This allows a better expansion of the receptacles when inserting the packing units and also makes it easier to shape the carrier after casting.
- the receptacles can advantageously be dimensioned such that they can grip around the tubes on the cover and on the shoulder region adjoining the cover. These areas usually have no inscription and can withstand greater forces undamaged due to their strength.
- the receptacle also has a conical area which, due to its centering effect, considerably simplifies automatic loading of the carrier and thereby enables both the tubes and the carrier to be protected.
