft position, is also decoupled from the external locking lever 9, namely in that the driver pin on the left end of the connecting lever 16 through the anti-theft lever 12 down into the Area of the transverse slot in the outer locking lever 9 has been pressed. A movement of the central locking lever 11 moves the driver pin in the slot without function.
- the actuating part 6 can retreat radially against spring force, represented by the double arrow in FIG. 1, on the rotor 5 and an emergency unlocking is possible at any time, even if the central locking drive 1 should block.

Description
The invention relates to a motor vehicle door lock with the features of the preamble of
Motor vehicle door locks of the type in question are known in various embodiments. The motor vehicle door lock from which the invention is based (US Pat. No. 5,240,296) has a central locking drive with a drive motor and a rotor which is driven in rotation by the drive motor by means of a worm gear. On the rotor there is an actuating part projecting as a pin, which sits on the outer circumference of the rotor and thus rotates very eccentrically. The actuating part can be brought into an unlocking position and a securing position and into a neutral position lying exactly in between by means of the rotor.
The actuating part interacts with a central locking lever of the lock mechanism, which is mounted on an axis parallel to the axis of rotation of the rotor and has an otherwise T-shaped cutout with the narrow web directed radially outward. The unlocking position and the securing position of the actuating part are located in the web area of the cutout in approximately diametrically opposite positions. The actuating part thus swings the central locking lever back and forth about its axis between the unlocking position and the securing position. This pivoting movement then acts on the other levers in the lock mechanism.
In the previously described known motor vehicle door lock, the actuating part normally assumes the neutral position lying in the middle between the securing position and the unlocking position, which lies in the transverse region of the T-shaped cutout, after a securing process or unlocking process. In this neutral position, the pivoting movement of the central locking lever between the locked position and the unlocked position is not hindered.
An anti-theft position can be achieved in the previously described motor vehicle door lock in that the rotor moves the actuating part into the secured position and the drive motor switches off there. Now the actuating part is locked in the locked position, blocking the central locking lever, pulling on the inner locking lever or on the inner opening lever also realizing the inner locking mechanism cannot lead to unlocking the door lock.
So that the lever mechanism of the lock mechanism in this construction, in which the central locking lever is blocked in the anti-theft position, is not damaged, a clutch spring can be arranged on the one hand and the central locking lever on the other hand, between the inner locking lever or the inner locking lever realizing the inner locking. This clutch spring normally takes one lever with it when the other lever is mechanically actuated, but when the other lever is blocked, it allows one lever to move against the spring force. If in the previously described motor vehicle door lock the central locking drive is blocked in the anti-theft position or in any other intermediate position for whatever reason, the central locking lever cannot be moved; it is correspondingly permanently blocked. A repair in the workshop is essential. Even worse, without special additional measures, emergency unlocking or emergency unlocking of the motor vehicle door lock cannot be achieved either via the external locking lever to be operated from the door lock. Rather, an additional power chain must be created from the outside safety lever directly to the pawl of the motor vehicle door lock.
The invention has for its object to design a motor vehicle door lock of the type in question so that blocking the rotor of the central locking drive does not lead to permanent blocking in the security position or in the anti-theft position.
The object presented above is achieved in a motor vehicle door lock with the features of the preamble of
According to the invention, it has been recognized that a deflection of the actuating part on the rotor in the radial direction to the rotor is the correct means to obtain the required degree of freedom for an emergency release when the central locking drive is blocked. In a very simple manner, the spring force of the actuating part can be used to predefine the defined spring force radially outwards, against which an emergency release, in particular from the external securing lever, is possible if necessary.
In particular, an actuating part slidably mounted in a guide in the radial direction of the rotor is very easy to implement. But also an elastically evasive, ie inherently resilient actuating part can be an alternative if it is ensured that the required actuating forces can be transmitted to the levers in the circumferential direction.

The basic structure of the motor vehicle door lock is first explained with reference to FIG. 1. It is a motor vehicle door lock with conventional locking elements such as a rotary latch and pawl, which are not shown here. A
In Fig. 1 it is shown that the
In the illustrated and preferred embodiment, the
The above-described mode of operation is not mandatory, the teaching of the invention can in principle also be advantageously used in a construction of the
It is essential that motor vehicle door locks of the type in question can also have a so-called anti-theft function. In the anti-theft position, such a motor vehicle door lock is secured in such a way that even pulling on the inside opening lever or on the inside locking lever does not unlock or open the door lock. The anti-theft device can only be released by actuating the door lock cylinder itself. In the illustrated embodiment, the motor vehicle door lock is also equipped with an anti-theft function, namely in that the actuating
In the illustrated embodiment, but not necessarily provided, for example not on the rear side doors of motor vehicles, there is an external locking lever 9 to be actuated from a door lock cylinder. In the illustrated embodiment, this external lock lever 9 is present and with a
Finally, there is provided a
In the illustrated embodiment of a motor vehicle door lock with anti-theft function, the
How the individual levers of the
It is now essential for the invention that the
In the illustrated embodiment, according to the explanation given above, a neutral position N is provided for the
The illustrated embodiment also makes it clear that the
In the illustrated embodiment, it is provided that each
In the exemplary embodiment shown, the control edges 23 of the
The description of the door lock is complete in that it is pointed out that in the exemplary embodiment shown, the external locking lever 9 has an
Fig. 1 zeigt das Türschloß in entsicherter Stellung. Fig. 1 shows the door lock in the unlocked position. When the
If the
The position shown in Fig. 2 can also be achieved by mechanical actuation of the door lock cylinder, ie the
Fig. 3 zeigt die Diebstahlsicherungsstellung des erfindungsgemäßen Kraftfahrzeug-Türschlosses. Fig. 3 shows the anti-theft position of the motor vehicle door lock according to the invention. Here the
As a result of the
In the illustrated embodiment, it can also be seen that, in the anti-theft position, the
If, however, the anti-theft position shown in FIG. 3 is actuated by the door lock cylinder from the external locking lever 9 via the
It is interesting in all cases that, in an emergency, the
